Match Total: 47/60 - this match is excellent

Comments: my rhetorical question remains why the hell is/was this match opening this Pay-Per-View? Especially when you have one of the most prestigious Championships in the Intercontinental Championship on the line.

I mean as you can tell from the attributes/marking of this match is highly rated and on top of that you have two young characters/performers in Swagger and Big E that either could have been as it relates to Swagger or still could be as it relates to Big E the present and the future of the WWE.

I just find it incredibly irritating that to see this amount of talent going to waste here; Swagger or better known by today in 2021 AEW's Jake Hager is doing much better, because as far as I'm concerned he brings his physicality to the ring and he is just a solid all round worker; you know what you get with him and from a Roster perspective it's important now and again just to have somebody that you know what you get from this individual and some point in the future they could put any Championship be it singles or other and he would elevate that Championship in question.

For Big E please, please, please WWE just do something with him I know he is currently the Intercontinental Champion [when this content was first made and yes I had to go and just make sure of this,] but I just have this feeling which I could be wrong but I don't think they are going to push him with this Championship to make this legendary and iconic Championship feel prestigious again or make him a potential future threat for the Universal Championship off the back of this Championship reign.

Basic Result: Big E Retains his Intercontinental Championship
