Pay-Per-View Rewind of: Starrcade '95: World Cup of Wrestling 27/12/1995 Match 4 Part 4 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning/Speculation: flashing effects/colourful effects/shooting/outdated sexist comments/choking/racist comment. Later on I will be speculating, but as you will see/read my point is potentially valid.

Match/Stipulations: Representing WCW: the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Johnny B. Badd [with Kimberly The Diamond Dull] vs. Representing: NJPW: "Mr. Torture" Masa Saito [with Sonny Onoo:] World Cup of Wrestling [Best of 7; All 7 will be competed for] Singles Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 3/10

Match Slot Storyline: 3/10

Crowd Participation: 6/10

On Commentary: Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel," Tony Schiavone & "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes 7/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 1/10

Recommend Watch: 1/10

Match Total: 21/60 - this match/match slot is poor

Comments: we are now getting the scoreboard on screen, Heenan makes a mistake on commentary calling Sgt. Craig "Pitbull" Pitman, Sgt. Pillman, Schiavone picks up on this and Heenan gives us this; you know who I mean thing. I completely agree with The American Dream when in short he calls out the referee [Nick Patrick] for being out the position on a pin-fall and I have more to say about this match slot momentarily.

Basic Result: the WCW United States Heavyweight Champion Johnny B. Badd [with Kimberly The Diamond Dull] picks up the victory to make it World Championship Wrestling 2 New Japan Pro Wrestling 2. Now speculation, because I have no proof of this and this is just my opinion also, the way that things go down here; I have a feeling that no one wanted to actually take the loss, because and I know I don't usually give all this away, I liked to have some wiggle room so I don't give everything away. But in this rare case you will see why; they activate a very rare rule that I didn't know existed until I began to watch old wrestling, I think I have only seen this being used maybe twice and it is the rule that says " participants cannot go over the top rope or the instigator gets disqualified or something to that effect." No surprise here, but I don't particularly like this rule/claws, because it is so lame, here is a great idea if you can't book a solid conclusion to match slot don't book it; I mean they could have the losing party be accidentally counted out that would have still achieved the outcome they wanted, they could have gone with beating the hell out of one another and at the last second Badd makes it back in.

Basic walk-through of this event:

* Tony Schiavone, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel: Commentary talk about what they have just seen with Johnny B. Badd theme music "Don't Mess With Johnny B. Badd" (With Tron) with  Badd and Diamond Dull standing in the ring coming up the camera and basically saying we aren't done yet and showing support for Eddie Guerrero and Sting.

* Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel," Tony Schiavone & "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes: Commentary appearing on-screen to talk about how things are now including Schiavone advertising/with a commercial coming on stream as well of the next pay-per-view would would be WCW SuperBrawl 96' 11/02/1996; our commentary team appear on-screen again, Schiavone to send us to

* "Mean" Gene Okerlund: Interviewer interviews to interview “The Dungeon of Doom” "The Total Package" Lex Luger [with "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart] about how things are standing in this Wrestling World Cup, The Dungeon of Doom and The Four Horsemen and the Triangle Match with himself [Lugar,] The Four Horsemen' Ric Flair and his good friend Sting, the WCW Heavyweight Champion "Macho Man" Randy Savage and in short Lugar tells Hart he is doing this on his own tonight which Hart responds I am paraphrasing here okay just bring it home tonight.

* Tony Schiavone: Commentary brings up what we have just found out about Lugar doing things on his own tonight.

* Dave Penzer: Ring Announcer [graphic of this match; on-screen, but medium-size and sliding down the screen like a water park slide] saying stipulations and competitors.

* Bobby "The Brain" Heenan/"Wiesel": makes a racist comment relating to Guerrero and Taco Bell

* Up-to-date scoreboard appears on-screen

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Money In The Bank 2024 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Money In The Bank 2024 by AverageMansReviews

Warning/just a heads up/Speculation: at one point or another there will be some speculation that some point.

Damage CTRL's: Iyo Sky vs. Chelsea Green vs. Lyra Valkyria vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. Zoey Stark; Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a Women's Championship Match Contract: my pick is Tiffany Stratton. As this could be/should be a way to flush out her heel gimmick and establish as a main threat for the foreseeable future, similar to when she was the NXT Women's Champion.

Bron Breakker vs. Champ Sami Zayn; Singles Match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship: my pick is Bron Breakker. The way Breakker has continued to be built on the main roster from his NXT days, he should not lose here. In fact the way he has been built there is only one justifiable outlay for this match/match slot and that is the rough equivalent of The Ultimate Warrior vs. Champ The Honky Tonk Man SummerSlam 1988.

