He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 83 -- 85 [Volume 5] Episode 28: The Defection by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is really boring, I can give you 3 reasons why this is; there is no Skeletor, Orko is extremely irritating in everything he says or does and the ending message is basically the storyline for this episode.

Action sequences: these elements to this episode are good when they are in effect; they have a good variety in them throughout this episode.

Evil-Lyn: this character gets put in a supporting role, behind another evildoer and on reflection she should have been given another episode in the lead role position, it would have made better sense to do so and consequently if this had happened, this episode would have [there is no question about it,] would have been given a better percentage of approval from me.

Ending message: basically it is about people can change, all you have to say is "I can do it" or something to that effect. But as the storyline really leans on this point in this episode, I really did switch off whilst watching this episode.

This episode receives: 10% approval, yes the action-packed sequences are good, but everything else in this episode I could give it a miss and yes even Evil-Lyn looks weak eventually.
