Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/drugs/shooting/stabbing/breaking/impaling/cutting/suffocating/burning/electrician/animal cruelty/animal waste/bodily functions/drowning/vehicle crash/medical

The drugs have gone: basic outline; Detective Sergeant Michael  "Mike" Lowrey/Detective Sergeant Marcus Burnett [Will Smith:] he works for the Miami Metro Police Department with his partner, he is a single financially better off individual that it would be safe to say he is also a player as in for the older generations, he likes the women and the women like him and now we have Detective Sergeant Marcus Burnett/Detective Sergeant Michael "Mike" Lowrey [Martin Lawrence:] he is a family man which is also reserved than his partner. Now after the latest case was a massive success of seizing this massive drugs shipment, some criminals have the guts to steal it from the evidence area, so their captain; Captain Conrad Howard [Joe Pantoliano:] he has a short fuse, it is a mixture between long-suffering captain but he also knows these two Detective Sergeants get results, he gives them days to resolve this case, because if they don't they are all out of work including the captain. But they get a pinch of luck to begin with; they have a witness to another situation that could help with this ongoing investigation Julie Mott [Téa Leoni:] she is an out of work photographer; that was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 119 minutes long film is best described as very 1990's with the prominent background music and limited slow motion effects now and again. But simply put; it keeps going with real get up and go to it.

Comedy and action; these two aspects more often than not go hand-in-hand with one another they can be experienced in one way or another, be it our two detectives being carjacked, as they are well having this heated discussion about this food being stuck in Detective Sergeant Lowrey's brand-new car, or Captain Howard trying to practice basketball shots, whilst talking about this case, I should point out he is also smoking a cigar, missing the shots and at the end of this scene Detective Sergeant Lowrey  shows he has game or Detective Sergeant Burnett under his knowledge he plays along with his partner to get information out of a source or they have friction with co-workers Detective Sanchez [Nestor Serrano] & Detective Ruiz [Julio Oscar Mechoso] but however when the chips are down they are there for them and then we have a running theme of whenever these two get involved into this situation, they cost Miami money as they like to leave collateral damage

Character developments and performances; the character developments are smoothly played out, but these performances of this cast that makes them are excellently natural, which in turn makes its viewing audiences feel a part of these character's lives.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; as I have already referenced in some way; this is one of those films that represents the 1990's very well indeed, what with Smith, Lawrence leading this array of talented cast and Michael Bay directing [everyone knows Bay's era was the 1990's as in you can be touched as in he just kept coming out with smash hit after smashing] and there is an ongoing sequence whilst the closing credits begin. This film also has some awards accredited to its name; 1 Winner BMI Film & TV Awards 1995 BMI Film Music Award Mark Mancina and 3 Nominees that include MTV Movie + TV Awards 1996 MTV Movie Award Best On Screen Duo Will Smith Martin Lawrence
