Recommendation of: WWE Saturday Night's Main Event XXXVIII/2025 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!
Warning:
there is flashing effects/colourful effects/adult language/blood/medical and at
one point I will be using censored adult language references
Queen
Jax vs. Champ Real Ripley; Singles Match for the WWE Women's World Championship: we have Jesse “The Body" Ventura back with us,
this time he makes a political reference, I just don't like seeing Queen Jax's
finisher the Annihilator, but if you have been following me long enough you're
already aware of this. But putting that on one side for a minute this is a
hard-hitting start to this event. This match/match slot receives: 9/10.
Sheamus
vs. Champ Bron Breakker; Singles Match for the WWE Intercontinental
Championship: Ventura has joined us on
commentary for this match/match slot where he makes reference to Rick Steiner
maths [for those people that don't know he is the uncle of Breakker] and at
some point in one way or another the questions the 3 count, as you would have
come to expect from these two competitors this match/match slot just continues
the hard-hitting moments of this event. This match/match slot receives: 10/10.
Contract
Signing: between Kevin Owens [the holder of
the WWF/WWE Winged Eagle Championship] vs. Cody Rhodes [the holder of the
Undisputed WWE Championship] Ladder
Match for both Championships at WWE Royal Rumble 2025 [overseeing of this
contract signing: Shawn Michaels:] this receives: 8/10
Braun
Strowman vs. The New Bloodline's: Jacob Fatu; Singles Match: on one hand they did really well building up Fatu and
then on the other hand they went fudge it let's give them the thing that they
were expecting. I mean they could have done this thing after the match, I can't
tell you how much this match slot just fudged me off, I have even gone to the
extent of taking off an extra mark then I originally did, there is how much
this match slot has irritated me, but then again I am going to award an extra
mark based on the fact that " Mean" Gene Okerlund gets referenced.
This match/match slot receives: 3/10.
The
Original Bloodline's: The Usos': Jey Uso vs. Champ Imperium's: King Walter;
Singles Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: Usos received the Walter treatment of putting on a
banger, with both competitors ensuring that Usos now looks and feels like a
main eventer again, which let's be honest it has taken them sometime it is this
again after WWE SummerSlam 2024 when he took on his cousin Roman Reigns for his
Undisputed WWE Championship: this match/match slot receives: 9/10
The
average mark of this pay-per-view is:
9/10, I hate it when on a short event you have one, just this one section on
the event that is in my opinion terrible, but I feel comfortable giving this
mark based on the vast majority of this event pretty much in one way or another
goes through this mark.
