The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 24 by AverageMansReview

The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 24 by AverageMansReview

Just a heads up: this Volume will have a fair amount of questions on both sides of the divide

WWE: I know I have discussed this before; but I am now going to expand on it. Yes I haven't watched Raw for some time, because I no longer have access to their live TV product, so I just have highlights on another channel [this does not interest me, so I currently do not watch it] or when I had access to it live TV product I either stopped watching it or found it insufferable.

But what I find irritating about the Women's Division on the Red Brand is these bunch of annoying questions; if Lynch or Charlotte was still around would the Woman's Division as a whole be getting this level of exposure? If or when or unknown return if at all, is everyone just going to fall back into line behind these two consequently them just being the focus point again? When the WWE has a wider selection of men characters/performers to pick from; will the Woman's Division be getting pushed back from the Main Event slot?

Based on my experience with this company Lynch or Charlotte will resume their spots on the Card, with them being the focus point again, if or when or if at all they return [I'm just covering my back for any eventuality on both cases] and furthermore I can see the Women's Division spending less and less time in the Main Event slot if at all when the WWE goes back to their version of normality; but you are more than welcome to prove me wrong WWE, in fact I want you to prove me wrong.

Now you may be wondering how somebody that doesn't have access to their live product can speculate this with genuine conviction, this is because I know this company, I have been interested/following it since the late 1980's and considering this company hasn't changed their playbook since the late 1970's heading into the 1980's, it has become easier to at the very least have a rough idea of what will happen even before it happens.

Now before I continue I should point out that I am not a sexist, but in the grounds of this company I never really got behind the Women's Revolution, because yes it should have happened many years before it happened, but I could just smell a publicity stunt and as far as I am concerned this is what is still was and is based on the grounds which I have already highlighted in this Volume or let's go and ask Naomi or better yet how is that all women's pay-per-view WWE Evolution going WWE? Now if they were taking women's wrestling seriously this pay-per-view should always be on the schedule of pay-per-views in the year; this by now should be heading towards its third instalment not just one in 2018.

Pipe Bomb [in a wrestling sense] it's weird that this company can miss out this pay-per-view when it suits them but they won't miss out a scheduled appearance in the Middle East due to a real life heinous event and on top of that they had half naked women on WWE RAW Underground, which shows they are willing to be hypocrites to push the TV ratings, so which narrative is this company going with? One that says we now recognize equality or the old narrative of anything for money; choose one? You cannot be both I mean if women want to do the half naked dancing I will come up with a solution so it is still in the realms of equality, so what I would suggest is this;  they should be leaning toward more of a sports-based using a dancing pole [wearing appropriate clothing for this activity,] I mean they should be getting more people behind the scenes with a similar outlook to mine, where if they want to do these things they should be looking outside the box to achieve them properly, I mean if this segment goes well you could even introduce a Championship to hammer home the narrative that this company are looking at this activity from the perspective of sports [I mean the hierarchy doesn't have to believe it, the viewers don't have to believe it,] but that is the narrative we are selling, they could even get men participating and I believe it could work, but then again I have just remembered you have to please a 74-year-old man and get a 50-year-old man to go along with it in Mr. McMahon and Shane McMahon.

The half naked thing didn't irritate me, but what did irritate me is the hypocritical nature of it and what it represented [anything for ratings and money] as it was before it was pulled; moving on yes I don't have access to NXT, but even I don't like the sound of having two new writers to NXT; working on NXT, because yes it does continuously struggle against AEW: Dynamite, but in the WWE Universe it is the golden standard of their Universe [so please don't screw it up.]

All Elite Wrestling: straight off the bat the Dumb Award goes to Le Sex Gods [Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara;] Guevara for throwing the wrong chair at Matt Hardy, I don't care if it was the wrong chair or he just panicked; I really, really couldn't care or don't care. Here is a great idea Guevara the next time you panic you don't throw an object that you don't know if it is the right one or not, in essence what I'm saying here is just don't throw anything and go on the fly and do something safer, yes you may run the risk of getting heat backstage a little, but I'm sure everyone would understand that you panicked and consequently you took the safer option, furthermore it would have maybe got you some credibility back stage of being a safe worker, as in okay that didn't work out but at least he tried to protect the person he was working with; with going on the fly.

Think about it if AEW gave him a sensible amount of time like three months suspension for his comments about WWE's Sasha Banks, he wouldn't be in this situation to make this stupid error in the first place.

Jericho; you are aware of this global situation right? So why the hell did you perform with your band Fozzy at a event [Sturgis Bike Rally] when AEW take this global situation very seriously, which now leaves AEW in a bad situation. Because they will now be getting criticized for allowing you to wrestle on this past week of AEW: Dynamite against Orange Cassidy; where if Orange Cassidy loses he will have to pay Chris Jericho $7000 Obligation, but Jericho should have been in quarantine, instead of this match which AEW should be in a bad situation after allowing you to wrestle, because apparently the Fozzy performance was done with social distance involved, but I am now looking at a picture which would completely contradict that plus if alcoholic drinks were involved social distancing goes out of the window.

So why did AEW allow this? If I was AEW I would have firstly been very angry with Jericho, secondly postponed this match and issued a statement to why it has been postponed and sent Jericho home to quarantine, I would have done everything in my power to avoid the backlash from fans [or to give anybody ammunition] and also to send out a strong message that "We at AEW take this global situation very seriously and no one is above it."

Finally I have to say I prefer the AEW Women's Division, it doesn't give me a headache, because they really do just focus on wrestling; yes at the moment I am willing to give them a little bit of time; due to the facts of this global situation and it has plenty of space and time to grow naturally [instead of it feeling like a publicity stunt which means women's wrestling belongs here and it will continuously grow may be slowly but surely; I have previously discussed AEW Heels in the previous Volume I will leave the link down below] and Dr. Britt Baker DMD suffering a long-term injury, scheduled to be back in the ring Saturday 05/09/2020 [AEW All Out,] yes I am aware she still has an on-screen presence now until then only [and I should just point out that the only reason I know this date of this pay-per-view return is because she is mentioning it in her promos,] but I think we can all agree she is a very integral part of the AEW Women's Division.
