Recommendation of: WWE SummerSlam 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Recommendation of: WWE SummerSlam 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Introducing new content: straight off the bat I will be doing this when I can, because yes I watched this live so it will have to fit in around me. I will be vague on aspects or miss out things depending on my discretion hence the word “Recommendation."

Warning: there is flashing/colourful effects throughout

Becky Lynch vs. Champ Bianca Belair; Singles Match for the WWE Women's Raw Championship: this match/match slot was on the whole excellent, there was a few untidy moments or you know transitional fluency issues, but this section of this pay-per-view does what it is designed to do and that is kick things off in the right tone and manner and not forgetting loud as well; this match/match slot receives: 9/10.[Additional: on Monday 01/08/2022 it was going around that Lynch had suffered her shoulder popping out during this match, I was thinking I would just add this to be fair and balanced, it has been reported that she suffered the injury somewhere around landing badly after a Glam Slam.]

Logan Paul vs. The Miz [with Maryse & Ciampa;] Singles Match: like him or hate him Logan Paul can wrestle, the WWE may have to work on with him about kayfabe Babyface or Heel, I have heard reports that some audiences just want to boo him, but here they were cheering him. I would continue putting Paul in matches where there are experienced performers around him for a little while yes he can wrestle, but just in case something doesn't go according be it something minor or major just put him with established performers that way you can learn on the job as well: this match/match slot receives: 9/10.

Theory vs. Champ Bobby Lashley; Singles Match for the WWE United States Championship: full disclosure I pressed on something so they missed a bit of the entrances. But this match/match slot almost put me to sleep, this is the first time I have seen Theory and man he is so boring, can we now give Lashley something better to do: this match/match slot receives 6/10.

The Mysterios [Ray & Dominik Mysterio] vs. The Judgment Day [Damian Priest & Finn Bálor with Rhea Ripley;] No Disqualification Tag Team Match: let's be positive this match/match slot goes how you expect it to go, but at least it woke me up again: this match/match slot receives: 8/10.

Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin; Singles Match: this match/match slot is good, McAfee is a good little wrestler, but likewise this was putting me to sleep: this match receives: 6/10.

The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] vs. Champs The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso;] Tag Match for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships, Jeff Jarrett as the Special Guest Referee: to be honest I was beginning to feel the effects of this pay-per-view, because of the previous match, generally speaking it was good, but hopefully we should see some more tag teams come up or through to fill out this division a bit: this match/match slot receives: 7/10.

Ronda Rousey vs. Champ Liv Morgan; Singles Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: I woke up again, this match was excellent, but I had to take a mark off for this fair reason. They had very recently done this angle in another championship match on the main roster, so it was way, way too early to do something similar in this match; this match/match slot receives 7/10.

Brock Lesnar vs. Champ Roman Reigns [with Paul Heyman;] Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: this match/match slot had everything in it and in all rights should be at the very least in the conversation of wrestling match of the year for 2022. But please WWE leave this match/feud go now, you have given it a perfect sendoff so don't spoil it, I mean years upon years down the line if these two wanted their final match in wrestling to be against one another than that should be the only reason that you would be entertaining this match again or something completely insane like a fatal four way with these two, The Rock and John Cena for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship: This match/match slot receives 10/10.

The average mark for this pay-per-view is: 8/10, yes I have chosen the mark which is without complicating it too much mostly around this mark. This was a clear statement by the new regime of this empire that they are going to do things differently, by working with their universe/fan base and not against them and considering I chose to do this with maybe a couple of hours notice things went well for the first time out.

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE SummerSlam 2022 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE SummerSlam 2022 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: I am so not interested in this pay-per-view other than The Mysterios [Ray & Dominik Mysterio] vs. The Judgment Day [Damian Priest & Finn Bálor with Rhea Ripley;] No Disqualification Tag Team Match Heavy speculation on my part Edge returns heavy speculation on my part again Seth Rollins to face a mystery opponent and the women's matches that is it. This is meant to be one of the big pay-per-views which the WWE has to offer on a yearly basis or it should be, instead it is nothing but a joke. Additional 90% of this was dictated before Mr McMahon's retirement and a reshuffle a little bit as well.

