Recommendation of: WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XXXVII/2024 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful/blood/medical/reference to cancer

Sami Zayn vs. Drew McIntyre; Singles Match: "Mean" Gene Okerlund gets referenced, I know this is Jesse "The Body" Ventura shtick, but considering "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes is not here anymore, it was in bad taste for the first thing for Ventura to spit out was Rhodes weight issues, let me make this clear I am just talking about this was the first thing, after roughly 40 years of being away from the WWF/WWE and this is what he comes out with, don't get me wrong any other time I still would have had a problem with it but not as much as it being the first major pop he makes, that somebody that as I have already said isn't here anymore. This match is as you would expect a hard-hitting match slot, but because of the comment made previously I will minus a mark. This match/match slot receives: 7/10.

Damage CTRL's: Iyo Sky vs. Champ The Judgment Day's: Liv Morgan; Singles Match for the WWE Women's World Championship: Sky slips harmlessly off the ring ropes [on the side of the commentary table] as she goes to jump off them, but as most wrestling fans would know the show has to continue and yes this slip does get mentioned on commentary as well. As Cole will show via a replay it looks like Morgan takes a hard hit/knee to the face/nose as it is bleeding, he speculates it could be broken, but hopefully not. This match is another hard-hitting encounter which is minus the little bits and pieces of botches and so on including surrounding content. This match/match slot receives: 10/10

One half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions The Judgment Day's: Finn Bálor vs. Damian Priest vs. Champ Imperium's: King Walter; Triple Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship: as we come to expect again from who is involved in this match slot this is another hard-hitting fair with everyone looking better for having been involved and including its surrounding content. This match/match slot receives: 8/10.

Chelsea Green [with Piper Niven] vs. Michin; Tournament final for the inaugural WWE Women's United States Championship: Ventura put over the crowd, TNA gets referenced on commentary, this match was safe and reliable match outlay of what they wanted to achieve here, including the surrounding content. This match/match slot receives: 8/10.

Kevin Owens vs. Champ Cody Rhodes; Singles Match for the Undisputed WWE Championship: we have Ventura joining our commentary team of Cole and Pat McAfee. This match/match slot just continues the feud building with an excellent match outlay, they should really do something with Owens and Ventura as his spokesperson. This match/match outlay receives: 8/10.

The average mark of this pay-per-view is: 8/10, there is a lot of entertaining wrestling mixed with feud building so a confident and competent event it has got to be deemed as a success here.
