4 Days Earlier: briefly; Gabriel/other name [John Travolta:] he is a criminal that believes that without question he is doing what is best for the people of the United States of America, but for him to achieve his mission he needs a computer hacker, he also has left hand woman by the name of Ginger/other name [Halley Berry:] she is a very intelligent woman in her own right, but her job is to persuade a computer hacker, which luckily enough she finds one by the name of Stanley "Stan" Jobson [Hugh Jackman:] a ex-computer hacker, which has been released from prison and trying to live his life on the straight and narrow, going back and forth to court to fight to see his daughter Holly Jobson [Camryn Grimes:] a young and smart girl which misses her dad. Gabriel also has a right-hand man by the name of Marco [Vinnie Jones:] he is the muscle of this trio and doesn't trust Stan. If Stan does become involved in this situation he has an old friend that goes by the name of FBI Agent J.T. Roberts [Don Cheadle:] even though he was the one responsible for putting Stan away in prison, this time he would like to help him get his daughter back, as he is working the Gabriel case now.

The framework and pacing of this 99 minutes film is straightforward as it knows what it is doing and sticks to it.

Action: all of this is good as in for this kind of film, it is to be expected you know hostages situation, chasing  and some form of torture to get what someone wants. I mean the only action sequences that I could point and will point out is where; Gabriel and Stan are being followed by some hit-people, so Gabriel has picked up on this and gets Stan to drive whilst Gabriel takes care of them in this chaotic sequence of mayhem and destruction and much later on the usage of this rocket launcher on this helicopter.

Character developments and performances: the character types are good versions of what they are meant to be, with generally speaking a good cast to put them into practice. But however I need to stress that without the performances of basically the Marvel contingent of Travolta, Jackman,  Berry [before someone pointed this out yes I know she has done DC as well,] Cheadle and Jones this film would have really struggled.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good; this is one of those types of films that if you have seen once yet or haven't seen it for somewhere like a decade, you could get a takeaway out and be entertained by it. This film also has some awards accredited to it and yes they are not all positive; 5 Winners that includes BMI Film & TV Awards 2002 BMI Film Music Awards Paul Oakenfold [from the same award ceremony/event] BMI Film Music Awards Christopher Young.