Heavily speculation on my part; The Mysterios [Ray & Dominik Mysterio] vs. The Judgment Day [Damian Priest and Finn Bálor with Rhea Ripley;] No Disqualification Tag Team Match: my pick is The Mysterios [Ray & Dominik Mysterio.] With a returning Edge seeking revenge on his previous faction/stable. I am not saying he is there to side with the Mysterios, so it is by consequence of him seeking revenge he inadvertently helps them to pick up the W. I mean as I have already referenced I know Mr McMahon has retired, but before this and I am paraphrasing here when the hierarchy doesn't like the look of this card; on one hand they are expecting people to at minimum watch this pay-per-view event which this is meant to be likewise as I have already referenced one of your big pay-per-views of the year. So on the other hand give them something to write home about; an Edge return is a noteworthy event or if they don't do it here I can see them possibly doing it on 01/08/2022 Monday's Raw.

Heavy speculation on my part again; Seth Rollins vs. Mystery opponent; Singles Match: my pick is the Mystery opponent: as it relates to this match I have seen enough online which is very little but enough to say that Seth stands a good chance to be on this card with how things are going down as in between him and Triple H this seems to be a kayfable angle going on here.

Logan Paul vs. The Miz [with Ciampa;] Singles Match: my pick is Logan Paul. Because he has recently signed a multi-year deal with this wrestling promotion. This match will be designed to put Paul over in one way or another and let's be honest if you're going to be put over The Miz will do that with great ease or I have just had a secondary idea, someone will come down to save Logan to set up a tag match at next the pay-per-view, so it will be and The Miz & Ciampa [this is a waste of Ciampa; he should be doing his own thing] vs. Logan Paul & Partner, but for here and now like I have already said Paul is going over here.

Becky Lynch vs. Champ Bianca Belair; Singles Match for the WWE Women's Raw Championship: my pick is Bianca Belair. Now there could be a lot said either way here. Belair goes over here it tells me that this company still see her as the next generation which is excellent, but after this they will have to give her some new blood or it could go the other way Lynch picks up this championship and they go in a completely different direction better known as the status quo, but whatever the case may be; I am just hoping that the hierarchy down squash Belair again or anything like this, I would prefer her to go down as a fighting champion, so that she is in good shape without the championship, it is just dawned on me please don't do a dusty finish where Lynch picks up the championship, yes this would in essence protect Belair from the loss, but on one of the biggest stages I would prefer as I have just referenced to go down fighting as a champion.

Ronda Rousey vs. Champ Liv Morgan; Singles Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: my pick is Liv Morgan. I know and understand that Rousy wanted to make Morgan Champion at the last pay-per-view which is commendable. The only problem I have with this match here is I can see Mr McMahon pushing back and putting the championship back on Rousey which in turn would make Morgan a transitional champion, as you can see by my pick I am hoping I am wrong about this.

The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] vs. Champs The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso;] Tag Match for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships, Jeff Jarrett as the Special Guest Referee: My pick is The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford.] If this goes how I think this match layout is going to be, basically The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] are going to have Jarrett as their new manager [Additional especially now  what happened on 29/07/2022 where Jey super kick Jeff,] protecting The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso] from the loss and I do understand that the hierarchy of this company want to split up The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford] sometime down the line so when they want to pull the trigger on this they could always have Jarrett so the seeds of mistrust and then finally they could just turn on Angelo Dawkins; yes this is all speculation, but at the same time I am just trying to work out why Jarrett is being booked in this match as well and just the record I am aware that this wrestling promotion doesn't like doing long-term booking, but I am of the experience dealing with this company, if they want something to happen they will make it happen.

Theory vs.Champ Bobby Lashley; Singles Match for the WWE United States Championship: my pick is Bobby Lashley. I just don't care about this match; no they really don't care give Bobby Lashley better material and opponents to work with instead of Mr McMahon's pet project.

Pat McAfee vs. Happy Corbin; Singles Match: my pick is Pat McAfee. I don't care who is very little value in having this match.

Brock Lesnar vs. Champ Roman Reigns [Paul Heyman;] Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: my pick is I just don't care, no I really don't give a flying fudge. Either outcome or any outcome doesn't appeal to me I don't see Theory cash-in his Money in the Bank Briefcase Contract Opportunity or he shouldn't, not at this shower of garbage other pay-per-view. But if I really, really, well and truly have to pick somebody I will go with Roman Reigns. You see just based on this match either outcome we have a part-time champion. I mean to make this match more interesting what they should do is include the audience, as in the last audience member standing from boredom should be the new champion.