Seth Rollins vs. Champ The Judgement Day's: Damian Priest; Last Chance Match for the World Heavyweight Championship [If Priest wins, Rollins will never challenge for the title for as long as Priest is champion.] If Rollins wins, Priest must leave The Judgment Day: my pick is Damian Priest. I do feel and they are probably going with the idea of Rollins coming out on Raw the following night with obviously having the champion there in the ring with him at some point; pointing out that little fact that Priest couldn't get the job done without The Judgment Day's: Dominik Mysterio, the WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor & JD McDonagh, but Rollins is not upset instead it eats away at Priests and that kind of angle.

Jey Uso vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. the WWE Speed Champion Andrade vs. Chad Gable vs. LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre Money in the Bank Ladder Match for a Men's Championship Match Contract: my pick is Jey Uso. This pick is going to need some explaining, originally I was going to go with McIntyre, but my brain said to me how about  Brock Lesnar 2019, meaning in this case there is nothing to stop CM Punk getting involved and preventing McIntyre winning this opportunity which would leave Uso wide-open to go in for the briefcase, let's not forget they have already indicated that this may be the way they are going anyway considering Uso is on the poster to begin with and on top of that he is referred to as the main event and the WWE hierarchy would probably like to exploit his current popularity. I need to address something now as it relates to Uso I have openly said I don't like him using the fireflies, even though he has came out and said two things in one backstage interview; he has done it to show respect to Bray Wyatt and the second is the Wyatt Sicks can help back, I will have to wait and see if this is true, even though Uso's motives are honourable, just from me it doesn't feel right. As I have said in previous content somewhere Uso could use wristbands to follow his hand movements or spending a few more seconds if you really wanted to use the fireflies; he could use his two colour system on his ring attire and throwing could go around putting these coloured bulbs or something to that effect on the attending seats or something to that effect or unless he has the blessing of the Rotunda family and if that is okay by them, it is okay by me.

The Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, and Kevin Owens vs. The Bloodline's: Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and/or Jacob Fatu; Six-Man Tag Team Match: my pick is The Bloodline's: Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa, and/or Jacob Fatu. This is a bit obvious considering they have just recently assembled this second wave of this faction/stable, so they are not losing here, furthermore it will be Sikoa to pin Rhodes to start building up towards these two facing at WWE SummerSlam for this championship which to be honest yet to some brutally honest I am very much open to a championship drop here, even though I don't watch WWE TV programming I have to say this whole Rhodes championship reign has been really boring.

Average Extra of: What was the point of A Quiet Place: Day One 2024? by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Average Extra of: What was the point of A Quiet Place: Day One 2024? by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there will be softer version of adult language references in this content, including references to cancer. Disclaimer; when this becomes relevant I am not accusing anyone of anything, but just simply pointing out within the same year we have an individual in some way or another connected to two films that uses cancer in one way or another, in the same year of release.

Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2024/05/average-extra-of-if-2024-if-it-is-okay.html

Real Talking Time:

In hindsight I have to say I find this film to be exploitative: on two fronts; the first being the fact that the first two instalments of this franchise on average was positive and then they come out with this donkey manure or a script which has very little in it to begin with and secondly giving one of your main characters terminal cancer is extremely exploitative based on the grounds it generates instant sympathy/empathy for this individual which comes off incredibly manipulative, it is incredibly jarring and unnecessary and which makes their outcome incredibly predictable.

I should now point out just to cover my back; I have some life experience with cancer due to a family member and for those individuals, family network and friends or others know it isn't just the individual going through cancer that will be affected, so let's just say I have some credibility to say these things. Now if this character wanted to carry a letter from her doctors with the results of their scan and throughout this film this individual was obviously frightened to find out these results, but before doing something crazy, but to save a lot of people; this individual opens up this letter to find out the results, so whatever they do next they may as well save some lives before succumbing to their future; this in itself would have been much more palatable.

John Krasinski; what is your fascination with cancer? Because this would be the second time this year you have been connected to a project that uses this topic; okay, okay in this case he is just a producer [in the previous instalments of this franchise it ranges from writer/director/character] and in If he was a writer/director/producer/performer/voice performer, but my point is still valid. I don't have a problem with you; but from now on any film connected to you I will be doing much more research into it then I usually do, because the person I watch some of this content with and I don't like cancer just being dropped on us and we are not snowflakes, but as I referenced a little earlier once you have been through it in some way or another, you have a different perspective on it and it shouldn't be used willy-nilly. I am aware that this could be all coincidental, but still it is a weird/unpleasant element/component to use in these films.

It will be interesting to see where they go from here with this franchise, because I do think they should finish it off with one more instalment, because the person I watch some of this content with and I are now three instalments into this franchise and it would be nice to have a payoff, I know there are little bits and pieces online, but I have been doing this kind of thing long enough to know; I'm not being arrogant here, but I work from concrete movement, but I will allow the person I watched this film is at the cinema to say their words if slightly since it and generally speaking; this prequel is shish kebab.
