Avengers: Age of Ultron 2015 by AverageMansReviews
Review Time
Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful
effects/shooting/stabbing/decapitation/transformation/medical.
Assemble for the second time: after dealing with Hydra and recovering Loki's Scepter,
which houses a yellow infinity stone Tony Stark a.k.a. Iron Man [Robert Downey
Jr.] has been working on this idea with Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a. Hulk [Mark
Ruffalo] to create Ultron to be a protector on Earth or shield around Earth for
potential outer space invaders. So he asks Thor [Chris Hemsworth] if he is
going to stick around for the party after this? Which uses yes then Tony
enquirers to if he can give the Sceptre a once over before it has to go back to Asgard?
Which then he has three days with the Sceptre, Dr. Bruce Banner, which is in a
nutshell is not so sure about Tony's plan and himself to learn as much as they
can and to get Ultron [voice by James Spade] up and running, what possibly
could go wrong?
The pacing for this roughly 141
minutes film is good, you know there is lots happening and it just needs to
keep loose and adaptive things as they come along, generally speaking speed up
with the action sequences and slow down with the talking points that kind of
thing. This sequel has this ongoing comedy reference where in short Steve
Rogers/Captain America says language to Tony Stark/Iron Man in the opening
section as he uses an adult language reference and like Steve Rogers/Captain
America says to himself I'm not going to live this down Towards the closing stages of this film Steve Rogers/Captain America uses an adult language reference so we get this slow build up throughout this film for this comedy element as well, so two words one stone is what we have here or another comedy
reference as the male Avenger and James
"Rhodey" Rhodes/War Machine and minus Thor and Clint Barton a.k.a.
Hawkeye after this party try to lift Mjollnir; which I should grow quickly
remind you, it has a spell put on it by Oden [ Anthony Hopkins] in Thor 2011
that basically whomever is worthy can wield Thor's hammer, so they try by any
means necessary to lift it but they can't Dr. Bruce Banner a.k.a. Hulk hints to
Natasha Romanoff a.k.a. Black Widow to have a go or she is welcome to have a go
but I am paraphrasing here she is good drinking a beer. This is also subtly
fantastic foreshadowing character developments for someone later on.
Whilst I am on the subject of
character developments I may as well continue on them as usual they have all
minus the newbies have been will progressed from film title to film title in
MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe] Phase 2, full disclosure I know I need to
re-watch some films from Phase 2 so I can do a review on them, but I wanted to
discuss briefly more fantastic character developments, but not trying to give
too much away Wanda Maximoff [Elizabeth Olson] as she uses her powers to screw
with mines of one example Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow that gives us the
viewers a window into her back story, the character developments of our
recurring characters continues to be slightly developed over time and projects
so everyone in the cast just has an excellent fluency of chemistry between them
including the newcomers they just slot in perfectly with their on-screen
chemistry and performances for an example; Winner Behind the Voice Actors
Awards 2016; BTVA People's Choice Voice Acting Award Best Male Lead Vocal Performance in a Feature
Film James Spader As the voice of "Ultron" and Nominee at the same
award ceremony/event BTVA Feature Film Voice Acting Award; Best Male Lead Vocal
Performance in a Feature Film James Spader As the voice of "Ultron".
Now back to Wanda Maximoff screwing with some of The Avengers minds we get this action sequence that is highly imaginative and highly between Iron-Man/Tony Stark with Veronica [this large array of weapons and more compatible for the-Iron Man suit [Mark XLIV - Hulkbuster] and highly sophisticated cage type object as well designed for this potential eventuality of Dr Bruce Banner/Hulk going berserk, this sequence has Nominees to its name here is one; MTV Movie + TV Awards 2016; MTV Movie Award; Best Fight Robert Downey Jr. Mark Ruffalo Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) vs. Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) so as you may have guessed as it relates to the action and artistic visions this looks once again fantastic with all this carnage and mayhem; now I should just point out in one way or another this film has Won or it has Nominees for its art as well; I have just chosen the first and second on the list and the more general ones; Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2016; Saturn Award; Alexandra Byrne and/or at the same award ceremony/event Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture.
This film receives: 10/10, this film is lots of fun; this is speculation/opinion based, if they wanted to go in with the idea of being different from the last time these characters/performers were all together Marvel Avengers Assemble 2012 [alternative names The Avengers or Marvel's The Avengers] Phase 1 then they have achieved this; I see this film title as on reflection the calm before the storm with in comparison many dark days ahead, so; so what they used a ongoing comical element plus others as well, let them have fun times for now and yes this film has one extra scene after the first section of credits. This film has awards accredited to its name 8 Winners; Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2016 Saturn Award Best Costume Design Alexandra Byrne and 50 Nominees [at the same award ceremony/event] Best Supporting Actor Paul Bettany. But I have to be honest on a closer look this sequel has some negative awards Nominees to its name like for an example; Golden Schmoes Awards 2015 Most Overrated Movie of the Year.