I don't usually indulge too much in speculation, but as it relates to here and now and Saturday night and stand a good chance of being 50% right and I would prefer to put things in before this pay-per-view obviously there is always the possibility I could be wrong on one or both which in that case I will take these bits out if I feel it is appropriate to do so.

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy [Season 1,] Episode 6: Mask of Terror by AverageMansReviews

Ultimate Muscle: The Kinnikuman Legacy [Season 1,] Episode 6: Mask of Terror by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/transformation/bodily functions

Introducing our commentary team: Characters [Character developments,] Storyline, Comedy and Art; Mac Metaphor, speculation he looks like a parody of Michael Cole from the WWE [World Wrestling Entertainment,] on top of the commentary he does the Intergalactic Wrestling Federation Updates at the beginning of most of these episodes, meaning if there is to be one he will do it [recap; voice-over previous events with a company scenes, if there is one.] His commentary partner is "Doc" Nakano, because I really want to be nice I don't know if this character was meant to be AEW [All Elite Wrestling's] Jim Ross, yes I know at this point in the early 2000's good old JR would have been with the WWE, but I digress you see you can see the similarities hence the word parody of Mac and Michael so even if I am wrong it is easy to justify. But "Doc" has the Asian equivalent of what Jim Ross may look like if he was Asian with glasses, but as you will find out in this episode he is completely bold and he wears a toupee which he does show and make a comedy reference to it "Speaking of scalpers this is a low price toupee" [he lifts up his toupee; to show his complete boldness. But like Jim Ross "Doc" is very knowledgeable about wrestling which mixed in with the vague appearance similarities and his knowledge this leads me to think this was meant to be an interpretation of Jim Ross minus the cowboy hat and finally I should just point out these two commentators look very different yet vaguely similar between their English and their Asian counterparts  just based on  some pictures I have seen which As you can tell who they are meant to be but they have received a massive upgrade.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; because this TV series sets ridiculously high standards, by its own standards this episode is good.

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 41 by AverageMansReview

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 41 by AverageMansReview

Just a heads up: I will not be discussing the Mr McMahon situation here at heart, don't worry I will be covering it at some point but I am just going to wait a little while for things to reveal themselves fully and just taking two seconds to think about it I may deliberately just focus on that topic and nothing else in another Volume, because let's be honest it is a colossal situation and in this Volume I will be discussing both promotions at the same time.

WWE & All Elite Wrestling: because of the Mr McMahon situation, the new era is dawning over not just the WWE but the wrestling industry as a whole. The triangle of Nick Kahn President of WWE & Co-Chief Executive Officer of WWE, Stephanie McMahon [Chairwoman & Co-Chief Executive Officer of WWE and Triple H a.k.a. Paul Levesque [Vice President of Talent Relations & Head of Creative.]

Now between them they have a lot of work to do repairing the systemic and long-term issues of the previous regime, this is just speculation/my opinion I think what they will do of what I've heard as well is make an big impact just to say subliminally "We are/we want to make changes and we will, but for now here is something for you to get your teeth into, but also give us time." Which if you have been following me long enough you know I haven't been liked the majority of this promotion for many, many years minus the legendary Black and Gold brand of NXT [2012-2021,] full disclosure I only mainly heard of it and its reputation and watched so far 2 pay-per-views on it which was under the leadership of Triple H and after his major health Scare [a cardiac arrest in September 2021]I don't want to see him do everything so I should imagine he will keep an eye on NXT, but leave his best friend Shawn Michaels, in control of NXT 2.0. But likewise I should imagine as the second coming of NXT isn't doing that well, they may take this opportunity to change this as well.

I would suggest to them to do something funny like have Triple H [carrying this black bag with something in it] and Stephanie McMahon at WWE SummerSlam, come down to the ring with a trash container where we see Stephanie getting the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships out of this trash container. Triple H opens up this bag to reveal the WWE 24/7 Championship which he throws this in this trash container and if health and safety permitted set it on fire. You see this small token would on one hand be funny but on the other hand it would send a strong message to go “There is a place for women's wrestling here and sorry about this stupid idea."

