In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW All Out 2019 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW All Out 2019 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: I will be making reference to AEW the TV program beginning October 2 when it is appropriate in this blog.

Private Party vs. Angelico & Jack Evans: my pick is Private Party, in short I have only seen a very tiny amount of this tag team online, but they have a big future in front of them as long as they don't sign with the WWE, they could go anywhere in the world just not there, unless they are heading towards their middle to late 40's or early 50's and want a big fat lucrative contract, by this point of their careers you couldn't blame them for taking a very large lucrative contract anyway, I am sure AEW would have something to say about it though, but as things are currently standing and have been this way for many, many, so many years by now the WWE they are the plague on tag team wrestling.

On a quick side point; before I receive any complaints or negativity what I have said about the WWE; here is a prediction for you; the Raw Tag Team Championships, are just being used as a stopgap/storyline device and nothing more, here is what I mean; I fully expect Rollins & Stroman to lose to Ziggler & Roode. Because of two reasons; the first being it is a quick, easy but very lazy way to create friction between these two characters/performers on the night and the WWE pretty much told us this new tag team are winning, based on they came out of nowhere to win this opportunity.

I mean on one hand it tells you exactly what the WWE think of this tag team division, when they just put two characters/performers together like this as in this; disrespect for everyone else in this division, but on the other hand if they are going to go this way there is potential in this team, it looks good as long as they are given time with these championships and including something of substance to do, I would really love to say something creative, but let's just start with something of substance and work from there, they could easily rebuild [I know it may help if this division was built in the first place, but let's just go with rebuild this division] off this tag team.

Casino Battle Royal Winner receives shot at AEW Women's World Championship on October 2: my pick is Jazz, just because she looks frightening in her new mask and why not use another established name with a younger talent, basically have another Chris Jericho vs. Hangmen Page situation, I mean briefly because I will discuss it more later on whatever road this company take in this situation they cannot lose, so as this company are still new I don't see the problem with using a similar scenario here.

Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt vs. SoCal Uncensored Six-Man Tag Team Match: my pick is Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy and Marko Stunt, briefly they may want to put over their younger talent just based on their TV program beginning soon.

Riho vs. Hikaru Shida Winner receives shot at AEW Women's World Championship on October 2: my pick is Riho, just because this company have used this character/performer in one way or another in every single pay-per-view up to this point, which indicates she is going to get a push or should indicate she is going to get a push.

Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc Three Way: my pick is Jimmy Havoc, well anyone could win this match and I would be happy, there is one thing missing from this match may be a No1 Contender's stipulation for the AEW World Championship.

Best Friends vs. The Dark Order Winner receives first round bye in AEW World Tag Team Championship Tournament: my pick is The Dark Order, in short to establish this faction; the most simple yet effective way is for them to go far in this tournament.

Cody vs. Shawn Spears: my pick is Shawn Spears briefly I expect Tully Blanchard to get involved somehow to contribute to Spears getting the W. to continue their feud on the TV program

The Young Bucks vs.
the AAA World Tag Team Champions The Lucha Brothers: my pick is The Young Bucks, now this is where again I would like to bring up about their TV program beginning very soon, so as it relates to this situation I am thinking they would like a Tag Team Championship on their first episode

Kenny Omega vs. PAC: my pick is PAC, now straight off the bat yes this match is going to be excellent, but towards the end I think it is going to be leaning towards more storytelling. I see in the future that Moxley will get involved somehow to cost Omega this match [I am not going from the angle of a Heel, I'm just using the character developments Moxley has already shown,] but it will get under Omega's skin [it will begin the mind games] and it will anger PAC, because he can do things on his own, so in the bigger picture you have Omega, Moxley and now PAC feuding with one another on their TV program and the upcoming pay-per-views. [I know Moxley has an infection, but I can't see them and him being left off this card completely,] even if it is just a quick distraction of some description and just for the record if it was any regular pay-per-view after they're TV programming has begun, I would say yes leave him out [unless it is their version of a big pay-per-view or pay per views,] but as this is the final pay-per-view before the TV program starts, give him something very limited to do even if it is just standing at the top of the ramp with or without his entrance music playing, just to course a distraction, but to keep him out of the ring and protected.

