Ohana is everything: briefly; Experiment 626/Stitch/other name [voiced by Chris
Sanders:] a genetic experiment engineered for destruction, he crashed lands on
this planet known as Earth; more specifically Hawaii, with different people
chasing him, he assumes the identity of a puppy gets adopted by this lovely yet
complicated native Hawaiian family; the Pelekai family Lilo [Maia Kealoha:] she
is a six-year-old little girl, that doesn't have any friends, so she prays on
what seems to be a shooting star for a friend and then we have her older
sister/guardian Nani [Sydney Elizebeth Agudong/Sydney Agudong:] she is a very
intelligent woman, that is trying to do her best for her little sister and her
self.
Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 108 minutes film is
broadly speaking good, I mean it does take some time to find itself in its
groove, but after that things move fluently for the remainder of the film
Action
and comedy and art; they seem to have captured the fact that Stich is very much
a handful, be it thrown this Elvis CD out of this moving vehicle or/and hot
wiring this children's vehicle or and drinking out of this lava lamp even with
a soft warning from Lilo, he just continues then burps and the visual
representation of Stitch is
beautifully satisfying with from time to time also being beautifully disgusting:
the interaction with Stitch also
feels very natural so they should be very happy with the finished results here;
likewise the underwater action sequences should also be given high praise and
though all round presentation on the whole is good.
Character
developments, performances and voice performances; as I have already made
references to throughout this content already; they captured the essence of
Lilo and Stitch with spot on results as individually they struggle without one
another and on top of that; they have this Ohana [Ohana means in a rough
translation and yes of about this in the film as well: as I was saying it
roughly translates as family or/and strong community] around them, so as it relates
to the performances or/and voice performances; they have all very much already
made this interpretation their very own, so hypothetically speaking if they
were to do any more projects they would have to bring back this already defined
cast of voices and their respective characters
This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; on
reflection it needs time to find itself as I have already referenced, but still
after everything is said and done, this mark is a fair reflection of it, because
when it finds itself it is a strong interpretation of this franchise being
brought to life, I would be very disappointed if this instalment at minimum
does not pick up at least some positive nominations, yes Disney this is your
standard bearer for bringing your old properties to live using live-action and
in one way or another there are extra bits throughout the first closing
credits.