Moving on it should be noted that even I am going to give this new era time,I mean I was one of those people that were calling for Mr McMahon to step down and Triple H to take over, I am not expecting sudden miracles, but then I am sure they will do this but now and again little things to say or indicate they are making slow progress, I now do believe and I am not in the wrestling community just very much on the outskirts that Bray Wyatt will re-sign with the WWE and anyone else that they want to bring back.

I am not the only one that has said this before but WWE or AEW don't need a mid-season break, what they need is better scheduling as in don't have the same characters/performers/wrestlers doing back-to-back wrestling, even if the wrestlers themselves are saying they are fine, maybe they can do some on-screen work or have a week off and just rotate people in and out, treat your wrestlers like any other sport and I know wrestling is a sport it is just simulated combat. This paragraph is based on the old-age argument of a mid-season break again after both of these wrestling company's in particular have long injury lists. This would be easier or AEW to put in place based on the grounds they have more championships, so the champion's can be rotated in and out.

I am not turning on AEW, because I like them but I would be an idiot if I didn't acknowledge this wrestling promotion is most definitely having problems; straight off the bat if the WWE did this I would be tearing them a new butt hole I have either seen online or actually watched Christian's heel promos for an example reference to Jeff Hardy's situation [I have made my feelings known about Jeff Hardy's situation as in how many more chances does he want,] but these heel promos are quickly becoming one step too far. In fact if I was to be completely honest here if I was a WWE fan of the hard-core variety I would be asking this; what is the difference between what MJF said in that pipe bomb promo [which we haven't seen him for some time] and what Christian is saying in his? Yes and I do know the difference between kayfabe/breaking it, shoot and work. But surely they are both toxic?

Unfortunately we now come on to a main problem with this company; it is unfortunate that they have had major injuries to key wrestlers, but consequently it does show that without these names for long spells and full disclosure again I know I'm not the only one that has said this, but they are stuck in this holding pattern. Which should not be the case based on the grounds that AEW used to use younger talent to push forward with and for some reason they have somewhat moved away from that model, don't get me wrong, they still do the younger talent thing, which if they had stayed focused on this and they would have been able to somewhat deal with this unforeseen situation better than what they have or just to cover my back if they have younger talent on their programming which is not on UK TV programming, but show talent or if it was younger talent on an AEW contract anyway why didn't they push more through to show us what they can do and to get away from this holding pattern thing going on, I am aware that they had to focus on pay-per-views or their miniature pay-per-views TV programming, but I hope they have learnt from unfortunately being in this situation with many injuries to try and handle things better next time or make it a ever present thing just using younger talent so they get more experienced and consequently when someone goes down with an injury the younger talent can take the opportunity.

On top of this you have another main problem of ROH including the Jonathan Gresham situation which if it is how things are going for anyone to go to the management three; they will have to seriously sort this out and quick, because the talent deserves better.

I just get the feeling that 2022 has been a steep learning curve for AEW, so there is lots to work on like the WWE, but if AEW don't address these problems and others then these problems will just grow and get out of hand, so let's hope things don't get that far.

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE SummerSlam 31/08/1992 Match 6 Part 6 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWF/WWE SummerSlam 31/08/1992 Match 6 Part 6 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects. Disclaimer: I have never been or are likely to be a professional wrestler.

Match/Stipulations: Ultimate Maniacs' The Ultimate Warrior vs. Ultimate Maniacs' the WWF Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage; Singles match for the WWF Championship; with Mr. Perfect being in somebody's corner.

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 7/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: King Bobby "The Brain" Heenan & Vince McMahon 8/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 8/10

Match Total: 47/60 - this match is excellent.

Comments: Heenan on commentary is trying to find out what is happening with Mr. Perfect. Have Vince McMahon calls a move Reverse Piledriver [he is wrong; I knew he was wrong, but after some research; the move is called an Inverted Atomic drop, I mean before this we had the Atomic drop, I mean McMahon didn't call it by its name, but with being reasonable just maybe he didn't want to confuse the viewers, I know I could be completely wrong about this and talking absolutely garbage, it is one of those rare occasions where I am trying to be nice towards this man. One is from the front Inverted and the other is from the back Atomic, but he's still got it wrong anyway;] but other than this they did very much deserved the marking on commentary.

