The Rugrats Movie 1998 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this film is good.

Musical/Background music elements: these elements are really quite annoying, when they are in effect it just makes this film much less enjoyable, in a nutshell these elements are most definitely a major downer to this adventure.

Storyline/Dialogue exchanges: it has a good idea of what it is doing from beginning to end and I have to say [without saying too much,] that it is a simple yet great way to bring a new character into this franchise. The dialogue exchanges between Tommy, Chuckie, Phil and Lil on how things are changing are really interesting, because they are being mostly sensible with their points of views including their actions as well. I did say mostly sensible based on the fact, their dialogue exchanges and actions at some stages throughout this project will remind the viewers, that these 4 characters are still young themselves.

Artistic visions: the artistic visions throughout this project are firstly colourful and secondly, it will take the viewers from our world into their world, there is always something to see or to experience whilst watching this project, especially when this film spends time in the Forest section of this film with more different flavours, textures and things to see.

This film receives: 70% approval, now taking everything into consideration I do think this film deserves this percentage, because the storyline is a good adventure, it also has many things to do such as character developments, keep the film moving forward at a decent speed and many other things, but having said that the music or musical elements are a big No for me, I mean the audience has many good things happening and then the musical elements just pop in and out, how can I put this nicely; these elements just unsettle the balance of this film consistently, it's like this film is moving nicely forward one moment and the next moment it has been knocked off its stride, it does find itself repeatedly again and again [after every musical element,] but generally speaking it is quite annoying to see it happen again and again and again and so on and so forth.
