He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 9] Episode 57:
Castle of Heroes by AverageMansReviews
Review Time: this episode is excellent but it does have some
downsides as well.
Cringer/Battle Cat: these two characters are not in this
episode [yes I am aware that if you don't have Cringer, you are not going to
see Battle Cat either.]
Skeletor: he has a friend or another ally in this episode, in some scenes they
are casually having a drink whilst talking about the olden times and Skeletor's
current situation as it relates to He-Man.
Action sequences: they are many and in one way or
another they are all different [to test He-Man and his abilities,] for one
example he has to put out this forest fire, so he releases this nearby water
supply and does this double punch thing onto the ground or near to the water,
so doing this the water jumps over him and onto this forest fire behind him, he
even has time to put this water supply back just the way it was before he used
it.
Ending message: to be honest this ending message isn't so clean
cut, it briefly talks about history in books and that is it [maybe it is trying
to say "Once in a while pick up a book" I don't know, but what I do
know is this; it talks about history in books and in a nutshell, it is vague
about its message.
This episode receives: 88% approval, there are many excellent
elements to this episode like for an example Skeletor has been given this
watching role [don't worry he does get involved at some stages,] but without
telling you to much he is sitting on his throne talking to another character
whilst watching this adventure unfold [this is a very interesting element to
this episode.] But I am not happy with there being no Cringer or Battle Cat but
instead we have Orko which is not cool.