Chris Jericho vs. Hangman Page for the inaugural AEW World Championship: my pick is Chris Jericho, because of Jericho's commercial value I will go for him, it's something so important at the beginning of this wrestling company's history they just get as many non-wrestling and wrestling people talking about this company, I should just point out I can see Hangman Page being a future AEW World Champion, but for here and now Chris Jericho will get everyone talking about All Elite Wrestling. But either way they want to go with this very crucial choice they cannot lose, but as long as they back the choice, meaning their first champion needs to have a long reign, this should be aimed for at least over 100 days and go from there, so it makes this championship feel important straight out of the gate [and yes before someone points this out I am aware I have just done a very, very WWE thing, by saying the days instead of the months which would roughly be three months and a bit more, the days translation sounds better.

They could even sell T-shirts/merchandise with "The Reign Of Jericho Standing AT" [insert days here] and have the names of who he has defeated, how they were defeated with dates and the venues names on the back of the T-shirt/merchandise like a Tour T-shirt/merchandise, I mean after his reign they could make a second round of merchandise with "The First Reign Of Jericho Is Completed" with portraits of who he has defeated with a red cross going through the portrait, but minus the last portrait that defeats him and on the back you could have "The Second Coming Of Jericho Will Be Upon You Very Soon, I Have Unfinished Business!" Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 34: The Green Candle: Part I by AverageMansReviews

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 34: The Green Candle: Part I by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is top-notch entertainment

5 things about this episode

Storyline: the storyline is excellent; Tommy gets a narrative for some of this episode

Character developments/Comedy level: on both counts in this one sequence we have Tommy talking to Zack about Kimberly [the chemistry between Tommy and Zack is of support and encouragement to Tommy from Zack;] Zack showing Tommy how these moves/steps are meant to work, but however these moves/steps don't work out for Zack here.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: now once again on both counts these two elements have lots to offer this episode; be it this monster in one form or another, bringing so much carnage and destruction and these great camera shots and angles to capture everything or Tommy vs. Goldar one-on-one action sequences in Rita Repulsas' Dimensional Prison/Secret Dimension, whilst Tommy is here there are these magical shackles [hand shackles] being used, there has been a lot of creativity or imagination behind this episode for everyone to see and experience.

Bloopers: now in this blooper I am specifically talking about the camera shot and nothing else, because I understand the health and safety aspect and the performer that is a character known as Tommy is in real life a highly trained martial artist [in a nutshell this training exercise would be so easy for him.]

My point here is this; when Zack is holding this wood board for Tommy to perform this martial arts kick; because of this camera angle, the viewers can see that there has been something done for this wood board to break evenly [to cover my back this is just based on viewing and speculation,] because I don't know but it does look as if it has been tampered with. So basically they could have chosen a better camera angle to hide this in the first place. On closer research [replaying it; you can see this line going around this board where it would or could easily break into two sections.]

So what is the name of this place that Rita holds Tommy? Because we have both Dimensional Prison and Secret Dimension being used in this episode, Zordon says the first one while Jason says the other one at different point, basically pick a name and stick to it.

This episode receives: 10/10, as I have already said this episode is top-notch entertainment.

The Transformers 1984 -- 1987 [Season 2, Part 2, Volume 6, Disc 6] Episode 61: Cosmic Rust by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this is another excellent episode

Storyline/Back story: the storyline hits the ground running straight after the opening credits and the warning/poem is excellent and should be given high praise, moving on to the back story sequence it is informative and good as well.

Day/Night: the viewers get this variety in this episode which is a good little touch.

Character developments: in this one example there is good chemistry/friction between this Autobot [Perceptor] and Megatron you get a mixture of chemistry/friction [depending where you are in this scene is depending what you get.]

Artistic visions/Action sequences: the Autobots insignia on this planet it is large, it is certainly eye-catching you won't be able to miss it and for the action sequences have a excellent variety in them as well; be it a hostage-taking sequence or an air to air sequence or a potential explosive situation or something else.

This episode receives: 8/10, this episode from beginning to end as something to offer in one way or another.

Black Sea 2014/2015 by AverageMansReviews

Black Sea 2014/2015 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is poor.

Fundamental elements: there are words on screen, voice-over elements, cultural elements, background music, yes and no to subtitles being used when another language is being used, mental imagery, interpreter elements, time jumps and place jumps.

The movement of this project is very slow, I mean it goes on for roughly 114 minutes anyway, but it feels longer than that.

Storyline: generally speaking it is okay, but having said that I really don't like this ending style, it leaves things on a question-mark and after sitting through this project, not forgetting what I have just said in the previous section, I want a round ending for sitting through it.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: there are weapons being used and seeing these camera shots of the submarine underwater and this character/performer laying on this bunk bed [he is dead] let's just say his body looks as if it has taken some damage, when you see it; you will know what I mean these are good elements.

