Review Time: this film is the basic action, revenge film title
and there isn't much more to this project than that really.
Action sequences: there are many quick moving sequences,
be it running or in a vehicle with hand-to-hand combat sequences or plenty of
weapons being used.
Liam Neeson, Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen: all
have a good chemistry on screen, the dialogue exchanges are free-flowing and it
is easy to keep up with whatever is happening in this project at every stage.
Subtitles: they just about do their job; they are not the best
subtitles I have ever seen.
This film receives: 60% approval, I know this may look like
a small review, but it is one of those occasions where I have pretty much
summed up everything without saying too much, this title is one of those film
titles that knows what it is doing from beginning to end and there isn't much I
can add to that, other than I can say this "Though this film title is a
basic sequel which covers what it needs to cover and not forgetting to mature
the returning characters a little as it relates to their ages, this sequel
doesn't have too many fresh elements or ideas to it."
