When Donald met Rory: briefly; this film takes us through the rise of Donald Trump [Sebastien Stan:] he is currently working for his family's business The Trump Organization that where having let's just say legal problems. So Donald goes to seek this individual by the name of Roy Cohn [Jeremy Strong:] he is a lawyer and a prosecutor, basically he is a fix it guy and this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Generally speaking: art, framework and pacing; because this film is a biography and we have this clear go through the decades approach of the 1970's and beyond which is chaotically yet beautifully shown, which in turn gives this film; a sense of up and go, which makes the framework and pacing on the whole upwardly mobile broadly speaking, because without nitpicking too much some parts of the film are better than others, but on the whole it does try to have flowed throughout of this 123 minute film.

Character developments, performances and comedy; on both counts for most parts they are all good and good versions of what they are meant to be combined with good performances that reflect that. But however the performances that clearly stood out for me was; Sebastian Stan as Donald Trump and Jeremy Strong as Roy Cohn; as they individually and/or together understood they characters and what was required to become the best interpretations of these individuals as best they could. Full disclosure I don't know anything about Roy Cohn, but if anyone can take a lump of clay such as Donald Trump and essentially mould them into his own image, but then surpass his master then you can guarantee that Cohn was a snake. Individually Stan and/or Strong should be looking at Academy Award Oscar at minimum nominees for Stan Best lead role or something to that effect and Strong should be nominated in the supporting role category and yes if you were wondering Stan does eventually put on Trump's mannerisms that have became associated with Trump; but they are done fluent nature and accuracy; because of this even though it is done in all seriousness it is a little bit funny and there are some other tiny bits of comedy, it is just I can't put them in this content.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; now I'm going to say something a bit different here, most of you won't go and see this film in America, because it doesn't exactly show Trump in the best light. In fact the box office takings tell me that most of you won't have the great fruits to go and see this film, because based on a budget of $16 million it is only taken over $4 million and this film has been out roughly in the US for five days when this content was first created, other countries vary on date of release. But it shows Trump even originally not being the brightest bulb in the box or when he gets much older still not being the brightest bulb in the box, yet when this content gets released this individual may indeed be your President again, so on behalf of my country the UK; let me just say you allowed Donald Trump in the White House twice: are you feeling okay? Because at least Ronald McDonald looks like a clown and is a clown, but surely he would be better than the clown you have put back in holding the nuclear ball for another four years; well done [if you can't tell; when someone is being sarcastic I can reassure you I am being very sarcastic here.] But if you want to learn how Donald Trump became Donald Trump take a look at this film. This film has 1 Nominee accredited to its name Cannes Film Festival 2024 Palme d'Or Ali Abbasi [the director of this film]
