Recommendation of: NXT Vengeance Day 2023 by AverageMansReviews

Warning/Disclaimer/Blood warning/Dislocating or Breaking warning/Full disclosure: there is flashing/colourful effects throughout. Disclaimer I have never or are likely to be a professional wrestler and full disclosure I couldn't watch this event live, because of Internet provider issues from their end once last week and once yesterday; yes when I was trying to watch this event, I am now slowly making my way through it in parts and yes I already know some of the results.

Dijak vs. Champ Wes Lee; Singles Match for the NXT North American Championship: well this match was clunky or/and botchy at best; Lee performers this back body drop on the entrance side of the ring apron, then this reversal into a poisonrana and finally this really messy looking power bomb from the top turnbuckle from Dijak which on one hand looks as safe as a house made out of playing cards, which would have been possibly safer for Lee just to take the bump, then on the other hand what came next as Lee reversed this into an attempted hurricanrana which as I have already indicated I have never been inside a wrestling ring, but no surprise here but this entire situation just collapsed and finally Dijak either dislocate or breaks his finger which you can clearly see at the end of this match for a moment as the camera gets a good shot. Yes this crowd is into this match but for me I wasn't. This match/match slot receives: 5/10.

Fallon Henley & Kiana James [with Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen] vs. Champs Katana Chance & Kayden Carter; Tag Team Match for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships: this match/match slot was and is straightforward it began to put me to sleep, but in the interest of fairness and balance the previous match/match slot didn't really help much either. This match/match slot receives: 6/10.

There is a video package for JD McDonagh would contains blood

Carmelo Hayes [with Trick Williams] vs. Apollo Crews; Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match: Vic Joseph asks Booker T. I am paraphrasing here whoever wins this match has got to be in the mix for a NXT Championship and Booker T goes on about whomever wins the NXT North American Championship here [all I am going to say here is; it is a good thing that Booker T. came out with this instead of his commentary partner, because T. does more than one reference to this.] Crews somehow almost misses a standing Shooting Star Press pin as Joseph makes reference to it on commentary by basically saying he didn't get all of that.

Gallus': Mark Coffey & Wolfgang vs. Chase University's: Andre Chase & Duke Hudson vs. Champs The New Day's: Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods; Fatal Four-Way the NXT Tag Team Championships: simply put; it delivers and hopefully this live event can take on from here and keep the momentum going. This match/match slot receives: 8/10.

Toxic Attraction's Gigi Dolin &/vs. Jacy Jayne vs. Champ Roxanne Perez; Triple Threat Match for the NXT Women's Championship: Joseph says a weird statement; I am paraphrasing again Jacy Jayne has spoken to the digital team about her side plates on her championship when she retains. This is wrong, because this only applies to Perez as if she wins she will be the only one retaining. Now if Joseph had said if or when Jacy Jayne becomes champion she has spoken to the digital team about her side plates this would be correct. But for this match/match slot itself it was good and it keeps the momentum of this live event going.

Grayson Waller vs. Champ Bron Breakker; Steel Cage Match for the NXT Championship: Breakker performs this standing moonsalt, but like Crews with his Shooting Star Press pin from earlier he mostly misses and likewise and I am paraphrasing here again Joseph makes reference to it on commentary by basically saying he didn't get all of that. Generally speaking this match/match slot is a little bit slow, but the simple question is; do both wrestlers look for having this match? Yes. This match/match slot receives: 8/10.

The average mark of this pay-per-view is: 7/10, as you can see from these markings this would be a fair average marking based on this Premium Live Event they already have two main eventer on the main rosters acts if or when they get there in Carmelo Hayes [with Trick Williams] WWE don't break them up keep them together either on this brand or the main rosters and of course Bron Breakker. Providing they don't change their gimmicks too much okay change their names a little if you have to but not their character design, because whomever they feud with it will be must-see TV.
