Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/stabbing/impaling/decomposing/dismemberment/cutting/caving in/bodily functions/burning. As a common courtesy I will just say that this project is completely religious-based.

conceptual: basically; Mr. Read [Hugh Grant:] is a highly intelligent individuals that has been studying religion for a long time now, he would like to learn more about Mormons, so Sister Barnes and Sister Paxton [Sophie Thatcher & Chloe East:] they are two missionaries that have come to visit Mr Reed to discuss things with him from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 110 minutes from is good as this project is predominantly dialogue exchanges it, the framework and pacing just has to keep things mobile things.

Script, character developments, comedy and performances; this film explores the concept/conceptual of religion of many types and consequently its believers/followers as this project will simply show by the usage of the idea that many people had played the board game Monopoly, where you can get many different versions of this board game [religions] but you/us have to go all the way back to the beginning to another board game which Monopoly is based on to get the original; with the concept of their just being one board game which sprouted off these many different versions [religions.] I usually don't give heavy amounts of the script away but in this case; it is easier for me to point out something physical for you to watch if or when you go to see this film or see this film generally and obviously you can understand the concept of Monopoly.

But however for me this concept can also be used and adapted to even more modern ideologies such as in particular social media, the belief of one person regardless of it being true or not is in this case irrelevant, because we are talking about belief so for an example regardless if I believe that having Donald Trump back in the White House would be terrible for not only the US but the world at large; regardless of if he is by US law a convicted felon which based on fact also disqualifies you from voting and taking away women's rights and so on and so forth, his followers/supporters believe without question he is the right person for the job, even if he was saved by god or as I have illustrated why couldn't it have been satan? [In the connecting content] as you can clearly see it is all about ideologies, belief and control generally speaking I just chose Trump, because he is of modern times, but by and large social media has become the new religion, aligning yourself with people with the same ideologies and hating those that don't share your precise ideologies, for myself I have my own self values which I have picked up as I have a throughout life, which I'm sure there is some of you out there that our roughly the same.

The character developments are really well designed as we have two missionaries that believe in their beliefs and architectural to put it across versus somebody that in one way or another wants to challenge those beliefs with also cognitive, verbal understanding of what he is saying and doing with options, there is little bits of comedy in the dialogue exchanges; they could have done with a little bit more as it shows that Mr. Read mentally has the capacity to be mentally much quicker than what he is showing on a consistent basis; it would have flushed his character a bit more, it most definitely feels like a missed opportunity. Obviously this trio of performance create this articulate/debating chemistry with a no limits constructed by Mr. Read/Grant; this trio of performances should at the very least be nominated for many positive awards as it relates to supporting roles or/and leading role; Grant should be up for in my opinion up for an Academy Award Oscar Nominee in the leading role category for this film.

Art and action; the set designs and let's just go with Mr. Read's passion project is beautifully crafted and likewise the action sequences have been excellently thought out.

This film receives: 9/10, this film is excellent; if you have any open and wide mind, you will see this film as a conceptual film about religion without disrespecting any of them and usually I wouldn't rag on other film goer, but at the end of the film I saw/heard these two women basically say that this film has some kind of plot and even before I get the old expression; each to their own and all that kind of thing, I get it. But at the same time; on average if I had to guess they were in their mid-20s and I am in my early 40s. I said to the person I watch some of this content with what these two women had to say with the additional I am pretty sure when I was in their age range, I wasn't so clueless? This individual confirmed that I wasn't and just for the record this individual said; this film was weird, but I liked it.

The reason why I am saying all of this is; there is so much happening in this film, but and this is nothing against the film; but it doesn't feed you, if you see with your brain, mind, hearing and eyes you will understand the contents of this film.
