I think this is a stupid fudgin’ situation entirely: I have been thinking about this situation all day, trying to think of any positives of this match whatsoever and I can't think of any. So let's just begin from the beginning; as far as I can tell Goldberg is in good shape for an average person, but not for wrestling. Meaning for those people that have been around wrestling long enough, you should know that there is a difference between being in shape and being in wrestling shape; it is a completely different level of training.

I am going to have to be cruel to be kind here; when I say his match standards have nosedived over more recent times, which is no surprise because he is well and truly into his 50's at this point [as of this content being first created he is 58 years old] and he hasn't modified his wrestling style to cater for getting older, so hypothetically if he tries to pull off the Jackhammer on King Walter I will for one be absolutely messing my underwear: even hypothetically and potentially Goldberg/Walter were to start this move with Walter being situated sitting on the top turnbuckle so that Goldberg doesn't have to lift him so far, I think we can all agree that Goldberg's latest versions of this legendary move has been at best pitiful, as he shouldn't really be doing it any more for genuine health concerns to all concerned. I mean go on YouTube and see how it used to be done when Goldberg was in his prime and you will see everything I am saying has merit here.

I mean at the end of the segment Goldberg couldn't even climb the corner with ease and on top of that if he even considers doing is standard before match ritual; this match goes from in my eyes a train wreck with a driver being behind the controls to a train wreck without a driver to begin with and for those that don't know his before match ritual he has to head-butt something really hard like a locker or another thing to get him in the right frame of mind, but yet again over more recent times, he has made his head bleed [so in his entrance when it comes round in this match, if you see a red mark or blood roughly on his forehead, you know what has just taken place,] but no surprise over more recent times he has gave himself a concussion because of this as well.]

I mean I knew this comparison was going to come up eventually, but instead it only came up less than 24 hours later: Sting being 64 years old when he retired and Goldberg being a young up and comer at the age of 58. Well I didn't think I had in this simplistic with stupid people; Sting throughout his AEW retirement was in wrestling shape, at minimum is match standards was high okay he had some missteps, but he still operate and keep up with the talent on the roster; so as you can clearly see there is absolutely no comparison between these two wrestlers.

From a storyline perspective; this makes absolutely no sense, okay have the match because of previous history, if that is something they want to do. But to put the championship on the line, why? I hope of what little comments I have seen online, I hope they don't give the championship to Goldberg. Because of the clips I have seen online they haven't referenced yet the word retirement and if you have been on a social media platform lately you would easily know that Solofa Fatu Jr. A.k.a. Rikishi has been heavily criticising the WWE for how they booked his son: Jey Uso as the WWE Heavyweight Champion and losing it back to Walter just after 51 days, which I can see some of what he says as true: in a nutshell they really didn't back him, but if you want to know anymore please go to the related content section. But I digress; if this situation does come to pass I can see Fatu Jr. losing his manure and rightly so, essentially what the WWE would have theoretically done is playing hot potato with this championship and putting both Championships in the hands of wrestlers such as the Undisputed WWE Championship in the hands of John Cena and potentially Goldberg here with the WWE Heavyweight Champion smart move WWE... Not! But we will have to wait and see Goldberg vs. Champ King Walter for the WWE Heavyweight Champion in a Singles Match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XL Saturday 12/07/2025. There is one final thing any wrestling on the WWE roster after going up against Walter has at one point or another shown their aftermath, back in Goldberg's day the hardest hit by reputation would have been by far WWF's Haku/WCW's Meng: real name: Tonga ʻUliʻuli Fifita and I can see him saying this guy Walter can really strike.

So unfortunately I can see this match quickly getting very uncomfortable either if Goldberg gives himself a concussion before the match has even started or not and we even have social media showing his match times going minutes and we even have Walter getting in on the act making reference to 3 minutes, I honestly believe that this entire situation is going to be a shower of manure.
