In-depth Predictions/Other elements
for AEW Revolutions 2021 by AverageMansReviews
Just a heads up/Warning &
Disclaimer: these matches may be in the wrong
order and I will bring up the rest when it is appropriate, but if you go
searching for this I will not be held responsible.
Riho & Thunder Rosa vs. Dr. Britt
Baker, D.M.D. & Rebel, Tag Team Match: my pick is Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Rebel; basically
I wanted to go for Riho & Thunder Rosa, but I can see a dusty finish here
so Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Rebel should pick up the W. here.
Casino Tag Team Royale for a future
AEW World Tag Team: my Death Triangle's
[Pac & Rey Fenix,] I will discuss this later.
Miro & Kip Sabian [with Penelope
Ford] vs. Orange Cassidy & Chuck Taylor, Tag Team Match: my pick is Miro & Kip Sabian, with another dusty
finish with Penelope Ford getting involved somewhere at some time or more than
once, but at minimum once.
Cody Rhodes [with Arn Anderson] vs.
Scorpio Sky vs. Penta El Zero Miedo vs. Lance Archer [with Jake Roberts] vs.
Max Caster vs. Mystery participant, Face of the Revolution Ladder Match for a
future AEW TNT Championship Match: my
pick is the Mystery participant. Now I have no idea who this could be, but if I
was AEW I would bring in somebody that has been around the Intercontinental or
the United States Championship, or an possibly an X Division Champion which you
have to work for the TNA/Impact [I am not so sure about this; But it is
worthwhile putting it here nonetheless,] because it may irritate Impact
depending on the specific situation; you know left on good terms or at the very
least amicable or not] so I am thinking it is more than likely from the WWE
territory which has had decent reigns to try and elevate the AEW TNT
Championship to the next level. I know I have been a little bit vague here but
at least I have tried to somewhat limited down.
"Hangman" Adam Page vs.
"Big Money" Matt Hardy, Single Match, Big Money Match Winner receives
the loser's 2021 first-quarter earnings:
my pick is "Big Money" Matt Hardy with another dusty finish. Don't
get me wrong this match will be good, but it is more about the narrative they
are potentially going for here; which would be Page being down on his luck,
broke and the only ones that are consistently there for him are The Dark Order,
consequently he joins them to eventually be there representative in the AEW
World Championship picture [on a quick side note; before I receive any backlash
I am not trying to replace Brodie Lee; he is irreplaceable and -1 Brodie Lee
Jr. is currently way too young to pick up his Fathers' reigns in a in-ring
capacity, but The Dark Order need somebody to represent them in the Main Event
picture.]
Ryo Mizunami vs. the AEW Women's
Champion Hikaru Shida, Singles Match for the AEW Women's Championship: my pick is Hikaru Shida, I have only seen Mizunami
wrestle once [AEW: Double or Nothing 2019; Six-Women Tag Team Match; Hikaru
Shida, Riho & Ryo Mizunami vs. Aja Kong, Emi Sakura & Yuka Sakazaki. I
wanted to watch more of the Asian side of this AEW Women's Championship
Tournament to find the next No1 Contender for the AEW Women's Championship, but
as usual time is never my best friend.
But this match will be good, I would
like to see more Asian or any different cultures but in this case Asian
performers in their Women's Division, because as they have been usually trained
from a very young age they can bring their experience to the AEW Women's
Division obviously keeping in mind of this global pandemic as well so maybe not
now but something for the future, because as everyone should know by now I am
very wary of this global pandemic and this culture component I am speaking of
can go for the men's as well. But back onto this match briefly it gets a good
screen time/match slot runtime and whilst Mizunami is in the US and providing
she is available they could stick her in a little program with Shida and her
against one another with another Heel & Mizunami vs. Face & Shida; Tag
Team which if the Heels win whomever picks up the W. is the next No1 Contender
for the AEW Women's Championship.
Team Taz's [Brian Cage & Ricky
Starks with Taz] vs. the AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin & Sting, Street Fight: my pick is the AEW TNT Champion Darby Allin & Sting,
because it would be nice just to see Sting pick up the W. on his debut match
for AEW; with possibly someone new either to AEW or new into this feud
balancing the numbers out a little if any other members of Team Taz get
involved at some point or points; so theoretically and consequently in this
feud we would have two consistently active wrestlers with Sting pulling back a
little to a Manager type of position [don't worry I would still like him to be
active, but use him sparingly as it relates to matches] to go up against Team
Taz.
The Inner Circle's [Chris Jericho
& MJF with Wardlow] vs. the AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks
[Matt & Nick Jackson,] Tag Team Match for the AEW World Tag Team
Championships: my pick is Chris Jericho & MJF,
apologies for repeating myself a dusty finish to set up this kind of situation;
The Young Bucks, Death Triangle and The Inner Circle's [the AEW World Tag Team
Champions Chris Jericho & MJF with Wardlow] all feuding over these
Championships; yes please and thank you.
Jon Moxley vs. the AEW World Champion
Kenny Omega with Don Callis, Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch for the AEW World
championship: my pick is Kenny Omega, on some
research I have now watched a potentially similar match and stipulation Cactus
Jack vs. Terry Funk: Barbed Wire Exploding C4 Match] IWA King of the Deathmatch
Finals 20/10/95; Warning/Disclaimer; this is a little bit graphic
and if anyone should go searching for this I will not be held responsible. But
as it relates to here and now I have no doubt this match will bring down the
house; but if Moxley and Omega could keep in mind not to put themselves on the
shelf for too long due to injuries caused during this match, it would be
helpful; I am aware that there is going to be some damage inflicted in this
match, but at this point with AEW gathering momentum and really pushing forward
they can ill afford for one or both of these two individuals to be out
long-term and of course I don't want them to be out, but as it wrestling is a
simulated combat sport especially with in a nutshell
hard-core stipulations such as this one you run the risk of significant injury,
but finally there is so much more they could do with Omega and this Callis
situation hence why I don't see the Championship going anywhere any time soon.
