Marty, there is a problem with your son: briefly; Dr. Emmett Brown/Doc" Brown [Christopher Lloyd:] he has come back from the future to inform Marty McFly/other characters [Michael J. Fox] that his son with girlfriend/wife in a future in Jennifer Parker [Elisabeth Shue:] which she also experiences time travel, but our destination is 21/10/2015: where everything doesn't go according to plan, as a familiar face gets to rewrite their own history as well

Generally speaking: the script/storyline and the framework and pacing of this 108 minute film most definitely needs time to find its groove, but when it does; it really does explore the importance of timelines and the importance long of much screwing them up; so in the UK at one point or another Marty essentially becomes Where's Wally?/in the US: Where's Waldo? from the aspect of trying to move around these existing timelines without being noticed by anyone that can change the timeline in question or meeting his doppelgänger without screwing up this encounter either, I mean he can pose as the other version of him to make sure that things stay on schedule and as they should be, he can't interfere; so all of this aspect is well thought out and with excellent imagination and beautifully managed art, action and character developments.

Art, comedy and action; as you may guessed already I really appreciated and enjoyed the highly creative and almost visionary aspects such as watch out for Jaws [yes the iconic horror character] and even before the younger generations start overly criticise in this visual representation; let's keep in mind this film is released in 1989; so the concept and execution is still of the highest order, if the visual representation is holding a nicely but beginning to show it is age a bit, moving another icon this time Max Headroom [unfortunately he is not in this film,] but for those that are of my generation and older; his concept is very much in this sequel for a sequence; basically for the younger generations simply put; he was a computer-generated TV presenter that had blonde hair mostly dressed in black with a black-tie and white shirt underneath, occasionally wearing shades, this was his general attire as he is a computer you can change it, with also occasional glitches performed by Matt Frewer [1987-1988: 2 Seasons: 14 Episodes/1 not air and 1: Max Headroom: 20 Minutes into the Future 1985.] But back to the sequel in this location we have many different famous people that have been given the Headroom treatment and yes with their own monitor/TV to essentially live in as well and there this chasing sequences that either in one way or another has been nicely updated to reflect in being 2015 or/and a very smelly outcome.

Character developments, performances and voice performance; the character developments have been nicely updated including played out in the future and the past again and including the newcomers that seemingly just slot perfectly right in at home and just caught up to speed instantaneously; the entire cast just has excellent synergy be it performance or/and voice performance.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; after everything is said and done it finds itself in this bracket of my marking system, yes it has many positive contributing components, I just found it for the opening and beyond for a little while just a bit slow and it doesn't have the same gusto throughout as the original previous instalment does, yes there is an ongoing and seen just before the closing credits and what is to come in the future; finally no surprise, but the sequel does have some positive awards to its name such as; 9 Winners which include but not limited to Kids' Choice Awards, USA 1990 Blimp Award Favorite Movie Actor Michael J. Fox and from the same award ceremony/event Favorite Movie Actress Lea Thompson: as Lorraine Baines-McFly/other name in 2015 she is going through a rough time to say at the very least. 11 Nominees which also include but not limited to Academy Awards, USA Oscar Best Effects, Visual Effects Ken Ralston Michael Lantieri John Bell Steve Gawley and 20/20 Awards 2010 Felix Best Visual Effects