Now in a wrestling sense if you have been round wrestling long enough you would know three things about The Ultimate Warrior 1. His high octane all-round packaging.  2. His promos are the worst of the best as in; you had no idea what he was talking about, but you could understand his enthusiasm. 3. He was notoriously known for being a stiff worker [wrestling terminology; meaning a performer that is too physical or hard on the person they are working with in a match; which has a high risk of damaging their working partner.] Which on closer inspection on one hand I don't know if it is Savage selling [selling meaning ; to make the effects of the match looke real] or The Ultimate Warrior is being way too stiff, I mean when you have Heman saying "He hit that corner" [as Warrior Irish whips Savage into this corner.]

Momentarily later this one I would put on Savage [this is speculation mixed in with opinion he has taken a lot from Warrior here so it is possible Savage could do with just a moment to clear his head] as Savage grabs the front of Warrior's trunks the first time it doesn't exactly go according to plan so they quickly try it again with better success.

Warrior seems to forget the script as he looks to be going up on the top turnbuckle, but doesn't get that far as he steps back into the ring to attempt to perform his running big splash, but in the interest of fairness and balance; he could be trying to keep in kayfabe [wrestling terminology again; meaning a character or feud or injury anything to do with the theatrical side of wrestling.] Warrior performs a lift up choke on Savage, but on throwing him down Savage catches his head on the bottom turnbuckle in the corner [in the same corner where Savage pulled him into earlier with the trunks thing, Where from earlier Warrior had a safer landing out of the two.] Heenan makes references to this on commentary followed Mr McMahon as well. We get a great camera short of things from Savage's perspective at this moment in time [which based on this prospective, it helps that this part of the ring at some point gently shakes to indicate something just hit it.] But on top of that this is one of those occasions where Savage had to hit it based on where he is now situated.

Savage performs this Piledriver [it is a delayed version; wrestling terminology delayed means holding imposition] which it does look a little bit suspect I know Warrior has long hair, but one of the camera people get a excellent side on shot of this move and I have to say warrior's head is possibly a little bit too low [there is one very important rule about moves of this nature legs before heads and never and I repeat never the other way around, because the legs should take most of the impact and protect the head as much as possible.] This is speculation again mixed in with convenient; the person directing the camera shots went from this camera shot to another camera shot where you couldn't see the potential oncoming Warrior being dropped on more of his head then what he should be; as we went from this to rough a face on camera short which Savage's near leg blocks our vision, but as I said earlier it is a delayed version you can pretty much speculate that must have been a little bit of a tough landing.

This entire pay-per-view narrative of which corner is Mr. Perfect going to be in tonight was answered here with another option of Plan B. with "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

Basic Result: The Ultimate Warrior picks up the W.

Briefly things to know:

* King Bobby "The Brain" Heenan & Vince McMahon: there is aftermath

* "Mean" Gene Okerlund: interviews "The Nature Boy" Rick Flair & Mr. Perfect in a nutshell what just happened and as I have already referenced another option of Plan B.

Howard Finkel: Ring announcer introduces the next match, then introduces Dr. Harvey Wippleman [there is friction between these two,] which introduces his associates Kim Chee & "The Lord of the Jungle, The Ugandan Giant, The Mighty" Kamala.

Howard Finkel: Ring announcer introduces Paul Bearer and then The Undertaker.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 by AverageMansReviews

Captain America: The Winter Soldier 2014 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/stabbing/cutting/disfigurement/medical/terrorism/electrocution

A shadow from Steve Rogers/Captain America's past rises from the cold: because of the way this film has been designed [mystery or mysteries.] I don't know what to say here other than it fits into the model of espionage which in turn would explain the pacing of 136 minutes sequel it is good, but if you are expecting a full throttle film this isn't it, it does have a change of gear to it at its disposal when it needs to change up or down, but as I have already made reference to it is more about espionage, consequently it is about finding clues or information or other things.