Comedy level: this is something for you to look out for/listen, it is about cleaning on a submarine.

Character developments/Performances: these character developments are a cliché of these characters/performers being from two different countries and they don't hide it or this being young thing, so there is chemistry/friction [depending where you are; is depending what you get.] Because of this consequently most of the characters/performers are a cliché of their character developments, there are only two performers I can point out that show something more and that would be Law and Dobrygin.

If this film didn't have Law it would have really struggled more, he does get a grip on this film in this submarine, so yes just for the record these character developments can be seen as a cliché, but with his performance he makes something with them. Dobrygin at some point in this title has good chemistry/friction with Law [when I say at some point this is by character design and he explains why.]

This film receives: 3/10, now I was going to give this film a higher mark but that was before the question-mark ending.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 33: The Yolk's on You! by AverageMansReviews

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 33: The Yolk's on You! by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is mixed

5 things about this episode

Storyline: generally speaking the storyline is okay, Tommy gets a narrative for some of this episode

Character developments/Comedy level: this monster for this episode; it is confusing. Because even though Finster [the creator of most of Rita Repulsa's monsters,] created this monster, this monster shows evidence of not being evil, so without giving too much away if The Power Rangers had what he wanted and given him what he wanted or anyone given him what he wanted, he would have possibly just gone away. Which leads on to a bigger question of a rhetorical nature [because we will never find out,] "Why would Finster design a character with such a massive character flaw in the first place?"

Moving on to the comedy level we have Bulk & Skull [involving Mr. Kaplan,] here's a rough description Bulk & Skull are behind this curtain/backstage they are doing something Mr. Kaplan goes up to them, he does question what they are doing here and by the end of this scene, Skull bangs these symbols together, Bulk and Mr. Kaplan give off the impression that they can feel the vibrations with Mr. Kaplan's toupee falling off. Whilst I'm here, I have updated a previous episode as it relates to Mr. Kaplan, because he wasn't just the Principal, he was also a Fill-in Teacher, I did look this up on someone else's material, I have no idea why I miss this or just didn't know it or something else, but it is here now and I have left the updated episode at the bottom of this review; Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 6: Food Fight.

Artistic visions/Action sequences: on both counts I can really appreciate the camera shots, where the audience are watching the Dragonzord and this monster battle it out and the viewers can see this dam and surrounding water, it is something subtle yet created.

This episode receives: 5/10, this monster character doesn't really bring too much to this episode, yes he does fulfil the basic requirements such as giving The Power Rangers a monster to destroy. But that is about it, he does complain or something to that effect and it is just there; it is that kind of thing, it is difficult to describe because of his character developments, I just don't want to seem too harsh really but what I can tell you is this; these character developments are weird, on a quick side note I would have greatly preferred Goldar or Scorpina or both to fulfil the monster role for this episode instead of this monster, yes you don't get destruction of a monster, but you know where you stand with Goldar or Scorpina or both of them.

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 9 by AverageMansReview

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 9 by AverageMansReview

WWE: well I left one comment about this company and AEW on social media "Can I just point out that #AEW don't care what the #WWE are doing so this suggestion of a pecking order is irrelevant, because the new kids on the block have already stated they are doing their own thing, so this statement is useless and a waste of time." [This is my own correspondence/materials so I can do what I want with it.]

But I will continue; the comeback I received from this was mostly negative, with the general consensus [so I am not quoting anyone here and the likes against me] that if AEW were doing  their own thing, they would not be bringing up the WWE, which I had been thinking about this of course they will bring up the WWE it's like talking about an elephant in the room, eventually everyone is going to talk about the elephant in the room [I will discuss this more later on.]

I have to say that I find it strange that most people seem to forget that the WWE are not that perfect, if you want me to be really honest they got incredibly lazy after WWE purchased WCW in 2001.

If I was the WWE in 2001, I would have been thinking "How can I slowly instigate a strategic stranglehold on professional wrestling/entertainment?" This is what I would have done, but before I continue remember these were "strategic stranglehold." So from 2002 until today I would have been offering any wrestling company a partnership of sorts, where these two companies [the WWE and another company] could share their wrestling talents or anything like this and the WWE can do this with another company, so we now have three wrestling companies all connected in one way or another.

