What's the Worst That Could Happen? The creation of this film for one thing: briefly; we have these two characters;  Kevin Caffery [Martin Lawrence:] he is a thief that gets given this ring by his new girlfriend which has sentimentality, he gets left behind whilst robbing Max Fairbanks [Danny DeVito:] he is a businessman going through bankruptcy, that tells the police the ring belongs to him and am sorry for saying this; but in my defence it is what it is; because one is African-American and the other is Caucasian; the police believe the Caucasian; so our story is situated around this ring.

Generally speaking: the storyline/script is god-awful; it is basically a penis measuring contest, the framework and pacing of the 95 minutes film is very much straightforward; as you can pretty much tell already or hopefully tell even at this early stage; the framework and pacing is fundamentally sound and isn't problematic.

Action and comedy; these are very generic, tedious and not funny in the slightest. The only funny aspect of this entire film was this sign language interpreter had to interpret these adult language references two different points in this film.

Character developments and performances; what character developments? I mean towards the closing stages of this film our partnership do find some common ground, but then again it starts all over again and broadly speaking for the rest of the characters they are solid versions of what they are meant to be. The performances are if this is what they wanted from their partnership? They struck gold, for everyone else their performances were solidly good.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; this is one of the rare occasion where I hope everyone was at minimum decently paid to work on this film, because it is garbage.
