Reactionary To The Wrestling News of: AEW Departures 2025 by AverageMansReviews

Warning: there will be censored adult language and I will be making reference to a tragedy and I try not to deal with speculation/allegations, but however in some of these situations I can see an element of a ring of truth to what is going round, like a smoke without fire that kind of thing.

There is no big losses here:

Malakai Black/Alistair Black: well let's be completely honest here from my perspective as soon as Paul "Triple H" Levesque was put in any way near the role of creative positions Black wanted to go back to the WWE.

Since then Black has been mostly a complete waste of time and energy, I mean this is not the only time I will be making reference to this; but they must have been an element of truth to the speculation/allegations that he was difficult to work with based on he didn't want to lose to an individual less than him very much the WWE mind set or something to that effect or my guess is that Tony Khan would have probably pushed him, I mean don't get me wrong I respect wrestlers that have some say in their creative direction; like when Drew McIntyre some time ago indicated that he referenced something had to make sense for his character to do that, which makes sense to me.

But having an individual or individuals declining creative plans to potentially lose somebody, well that makes booking very difficult and because of this alleged booking situation Black has now and again had to come out and say either something to the effect of I am not injured or I am not wrestling injured or I am not leaving AEW [before now.]

So as far as I am concerned Black's crowning achievement was and is Julia Hart and yes I am very much aware he did win the AEW World Trios Championship, but not to devalue this championship in no way shape or form, but taking Hart from where she was as this cheerleader gimmick to where she is now; this miniature female version styling of The Undertaker gimmick, I fully acknowledge it is down to her hard work and so on and so forth, but the first step is walking through a door when someone opens it for you. But for whatever reason Black should have been so much more than what he was in AEW.

Miro/Rusev: I mean what you want me to say here really? This was a complete waste of everyone's fudgin' time, it in my opinion became evident that whatever reason, he wasn't going to play ball as it relates to yet again the speculation/allegation of essential having the WWE mind set and declining creative plans and on top of that spending chunks of time allegedly even to do with this situation or/and situations or injuries. I know he had a lengthy run as the AEW TNT Champion at 140 days, but he really wasn't worth the money.

Ricky Starks: everyone that follows wrestling consistently knows roughly the day that Starks career regardless of what happened next; remembers when Starks' days were numbered in AEW 14/10/2023 [a week after winning the AEW World Tag Team Championships with Big Bill:] he gets into a heated back and forth with Adam Copeland and Starks makes a flippant reference to something that regardless if you are a WWE or AEW or any other promotion fan really it is something that most of us either make professional reference to, but never, ever, never ever made reference to this to a comical or/and to make cheap heat, basically in short speak of it as a professional but for any other reason it is out of bounds and most of us know that, apart from Starks: where he goes to reference Over The Edge in reference where tragically in 1999 one Blue Blazer a.k.a. Owen Hart sadly died.

This was such a stupid mother fudging reference to make, considering at this point Starks' was being pretty much marked as the next big main eventer and his stock in AEW was rising, I mean all you have to do was don't say or do anything stupid and you would have eventually got there.

But he said this; and you can instantly tell everyone was essentially like dude that was one step too far and not AEW have a business partnership with the Hart family [The Owen Hart Foundation] to put on the Owen Hart Cup [men and women's individual tournaments:] so as you can see this was possibly not a good look for TK and AEW.

I mean if you want me to be fair and honest I think with Starks, he was beginning to believe his own hype and having self-confidence in yourself is good, but there is a fine line between backing yourself and writing a check that you can't cash. Yes in his time with this promotion he won other accolades /achievements: FTW Championship, AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament 2022, Dynamite Diamond Battle Rumble 2022 and Men’s Owen Hart Cup 2023: as I said he was really on his way to be the next big thing.

What is next for these three: well it is obvious that these three are either going back to the WWE as it relates to Black and Rusev on a quick side note: it hasn't escaped my notice that all of the fan boys/girls are basically saying something to the effect of welcome back home. But I like to see it another way; they couldn't cut it in outside of the WWE, so they are running home to daddy Levesque and for Starks he can join them as well and he can believe as much of his own hype as he likes now.

I am not salty can see the back of these three, if you want me to be honest I would suggest to TK to only bring in wrestling that believe in wrestling and not predominantly entertainers that can wrestle.
