Two half brothers; One hell of a butt kicking team: briefly; when their father has been killed; these two estranged half brothers team up to serve their own brand of unique justice; Cmdr James Hale [David Batista:] he is the oldest, he is also a Navy Seal; frogman; now training other Navy Seals to be frogmen as well. Jonny Hale [Jason Momoa:] he is a cop well kind of; meaning he is currently suspended for using excessive force and clearly likes his drunk.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script, character developments and framework and pacing of this 124 minutes film is something solidly good, but somewhat predictable on all counts, so the framework and pacing is straightforward; there is a much more I can say that it really; it is something fundamentally sound and it just gets on with the task really.

Action, comedy and art; there is a good righty of action throughout this film which is also from time to time complemented by the other two elements; such as broadly speaking Jonny has some unwelcome individuals in his home as he is going to the bathroom; where he makes a deposit on someone's shoes, where this high octane action sequence unfolds; where the camera shots go from first person shooter perspective briefly to birds eye perspective; it gives the sequence of events much more of a firstly a more of a immersive experience and high quality and if you think they missed out the action don't worry I didn't, it is just sometimes in this movie they can be graphic, don't worry James gets his own chaotic sequence much later on; as without giving too much away; they have to enter this location and in this situation we have James on his own taking out these hench-people and because this location is made of glass and because the camera shot is designed to basically scroll along; you won't miss any of the violence or blood and yes finally I can reassure you at some point we do get Jonny vs. James and on top of that we even get a reference to John Cena.

Character developments and performances; on both counts they are all good, but as I referenced earlier character developments are easy to read, so you can predict future events, okay I wasn't completely right but very much in the same ballpark. This cast of performers have good chemistry between them and they very much backup Batista and/or Momoa; which them themselves have excellent free-flowing chemistry and at some point or another they should really consider doing another project together at some point in the future.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; but in one way or another as I have already indicated, it does follow a simple yet effective, but also predictable outlay, which if there was to be a sequel in the future, this also would be predictable, if you read between the lines, but to leave things on a positive as things are; they are good fun and I would have given something higher if this film wasn't so predictable.
