Chosen by you: I asked this; What
Pay-Per-View in decade do I review next? The result with 100% saying 2010+, so
consequently we now find ourselves here; thank you to everyone that voted.
Match/Stipulation: R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio: Singles Match
Match Attributes:
Match Quality: 7/10
Match Storyline: 6/10
Crowd Participation: 7/10
On Commentary: Michael Cole, Booker T., Josh Matthews &
Jerry "The King" Lawler 6/10
Satisfying Conclusion: 5/10
Recommend Watch: 3/10
Match Total: 34/60 - this match is
mixed; wow if this is how this Pay-Per-View is going to go we have a tough
journey ahead of us.
Comments: what a great idea to
have this Pay-Per-View to begin on some friction between Michael Cole and Jerry
"The King" Lawler [because at this point they were feuding, I will
discuss this more later on in this Pay-Per-View,] then to have this really
paint by numbers Heel promo by R-Truth [in his "Little Jimmy"
persona/gimmick,] then this aftermath between these two competitors. Basically
this is how you don't set the tone for your Pay-Per-View they may as well
have had this match on their regular scheduled programming; yes Rey
Mysterio doesn't have poor matches, he always seems to make something out of
what was given to him, so if you're wondering about the marking of the Recommend Watch category and attributes it is based on
everything in this opening segment; please tell me generally speaking it gets
better from here?
