He-Man and the Masters of the Universe [Season 2,] Episode 67: The Energy Beast by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects.

Storyline/Moral message: it is good and its Moral message is basically this "Patients"

Orko; infuriates me: Character; now I know when I first covered the First Season of this TV program I had made it consistently crystal clear I hate everything to do with this character and this is a long-term hatred like from the very beginning of this TV program from 1983 until the day I am no longer on this rock; I may have said something to this effect or said this First Season as well, but as that was some years ago now, so there is no harm in me repeating it if I have said it.

Don't get me wrong I get/I understand Orko's purpose; this character is/was designed to represent the viewing audience; specifically the young children/children demographic where this character would act like us; so basically they would use Orko on a consistent basis to spread their moral component how to be a better person that kind of thing [other characters would talk to him/in reality the other characters would be talking to their viewing audience via him; yes they had different angles/narratives to get their moral component out there as well, but all I am saying here is Orko is/was there go to character to deal with this kind of component and not forgetting the closing section of the episode had a moral message in it as well which may or may not have included him, but breaking the fourth wall to speak to their audience; but after all this my point is simple he is unbelievably annoying [what can I say here; I was trying to be balanced in Orko's character design/developments.]

Prince Adam/He-Man should have been a tennis player: we have Prince Adam/He-Man on the back of Cringer/Battle-Cat riding towards this Energy Beast swinging the Power Sword to hit away/defend against his energy bolts [I don't know if that is their real names, but let's go with that; which are in the shape of thunder;] this is good Action and good Art going hand-in-hand here.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; I mean minus Orko; this episode has lots of good things to offer its viewers