The action and comedy; we have moments where these naturally combined for two examples; Steve Rogers a.k.a. Captain America [Chris Evans] has gone for a run and obviously because he is a super soldier he is much, much faster than another soldier which has also gone for a run at this time Sam Wilson a.k.a. Falcon [Anthony Mackie] where we will see/hear Steve repeatedly saying " On your left" [because Steve continuously lap Sam around this Washington landmark Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool next to another landmark Washington Monument] which Sam does get a little bit frustrated by this he says " Don't say it" or things of this nature. Next Steve Rogers/Captain America in this elevator things begin to dawn on him that he is in a hostile situation, so be for they begin this highly entertaining action sequence, he gives anyone the option to get out before they begin.

Yes of course all the other action sequences are hard-hitting and free-flowing; Captain America vs. The Winter Soldier/I know he has another identity, but as this is a mystery I will deliberately miss it out here [Sebastian Stan] or The Winter Soldier vs. Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow [Scarlett Johansson;] this action sequence has also been given a hard-hitting nature I know it is small but still holds fantastic value, as at this point everyone should know by now she can handle herself, but win lose or draw it reinforces that any stage be it past, present or future she will always be a massive asset and on top of that we learn more about her in this film as well.

Character developments and performances; as I have just made reference to the character developments have been well progressed as you come to expect from the MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe] and generally speaking the performances and voice performance are all good, but for our newcomer Sam Wilson/Felton [Anthony Mackie;] he slots in perfectly and quickly get up to speed with our recurring characters/performers. Now just in case I get called out on this; I think what they were trying to do with this character is publicly he makes reference to being happy in civilian life, but privately he is still up for the fight, probably just waiting for the right course to find him.

The art; there is a pleasing to the eyes ending credits sequence accompanying the ending credits in the first section; It accompanies this film very well as it has been also done in the style of espionage, we have a limited amount of colours being used like black, white and red and on top of that he was a friendly heads up there is one extra scene at the end of both ending credits so altogether there is two ending credits.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; this film moves things on and offers a lot of hard-hitting action in one way or another, yes of course this film has awards accredited to it. 5 Winners including IGN Summer Movie Awards 2014; IGN Award Best Comic Book Adaptation Movie. 52 Nominees including Academy Awards, USA 2015; Oscar Best Achievement in Visual Effects Dan DeLeeuw Russell Earl Bryan Grill Daniel Sudick.

Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter 2013 by AverageMansReviews

Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter 2013 by AverageMansReviews

Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting sexism/stabbing/choking

Steve Rogers/Captain America is on his way to the future: after this Captain America: The First Avenger 2011 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2018/01/captain-america-first-avenger-2011-by.html but Agent Peggy Carter [Hayley Atwell] is stuck in 1946 with all its women being treated and seen as second rate citizens even in the SSR [Strategic Scientific Reserve,] until one night she gets to be what she has been trained to be which is an Agent and in her case is the best agent around. Because this project goes on for just over 15 minutes, I will leave it there. So of course the pacing is good as it has a small story to tell and not long which do tell/show it.

Let's begin with the action and comedy; Agent Carter is trying to gain access to this location, but she has to deal with these two henchmen first; she tries it nicely first, but that doesn't work so she takes down the two henchmen with this briefcase in hand [change of perspective goes from out here to inside this location with this other henchmen with his feet up on the desk chilling out listening to some music with this action taking place in the background;] until she kicks one henchmen through this glass windows.

The art; generally speaking is of a fantastically high level as it relates to everything you can think of. But to put a bit more meat here the first lot of ending credits has this basic recap of what you have just seen with this classy sequence; the art has been done with the approach of one object or person or other being done in a small selection of colours mixed with different shades of that colour system including, because I know it is in this sequence where Agent Carter is holding this white gun in her white being with suitcase and red fingernails, but at least you should get a good idea of what I am trying to say here, including this excellent spy accompanying track and finally there is one extra scene right after this.

The character developments and performances; on both counts they are for the most parts all good; but Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, she has to stand shoulder to shoulder with other iconic characters and their performers for an example Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow [Scarlett Johansson.] As taking their role and making it their very own, obviously there is one big problem with these iconic characters and their performers unless the MCU [Marvel Cinematic Universe] has to close off this universe for some reason or they will have to come up with something like this to continue things at some point way, way off in the future but to maybe [this is completely speculation] to bringing younger versions of these characters may be in their 20's consequently you can bring in younger performers that aren't how to put this nicely straddled with unreachable expectations of their predecessors based on we are in a different universe, but do finish off this paragraph here and now Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter.