Now for those people thinking "The WWE don't need these two other companies."This is true but however if you put these to other companies under the WWE umbrella of sorts, meaning they can run separate businesses and so on, they can even do business with one another, but here is something that would have worked out for the WWE long-term, you would specifically point out in a contract that whilst this wrestling company has a business relationship with the WWE, the business and the contents of the business on every single level cannot work with another wrestling company outside of the WWE umbrella and yes this goes for the performers as well [they could put in their contracts if they become free agents they are not allowed to work for any wrestling company for a period of four months in a country or place where there is a wrestling company under the WWE umbrella.]

I mean you could even have characters/performers floating between wrestling companies under the WWE umbrella. So if this was a thing when it came to 2019 and you had a new wrestling company trying to start out, they would already have a mountain to climb because the WWE would have this strategic stranglehold on wrestling, it just leaves one question yes the WWE would have less money than what they have now if they did this, but what would you rather have lots and lots and lots of money or lots of money with a strategic stranglehold on the wrestling business providing you can get enough wrestling companies to have a working relationship with [under the WWE umbrella,] so it is very much a case of work with us or against us that mentality

Back into reality; throughout the years they should have been making their product better and better [yes even though I have not watched their programming for some time,] but by all accounts it is improving but they should have been the trailblazers instead of making this women's revolution a complete sham they should be headlining their weekly programming on a consistent basis, headlining their pay-per-views on a consistent basis and slowly integrating women vs. men and on a quick side note have two Tag Team Division one each for men and women and make them competitive and thriving, so by doing this; it sends out a very strong message to any of their current or future competitors "We are the WWE we play hard and we fight harder!"I will predict right here and right now when Rousey comes back to the WWE; the women's revolution thing will start up again.

I get what they are doing with NXT, by taking it off The Network and putting it on TV, I get it and it makes sense, but does anyone else think this is on one side a little bit childish and on the other side incredibly risky considering NXT over many years has been the gold standard of the three brands in the WWE?

Now on to something slightly a bit different, I am not against the WWE but if you ever wondered why I am not overly positive about this company it boils down to two things; 1. They could do so much better with the things that they have at their disposal and 2. Whenever I am slightly positive or positive or absolutely anything like this they find a way to screw it up somehow, like I am expecting them to screw up Bray Wyatt "Firefly Funhouse" or “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt somewhere and somehow and yes I have seen his first match [The Fiend Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Bálor WWE SummerSlam 2019,] there is so much potential here that the possibilities are endless. I don't mean to have this mind set, but I have been exposed to this company for a long time and I have always been amazed how they screw things up in different ways.

Like for an example I am terrified of how NXT could turn out now it has moved to TV and extended by one hour, even though it is true I don't subscribe to The Network Triple H. has turned NXT into something that if the rest of their programming was of the standard the WWE would be untouchable and just for the record, the reason why I know this; is because NXT universally has been given incredibly high praise for a long time now.

So just based on these two examples; please, please WWE don't screw these up and it looks like I have to apologize to this company; Buddy Murphy had to stay off from TV to bulk up [I watched someone else's material to find this out.]

All Elite Wrestling: now on to this company, I was under the impression that this company were giving individual health insurance, but I was wrong I am just covering my back here just in case I have made reference to this before or not.

On more research now [after some head pointed this out to me] they don't give health insurance to their characters/performers, but they have something in place like the WWE, but this is the important difference; it feels like they want to change it; it may just take years, but their characters/performers are of the highest priority to them [and before I receive any comments or feedback, I am not saying that the WWE don't have the same opinion,] I'm just saying AEW making it clearly a very top priority.

Now I'm going to talk about the elephant in the room, as far as I'm concerned AEW can make any reference or anything like this about WWE and vice versa. Once again before I receive any complaints or feedback or anything, let me put things like this; many, many moons ago Manchester City were like AEW and Manchester United were like the WWE where Manchester City were like the noisy neighbours and the new kids on the block, but move forward to the present day there is still this rivalry which will never die, but Manchester City have established themselves in their own right and are doing their own thing. Basically I can see the same or something similar happening to AEW and the WWE [if I have any soccer fans/supporters reading this; this analogy came to me and it is something possible.]

