Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: Mariah May NXT Debut Tuesday 03/06/2025 by AverageMansReviews

Warning: censored adult language references will be used in this content and I really couldn't care less what you think.

If the truth was known am getting extremely fed up: some pockets of wrestling fans I don't care what fudgin' promotion you have an alliance to for me she took the easy option out, when she could have stayed in AEW for another two years and grafted made herself more appealing. Because her feud with Toni Storm is something that they could have explored on her return, or there is/was possibilities of doing other things.

I mean straight away on her debut on Tuesday within less than two minutes they had pretty much washed away all of that excellent credibility that she had built up with AEW and replaced it with a stereotypical blonde, based her character to around looks based on the fact she has associations with the word Glamorous with blonde and boobs, so AEW turn her into an actual wrestler that performs at Wembley to NXT where she gets turned into a Sindy Doll performing in front of maybe at best on a regular basis depending where they are maybe 1200 people and you are absolutely right I did not appreciate her reference/dig where she said something to the effect of this is where the best females wrestle or something to that effect.

The fact is be it Shawn Michaels or Triple H: let's be honest they couldn't book manure at the moment; they gave a quick flight through NXT to these future legendary female wrestlers in; Giulia,  Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace: these three women are essentially the male equivalents of The Undertaker, The Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin all just before their individual primes and they were still able to screw them up, I mean how is it physically possible to do this they are highly talented and experienced wrestlers, but watch this; hopefully when they all get to the main rosters, for a little while they will be presented as an unstoppable wrestlers and speaking of the main roster; how's it going Alistair Black? How about you Rusev? Are you happy now you are still doing the same manure all those years ago when he first left the WWE? Based on my opinion or I think we all know that there is a brewing situation with the WWE and Karrion Kross. So my point here is that these are just 6 wrestlers that so far the WWE has either screwed up or done nothing with or should be doing something much better with.

The uncomfortable reality as it relates to May is quite simply this why would they want her and before I continue I am not the only one saying this, when they already have Tiffany Stretton?

I can hear those comments right now: either "TK didn't book her correctly" which is absolutely garbage based on last year she was the AEW Women's World Champion for a good portion of the year and including a top-notch feud with Storm over this championship as well. Or I can hear the other comment of "She basically wanted to go and live her dream in WWE." That may be, but how about respecting those for another year that open the door for you.

There is one massive thing that is really well and truly beginning to get out my nose and it is the gigantic disparity between the WWE and their associates and AEW and their associates: in summary and broadly speaking okay when WWE do something wrong most of you are like: Oh that was bad or #WeWantTruth, but they do something right you can't stop singing their praises, meanwhile AEW get; there was good, but when they do something wrong; time to get the pitchforks out, so to finish off May I wish you good luck.
