Rikishi Phatu vs. The Radicalz [Dean Malenko, Perry Saturn & Chris Benoit
with Eddie Guerrero:] Six-Man Tag Team Match
Match Attributes:
Match Quality: 7/10
Match Storyline: 7/10
Crowd Participation: 10/10
On Commentary: Jerry “The King"
Lawler & Jim Ross 5/10
Satisfying Conclusion: 6/10
Recommend Watch: 6/10
Match Total: 41/60 - this match is good.
Comments: because I have previously discuss this
already in this Pay-Per-View; I will just say this; Jerry “The King"
Lawler's commentary brings nothing positive to this match whatsoever.
But
is it me or have The Radicalz just been buried? I have been thinking about
this; yes the match design is good; but I have come to this conclusion based on
these three points. 1 this was their Pay-Per-View Debut The Commentary Team
inform me of this and talk about it, 2 based on this result and 3 like Tazz
they have all come from a rival Wrestling Promotion but this time [WCW; World
Championship Wrestling 1988-2001,] but Mr. McMahon purchased WCW in 2001 and
off the back of that we had the legendary terrible invasion angle of WCW &
ECW [The Alliance] vs. WWF.
They
are dark days in wrestling history indeed basically in Kayfabe Shane Purchased
WCW, Stephanie purchased ECW with Paul Heyman in the mix as well [The Alliance]
vs. Mr. McMahon [WWF;] if you were not born yet or were very young at the time;
this may sound like fun, but it quickly got old like two weeks in.
This
wasn't completely the WWF/WWE's fault, you see you had many established/iconic characters/performers
on very lucrative contracts with WCW and they preferred to sit out the rest of
their contracts or as it relates to Sting; he went to TNA; Total Nonstop Action
Wrestling now known as Impact Wrestling, because how the WWE treated Booker T.
situation/feud with The Rock, which is
fair enough, because as I have illustrated in this Pay-Per-View Mr. McMahon
likes or liked as it relates to the past to bury big name characters/performers
from their rivals and on a little bit of research just now in short in fairness
and balance Booker T. has a completely opposite take on this situation/feud
[which I partially like a pinch of salt get like working with The Rock was a
big thing.] But on a little bit more of research Sting; continuing in short there
were other guys on top of Booker T. and basically he just didn't trust Mr.
McMahon [which I can with 100% understand, based on I have been a fan of
wrestling for roughly three decades.]
Basic Result: Too Cool [Grand Master Sexay & Scotty 2 Hotty] &
Rikishi Phatu pick up the W. here.
