Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy [Season 1,] Episode 18: Cutting the Slack by AverageMansReviews

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/bodily functions/medical

The Director of IFW [Intergalactic Wrestling Federation] Vance McMadd at a press conference has a major announcement: Storyline, Comedy, Character [Character developments] and Art; some of The Muscle League are watching this announcement on TV where to begin with our commentary team of Mac Metaphor and "Doc" Nakano; are speculating about what this press conference could be about with Nakano goes on to say basically I wonder if he is going to apologise for their dreadful extreme figure skating league he try to start with Metaphor saying don't remind us. I am having an educated guess here that this was a poke at Mr McMahon back in the day trying to start up the XFL [Xtreme Football League] the first time around in 1999, but the first season was in 2001. In this press conference in a nutshell: he talks about 4 out of the 9 Muscle League members of the current crop are lazy; Kid Muscle, Terry Kanyon, Wally Tusket and Dik-Dik Van-Dik. So he has decided to set up a tournament between these four and the latest and the most highest ranking graduates ever from The Hercules Factory better known as Generation X, where if one from the latest Muscle League wins this tournament, they get to stay and defend Earth, but if they lose they are going to get replaced by Generation X [this doesn't take rocket science to work out that at the very least I can speculate that this name of Generation X was probably inspired from D-Generation X legendary and infamous faction of the WWF/WWE that was founded in 1997 and ever since then they in one form or another comeback and they recently came back [as of this blog/review] to celebrate their 25th anniversary Monday 10/10/2022. But I digress the loser goes back to The Hercules Factory and after training again they get sent to Uranus to defend that planet.

We have this intimidating image of basically Vance McMadd in front of this table and the media and behind him he has Generation X to on  the left and two on the right looking identical in a disguise the only difference is they have these numbers in this rectangle on their chest, but from head to toe in a general description they are wearing a beret, a red one followed by head/face is covering; also identical as in you have the basic facial features outlines which are all the same with I would go with a army inspired outfit to match; excellent art here.

This episode receives: 9/10, this episode is excellent; has lots to offer, as it has moved on to another big threat with the inclusion of the tournament
