BraveStarr: The Legend 1988 by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this film is excellent
Origin storylines/Storyline: at the
beginning of this film and the opening section to this project, the audience
gets given the origin storylines on many characters at some point and the
storyline itself is good.
Voice-overs/Talking/Time jump/
Background music/Fundamental core: there are voice-overs being used in some scenes; the next element
comes from one character talking to another character as he sleeps in this human
capsule and there are other scenes where this character just talks [possibly
sending a message to the main evildoer that kind of thing, I should just point
out I could be wrong but it does have that feeling of he is trying to send a
message in one scene or sequence or just talking to himself or gives a warning
or trying to get the same character from the human capsule to remember his
history [more origin storyline, ] but to be fair to myself when or if you come
to watch this film this will all make sense.] The time jump is easy to see, for
one example these characters do age, moving on I don't find the background
music to be irritating but it is worthwhile me mentioning the fact that you
know [as an audience member] it is there. The fundamental core to this title
well from beginning to end it knows what it wants to do and it just gets on
with it.
Cultural elements: firstly the
cultural elements are easy to see but alongside that we have this cultural
divide as it relates to the Prairie People and what most people think of them.
Abilities/Spiritual elements/Science-fiction elements/
Action sequences: I am not going to
go on and on about this; but the abilities of our lead character are very good
and interesting, I have always seen these abilities or gifts having spiritual
elements to them. The science-fiction elements are well shown in this title, it
could be some of the characters or vehicles or anything else really, next up
the action sequences, they are highly entertaining with many things happening within
them, sometimes using combat sequences or weapons or sorcery or magic powers or
our lead characters abilities’ or something else.
Artistic visions/Character developments: well as it relates to the artistic visions, this project is easy to
settle down with, because they take the viewer or viewers from our world into
their world, I like how the main and supporting characters [good or evildoers]
have something about them to make themselves stand out in one way or another.
This film receives: 80% approval, this
project is excellent fun.