This film receives: 8/10, this film is excellent; I mean if you like this short film I would recommend you go and watch the highly, so highly underrated TV program of Marvel's Agent Carter 2015-2016 [2 Seasons; 18 Episodes] it didn't deserve to have the dreaded C word [Cancelled] associated with it; it was a TV show that was well before its time as in funny enough we have some period dramas in 2022 that are extremely popular like The Crown since 2016 or Bridgerton since 2020 or were/are Downton Abbey 2010-2015 [6 Series; 52 Episodes] and two films Downton Abbey The Movie 2019 and Downton Abbey: A New Era 2022 and many other period dramas. I mean I know how TV and film work if people don't watch it or see it they aren't going to invest in making more content. But Marvel's Agent Carter was Marvel's equivalent of a period drama/action that deserved a third and final Season I would have even taken just 6 episodes, just so that they could wrap things up and not given this TV show the cancellation it doesn't deserve. Yes of course this short film has accredited award to its name, fair enough it is just one, but one is one more than none. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers [Season 3,] Episode 125: Stop the Hate Master: Part II by AverageMansReviews

Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/transformation/social order discrimination

The Power of Hate Part II: Storyline, Blooper, Action and Art; these all combined in one way or another; Alpha 5 is running tests on  Aisha to find out why she was not affected by the Hate Master by is hate spell, after running it again over this family necklace which was given to her by her grandma which has these love properties which in turn protected Aisha from his spell apparently, I say apparently because here comes the blooper the last time the Hate Master absorbed essence of The Power Rangers she wasn't here, so of course she is safe. But later on in this episode with the Hate Master getting what he needs; Aisha defeats him anyway with thoughts of love.

Later on we have the Hate Master vs. Ninjazords Systems and Titanus; individually having an attack each. I am just going to talk about my favourite one here and that would be Black Frog Ninjazord; piloted by The Black Power Ranger/Adam. The action and art comes from when The Black Power Ranger/Adam extends this ramp down so that these little versions of the Black Frog Ninjazord can hop down and attached themselves to the Hate Master and electrocute him, but we are not done yet then The Black Power Ranger/Adam uses this flamethrower which comes out of the Black Frog Ninjazord's mouth; fantastic imagination and creativity.

This episode receives: 7/10, this episode is good; I had to give another mark based on the positives I have already made reference to.

5 things about this episode

Warning: there is flashing/colourful/other effects/transformation/social order discrimination

The Power of Hate Part I: Storyline, Character [Character developments,] Art and Action; these all combined in one way or another; it is Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd's anniversary which Lord Zedd gets Finster to extract the essence of every evil monster he has created and put it into the seeds which Lord Zedd throws down to earth from their kingdom on the moon, with this husband-and-wife saying this special incantation to bring this monster to life; by the name of Hate Master, he obviously is a mash presentation. Basic description purple haired with feathers running down the back with red eyes and tiny white fang teeth, like toffee brown body [clothing] with white shirt running underneath from up to down but you can only see the top and bottom with creamy white bottoms with a feather yellow trim, with brown boots, he raps as well which is okay. He has the ability to make his targets full of hate, but he needs an essence to absorb of them to do this which Squatt provides him when most of The Power Rangers in their Ninjet form as they are battling the Tenga Warriors which after they have achieved their objective is to give Squatt time to achieve his part of the mission they retreat. Hate Master with what he needs puts these Power Rangers under a hate spell with evil does particles being represented by these little red diamond shapes going around their heads with them suffering this sound so they have their hands over their ears in pain.

This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good; this is one of those episodes which is solidly good, it sets down what it needs to sit down for the second part just to pick it up and move things on.

The family of misfits are back and it is growing: the Guardians of the Galaxy has they are on the planets known as The Sovereign: M49 5I0L339P21+H9LNI31 getting ready to deal with this monster as they hired to do so by The Sovereign; their High Priestess Ayesha [Elizabeth Debicki] but someone had to go and screw things up didn't they Rocket [voiced by Bradley Cooper] between them and The Sovereign. But here comes Peter Quill/Star-Lord's father Ego the Living Planet [Kurt Russell, he also provides the voice/David Hasselhoff] with his servant Mantis [Pom Klemenieff] to save the day. The pacing of this 137 minute film is good as like its predecessor it has lots to offer so it just has to keep things going and rotating.