There is only one thing I have left to say and I have no doubt it will infuriate some people out there, how much you may not want to hear this; the WWE needed someone like AEW to come along with their financial muscle and ambition to forced the WWE to wake up and I am aware that I am not the only one that thinks something similar to this. But it is true since AEW have been around the WWE has been forced to change, be it long-term and lucrative contracts for anyone who signs with them or re-signs with them or moving their third brand onto TV just to go head-to-head with AEW [yes as I have already said I am terrified what could happen to the third brand, but in this paragraph am talking about change.] So even though a AEW haven't been around that long they are slowly but surely changing the wrestling industry which can only be a good thing for everyone.

Last updated: Sunday 25/08/2019, I have updated this blog ever so slightly, but I was thinking I would also take the time to point out that I had indeed got rid of some of my material/correspondents to the situation at the top of this blog, I was wrong about the AEW health insurance thing and sometimes for some strange reason it irritates me when my contents on social media isn't up to my standards, it just depends what mind set I am in really

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 32: A Star Is Born by AverageMansReviews

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 32: A Star Is Born by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this is another good episode

5 things about this episode

Storyline: the best way I can think of; of describing the storyline is it is okay and then you get to later on [I am trying not to be too specific,] but you will know when things wake up, in fairness and balance there isn't anything wrong before this point but all I am saying is there is a strong noticeable difference between before and during what I am making reference to [which I will discuss more later on in this episode.]

Comedy level: Bulk & Skull in one way or another have consistent screen time, be it Bulk on his own or Bulk & Skull or Bulk & Skull with The Power Rangers [in their civilian attire.] Here is just one comedy element Bulk accidentally taking sun tan lotion in the face from Skull.

Character developments: Goldar gets put in charge for this episode

Action sequences/Artistic visions: now where I said earlier I will be discussing something more later on, so here we are on both counts these two elements make a massive impact on this episode, be it the creativity or imagination or anything other there is so much to see and to experience, that this episode just gets quicker and quicker with non-stop action. For one example again, the viewers can see the Dragonzord use his tail drill to release the Megazord/The Power Rangers from this cocoon.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode was drifting around another mark at some point watching this episode, but after everything is said and done I went for this one.

The Transformers 1984 -- 1987 [Season 2, Part 2, Volume 6, Disc 6] Episode 60: Trans-Europe Express by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is excellent

Storyline/Back story: this storyline at first looks like and feels like a solid yet good storyline, but the more you watch of it the more you realize that it has been designed to offer much more than you previously thought, with different characters in different locations within their own storyline segments, with the back story being an excellent touch [they all feed into the bigger picture.]

Comedy level: Megatron and Soundwave are looking for this individual, they crash through this wall of this home; they come to this man for information which he says something to the effect of "I will not tell you" with that Megatron says "I think you will" and then aims his Fusion Cannon at this TV and blows it away, which in turn this man tells Megatron precisely where this individual lives.

Character developments: this Race car Driver [Auggie Cahnay,] which let's just say when you first meet this man he is one of those people that will rub you up the wrong way and in one way or another some of these Autobots feel and get that impression as well; just to drop one Autobot's name here I will choose [Bumblebee.] But then again [Auggie Cahnay] behind this hard, incredibly hard attitude and personality; way, way, way behind this incredibly hard attitude and personality, this man will do something right and good. But as soon as he has done this good deed, the audience gets that impression he's rotating back behind his incredibly hard shell, so in short there is friction and chemistry here.

Action sequence/Artistic visions: I will choose this one example for both of these points, in this example we have a [Stunticon] Motormaster [in his transformed mode of Kenworth K100 Aerodyne sleeper truck,] which he jumps off from where he is which is some distance, behind Wheeljack to on Wheeljack's bonnet which he is [in his transformed mode of Lancia Stratos Turbo,] which leaves Wheeljack with massive damage and one massive headache; this small sequence is simple, yet very effective.

This episode receives: 8/10, from beginning to end this episode just gets better and better, to the point where this mark is deserved.

Cliffhanger 1993 by AverageMansReviews

Cliffhanger 1993 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is good

Fundamental elements: there are voice-over elements, background music, slow-motion effects, place jumps and time jumps.

Storyline: it is straightforward and the ending could have been something better, instead of this quick wrap-up ending/what happened next? This kind of ending; it could have been something like these three characters go and visit this character/performer's tombstone [from the start of the film roughly,] so it gives this film a full circle ending and these three characters/performers can move forward as individuals or in different numbers [from now on if I have to talk about the ending of the project in question I will put it here instead of in my final paragraph,] I don't know why I didn't think about it sooner, but I am doing it now.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: in short at first there are climbing sequences, weapons being used, combat and chasing. Now I am going to be a little bit more specific we have two sequences involving a rescue helicopter or two planes transferring in mid-air or an under the ice/water action sequence and imaginative and creative tiny spike scene.

