Comments: I
don't have too much to say here other than this match/match slot good, I think
Phoenix thinks that a ladder is going to fall on her at one point; either Grimes or the table stops
that from happening. But you hear this yell from Phoenix and Joseph referenced
it on commentary, but we don't have a good angle of what actually happened. My
final point is an observation/question: Dibiase is sitting at ringside with his
security and his is championship, so why didn't they get him to go on commentary
for this match? Interest of fairness and balance and obviously I have no way of
proving this; but he could have been asked and declined for some reason, but if
he was willing you should have really been on commentary for this match, It just feels like once-in-a-lifetime opportunity missed to create this moment to have this legend on commentary at this live event which is also legendary to put over the younger generation, for this likewise legendary championship.
Basic Result: LA Knight is your new Million Champion.
Basic walk-through of this event:
* Wade Barrett, Vic Joseph & Beth Phoenix: Commentary talk over replays of what they have just seen over LA Knight's entrance theme of "Rollin' Deep"
*
"The Million Dollar Man" presents LA Knight with the Million Dollar
Championship.
* Commercials; of WWE going back on the road and WWEShop.com specifically NXT
merchandise
*
Todd Pettengill: Host of this Premium Live Event; from the previous VHS joke from
earlier, he reassures us that the NHS and DVDs are anymore from the WWE way of
doing things; then he does one of his old-fashioned [if you are a of the old
generation, you will remember at one point in in the pay-per-view he would
advertise the merchandise for this pay-per-view in question.] This is what he
begins to do here, but he is interrupted by Hit Row: Ashante Adonis, Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, B-FAB &
Top Dolla; where advertise merchandise and in track "Now You Know"
they leave Pettengill holding a cover of the new track.
*
Vic Joseph: Commentary through this camera person to the backstage area where
there is a hostile situation in the locker room's between Pete Dunne and the
NXT Champion Karrion Kross with many people/personnel keeping them apart with I
am going to go General Manager of NXT William Regal in the middle.
*
Vic Joseph: Commentary moves on to our next match with TV graphic on-screen of
NXT Women's Champion Raquel González [with Dakota Kai] vs. Ember Moon for this
Championship, then we go to this video package of Moon's history, press
conference of this event and how we got here.
*
Alicia Taylor: Ring announcer says stipulation introduces the competitors.