Like we have the Guardians of the Galaxy trying to on one hand deal with this monster and on the other hand look after Baby Groot/Teenager Groot [voiced by Vin Diesel] as he dances around to the music track on some research “Mr. Blue Sky” by  Electric Light Orchestra [from a stereo which Rocket has brought to the dance but Groot fixes it up] whilst this absolute chaos is happening behind him or around him in some capacity without a care in the world until he takes a ride on this lizard type of creature [he doesn't like them much, because previously he thinks they were looking at him funny] so he tries to take this one down, but he doesn't but what he does experience is a extremely bumpy ride. But after this he just gets up and continues to dance until Drax the Destroyer [Dave Batista] accidentally takes a landing on the stereo consequently destroying it which Groot is far from impressed with as he attacks Drax.

The art in this sequence of events is very immersive as for some time Groot is in the foreground and this sequence is happening in the background but consistently the background and foreground warn Groot or tries to warn him but he just waves to say hi Gamora [Zoe Saldaña] or Rocket crosses over into the foreground to get Groot to spit something out and then go back into the background or we have this ride on this lizard type of creature which has excellent camera shots and all that to make it also immersive.

Later on; the imagination and high levels of creativity to have The Sovereign vs. the Guardians of the Galaxy in this outer space action sequence which looks good, but the imagination and creativity comes from how The Sovereign to outer space combat and on a quick side note but not a small thing, this shows how advanced these race is, by using these fighter crafts which have no physical pilot in them, because they are back physically safe and sound on these bikes that looks like one of those arcade motorbikes [where the individual in question gets to sit on motorbike,] but these have been cleverly modified and artistically painted gold, don't worry you still get a suitable video game sound effect and the reason why I said this shows how advanced this race is. It is because they have quite clearly learnt that we can rebuild our ships, but our biggest assets are our pilots; yes these action sequences happen to be my favourite as well.

I also really did enjoy these highly sophisticated storyboards as it relates to Ego the Living Planet and without giving too much away what he is trying; this was neat and tidy and a smart way to present his character developments.

Now there is one thing I didn't like about this sequel and it is now and again on Planet Ego there is way, way, way too much red and orange in these scenes, I don't have to point them out to you to specifically, because they are really bright and you will know them when you see them, it just makes the scene or sequence they are a part of look really tacky and you can't really enjoy anything about these scenes are sequences because of that.

Character developments and performances; the character developments and performances have been really progressed as these returning characters have been matured in some fashion as in Drax has learned the concept of comedy as he finds out that as do we that Peter Quill/Star-Lord has romantic feelings for Gamora and he finds this hilarious and also like its predecessor it has a similar comedy level which is very funny from beginning to end for one more example of the comedy briefly Rocket asks Peter Quill/Star-Lord for a piece of tape so that Groot doesn't get something wrong, Peter Quill/Star-Lord asks around [ in the meantime we have Rocket and Groot sitting on screen hearing Peter Quill/Star-Lord asking around in this really chaotic sequence of events.] The newcomers slot in perfectly which is something you hope for, so once again like its predecessor this is a cast performance.

This film receives: 10/10, this film is lots of fun; yes I had to take a smidgen of for the red and orange thing. But as mine marking would suggest I really did find this very much enjoyable. I should give you a friendly heads up there are a lot of extra scenes throughout the ending credits somewhere either at the beginning or the end in total there is 5 including right at the end of the first lot of ending credits we have a face of David Hasselhoff [in gold] saying finishing off song by saying/singing "We are Groot" [on some more research this song track is entitled" Guardians into Inferno" by The Sneepers featuring David Hasselhoff, which has a music video to it which I would recommend you go and watch it.] Yes no surprise here but this film has awards accredited to it in some fashion. 15 Winners; Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films, USA 2018 Best Special Effects Christopher Townsend Guy Williams Jonathan Fawkner Daniel Sudick. 59 Nominees including Academy Awards, USA 2018 Oscar Best Achievement in Visual Effects Christopher Townsend Guy Williams Jonathan Fawkner Daniel Sudick.