Moving on to the artistic visions now there are two occasions where we have two different characters/performers and the viewers can see their line of sight [look for when this character/performer has this breathing apparatus thing on and the second is where this other character/performer has these night vision goggles.]

The pile of snow with eyes [this will make sense when you watch this film,] you also have bats, a wolf's eyes on screen, followed by them going to investigate the food source, but unfortunately for them they get chased off and there is this rabbit as well.

Character developments/Performances: on both counts they are something safe and reliable and the performances are a reflection of the character developments.

This film receives: 6/10, this mark is a fair reflection of this title

The Transformers 1984 -- 1987 [Season 2, Part 2, Volume 6, Disc 6] Episode 59: War Dawn by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is top-notch entertainment

Origin storylines/Back storys/Storyline: now without giving too much away, the origin storylines and the back storys tells/shows just a little bit but important elements of how this situation came to be between the Autobots and the Decepticons. The storyline [based in the present day] is good as well.

Character developments: well because there are two origin storylines [the audience gets to see one in parts in short the death of one and the birth of another and hear of another death and birth of another character,] there are character developments here. But on top of that there is friction/chemistry between the Decepticons and the Decepticons [internally,] the Aerialbots and the Decepticons, the Aerialbots and the Autobots, I will take you through one example a little bit more closely, now internally the Aerialbots ; as their commander/leader Silverbolt says things and has a different opinion to the rest of them, but as they say"Knowledge is power"; I should just point out it depends where you are in this episode is depending what you get be it; chemistry or friction and just before someone points this out yes we get friction between the Autobots and the Decepticons.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: the Decepticons [Starscream,Skywarp and Thundercracker] vs. the Aerialbots air to air action/rescue sequence this sequence is a smooth yet simple yet a creative action sequence. Moving on to the artistic visions, they are elegant to show what Cybertron used to look like before this planet got decimated by this Civil War.

This episode receives: 10/10, as I have already said this episode is top-notch entertainment. On a quick side note, this character talks about the ability to fly [as he cannot do it,] but some time later he does this little flying dive thing, more importantly there is this flashing effect when this explosion happens, this is just a friendly heads up.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 31: Calamity Kimberly by AverageMansReviews

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 1,] Episode 31: Calamity Kimberly by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this is another good episode

5 things about this episode

Storyline: in short it is good.

Comedy level: Bulk & Skull have this scene [involving Kimberly and Tommy,] where Bulk takes a tiny journey across this wet floor after being thrown by Tommy and his head ending up in this yellow bucket/container with wheels that you can use a mop to mop up messy situation or just to clean.

Artistic visions/Action sequences: on both counts, when we have this monster and Goldar taking on these Zords be it singly or in different combinations including when these action sequences get split down into this monster taking on the Dragonzord Battle Mode whilst Jason/The Red Power Ranger in the cockpit of the Tyrannosaurus Dinozord is taking on Goldar, there is a lot of creativity and imagination to be seen and experienced in this section and the monster for this episode deserves a quick mention as this monster with his accessories [weapons and this massive jar] looks imaginative as well.

Bloopers: now this may sound like something which is very small, but it isn't when you are trying to dictate a review; it would really help the situation if they stuck to their names of their Zords/Combinations, I am going to clear this up right here and right now I know I have mentioned it in previous episodes in one way or another, but this is the final time I will be bringing this up if I can help it. Dragonzord Battle Mode [which for some strange reason also has the name Mega Dragonzord, which is a completely different combination.] Mega Dragonzord has a different name [Ultra Dragonzord] and just to finish off the confusion Jason/The Red Power Ranger says " Dragonzord Fighting Mode" when he should have said " Dragonzord Battle Mode" in this episode and regardless of what words they are using I will be moving forward with these proper names whenever it is appropriate [yes I have left the previous episodes alone, that was then this is now it is one of those kind of things, they make sense but I just decided to clear the air now and you may have noticed throughout the years in my blogs I like simple yet effective structure in my blogs] and on a quick side note I did look these up again, I don't take credit for anyone else's material or contents or anything and I will leave the episodes I am making reference to at the bottom of this blog

This episode receives: 7/10, because of the artistic visions/action sequences being eye-catching and very hard-hitting I had to reward this episode with a higher mark then what I was going to.
