Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful

5 years later: briefly; Agent Joe Travers/other names [Scott
Eastwood:] he is retired, but is on a mission with his wife, but Agent Chester [Sylvester Stallone:] he is
sent to take out this husband-and-wife.
Generally speaking: the storyline/script, character developments, framework
and pacing of this 95 minutes film; is messy go in the wrong it makes sense
kind of but it doesn't give us a full rounded picture and this is one of those
rare occasion, for us the viewers to get the understanding in some cases we
need to see things, I will discuss this more later on, but needless to say as
things are it comes off really cheap and tacky and incredibly lazy, so in
response to that it makes the framework and pacing nonsensical from the aspect
of Who? What the hell? Where are we going now? Then it suddenly drops like a
stone as when we go to these characters sitting around possibly at this table,
then for all intents and purposes we are back out in the field.
Art,
action and comedy; for some reason [ I say with some reason based on the
quality of this artistic sequence and the quality of the rest of the film, is
very poor:] but however the artistic red opening sequence is high quality, but
for the rest of the film the green-screen effects are let's be polite highly
noticeable, the action sequences are plentiful with guns and combat; basically
Mike Colter as Orlin: without giving too much away as he is a leader of this
group sent in to retrieve something: but in this one sequence of events he
shoots the grenades into these three separate windows to hopefully burn
out/bring out these characters or with one character in a nutshell asking
another character if they can join them, with in response after killing this
individual saying something to the effect of access denied.
Character
developments and performances; I need to make this crystal clear that if we
just had the substandard character types for this type of action film, which we
do on some aspects with some characters, but to have this exposition of 5
years, including but not limited to making references to this organisation in
some fashion, without actually seeing them in the slightest, well to be
brutally honest it is incredibly tedious and tiresome, which infringes on the
is paint by numbers character types, so broadly the performances are a mixed
bag of poor to mostly mediocre with one exception: Colter as Orlin; he is the
one that looks and feels natural as this character type; so this is all good;
he very much standout as a character and simultaneously a performer it as well.
Alexa is in music 1/10, this film is poor; in theory this film should
have been somewhere between 5 or 6 or at a push 7/10, because everything about
this project is designed to be an action film, you know something
straightforward without too much hassle. But back in reality the execution is
absolute garbage; yes it may have some good elements or/and components, but the
negatives greatly outweigh the positives; it's very much whatever talent this
cast as at its disposal and like I have already referenced it leaves everything
open for a sequel, based on here and now if it doesn't it makes this ending
look like garbage and if it does the person I watch some of this content with
has already very much declined to watch the sequel.
