Journey to somewhere in Mexico: briefly; we meet Lucas Hollister/other name [Patrick Scott McDermott:] he is the oldest brother looking after his little brother, but after an accident he is sentenced to death. Harland Rust [ Alec Baldwin:] he is an old outlaw which is also her grandfather to these two nephews, but he takes Lucas on this journey to safety

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 139 minutes long is best described as torture; it just drifts along without any kind of get up and go, in fact it got up and left us way behind; this film was hard work to watch and my interest in it, very much switched off at somewhere throughout.

Art and action; there are some beautiful artistic visions throughout this project and let's be completely honest here they are one of the biggest consistent assets alongside another which I will discuss later, but for now the artistic eye throughout this film is to be given high praise indeed and Halyna Hutchins as cinematographer on this title, should be delighted with the finished article of this title and the action sequences are very much the standard for a western genre project, so they are at least solid.

Character developments and performances; the character developments are broadly speaking for the vast majority of them; solid versions of what they are meant to be, but the character developments of Lucas Hollister/other name are just incredibly insufferable as at no point does he seem to grasp what kind of trouble/world he now finds himself in; you know it is okay for awhile to have this kind of character development, because he is young but some point the penny has dropped at some point, I mean really character developments he expresses of growth is the standard for this kind of outlay, which is getting closer to his family member. I mean if they wanted this kind of character developments where he doesn't learn they have hit the nail on the head, consequently if this is what they were going for Scott McDermott puts in a good performance. Baldwin as Harland Rust: essentially puts this film on his back and carries it as best as he can, without Baldwin putting in this strong performance to try and make something out of very little without any assistance from the framework or/and pacing of this film, he still shows that he can still offer a lot to the film industry.

This film receives: 2/10,  this film is poor; as I have already referenced this film is not only a averagely long film, but it actually feels much longer am incredibly tiresome and likewise the character developments of one main character is insufferable as well. there is words on-screen referencing Hutchins an extra credit scene and a section focused on Hutchins' family [that accidentally got shot and subsequently died on 21/11/2021] and this film does have 1 Winner award accredited to its name, which is massive negative Alliance of Women Film Journalists 2022 EDA Special Mention Award Hall of Shame Producers, crew and cast of RUST for not following proper safety protocol and causing the tragic death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Out on respect I will dedicate this content to Halyna Hutchins: RIP Halyna Hutchins 1979-2021
