simply put; this is extremely sad news:
I was working on other content but this incredibly sad turn of events is so
much more important; James Earl Jones has passed away aged 93 years old, his
physical performances will be best remembered for based on my viewing knowledge
and experiences; his role within Conan the Barbarian 1982 as Thulsa Doom,
Coming to America 1988 as King Jaffe
Joffer and yes I know he came back to be in the sequel Coming 2 America in 2021
and full disclosure I haven't seen it yet as of this content, but this was his
final role and the Jack Ryan franchise between 1990-1994: The Hunt for Red
October, Patriot Games and Clear and
Present Danger as Admiral James Greer.
Now
on to his voice work Darth Vader Star Wars franchise between 1977-2019 in
various projects, The Flight of Dragons 1982 as the voice of Ommadon, The Lion
King 1994, The Lion King II: Simba's Pride 1998, The Lion Guard: Return of the
Roar 2015 and The Lion King 2019 [live-action] as as the voice of Mufasa.
Jones
always brought this stage presence with him, that you could always rely on him,
to bring his characters to life on a certain level of high quality, so that
everything around him on screen rose to his level of high standards; he will be
sadly missed as the film industry has lost a true legend, my thoughts and
sympathies go out to his family, friends, colleagues and anyone else that had
the privilege of spending any time with him be it in a professional or personal
or any time with him, but as everyone should know; within the Star Wars
Universe no one truly dies and the same can be said for the film industry; as
in their memory will live on through out their works; so may the force
protecting James Earl Jones; RIP James Earl Jones 1931-2024.
