ISLA SORNA 87 Miles Southwest of Isla Nublar/Site B/The Five Deaths: briefly; set some 4 years after what happened with Jurassic Park, the now former head of InGen Dr. John Hammond [Richard Attleborough:] he still has the belief that he is doing the right thing, called upon Dr. Ian Malcolm [Jeff Goldblum:] here's nowadays a disgraced individual which broke his NDA and had been outspoken about his time at Jurassic Park. But Dr. Hammon need him to go to this location to make sure that everything is okay with likewise prove of everything is okay with this unit before the runners of InGen get there and take the specimens back, which obviously Dr. Malcolm declines well at first, then he finds out his girlfriend  Dr. Sarah Harding [Julienne Moore:] she is a behavioural paleontologist that has gone to this location to study these animals in their own surroundings, so obviously Dr. Malcolm agrees to go in with the next unit, but it looks like we have a stowaway as  Kelly Curtis [Vanessa Lee Chester/Vanessa Chester:] a intelligent girl which is double the numbers of age, she will also recently cut from her gymnastics team at school and yes she has similar personality traits or/and mannerism to her dad.

Generally speaking: the framework and pacing of this 129 minutes film is straightforward, it knows what it is doing and gets on with it. Well we may as well talk about the elephant in the room; without Dr. Malcolm this sequel would have struggled, it needs him to be him basically. I mean like its predecessor we have another T Rex sequence, but of course as this is the sequel we need two fully grown and a baby; in a nutshell we have Dr. Malcolm and Dr. Harding In this technological station/trailer and Nick Van Owen [Vince Vaughn:] he is adocumentarian, photojournalist/other that has momentarily I go get back this young dinosaur [it should be pointed out they had absolutely no intention of harming it, they were just fixing up its leg,] as they very calmly open the door and gave it back and then close the door, with that a few more moments have passed Dr. Malcolm basically says something to the effect of hold as it just dawned on him the silence is an indication for an impending attack and right on schedule, he is correct. These two moments of comedy between giving this baby back and this impending attack is well-placed comedy. The action; after this T Rex or/and T Rexs have destroyed the station, the T Rex decides to push it over the cliff with these three characters inside, so they have a limited time to get out of this location in for a completely goes over, meanwhile to slow down and rescue these three we have another member of this unit by the name of Eddie Carr [Richard Schiff:] he is the equipment specialist of our unit trying to keep this station/trailer from going down quicker by the usage of his vehicle and cable and trees and much later on the viewers get to see Curtis gymnastic skills with a makeshift uneven bars and yes her dad make is referenced to her school cutting her from the team after what he has just seen.

Art; as it relates to the dinosaurs and them living their lives in their habitats, that still looks fantastic, but however and this is quite a big however; the green screen usage is ugly and to give you something to look out for I will make reference again to these three characters over the cliff; when this station/trailer gives away and we are left with these three characters holding onto this cable; you can very clearly see the green screen effects and those of a certain age would completely understand what you're looking for is; these really faint or in some cases thick black lines that separates the background from the foreground in your film project. Yes there are some old school films for an example like the James Bond franchise that you can clearly see when or if it is in affect which because and this is speculation on my part/opinion they were given a high level of detail and attention they haven't aged poorly, I mean quite clearly they have aged, but they haven't aged as bad as the green screen effects in this sequel.

Character development and performance; this cast is all good, be it with their character developments and performances, but I do not understand this fact without Dr. Ian Malcolm [Jeff Goldblum,] this sequel would have been stuck in/encased in quicksand being fossilised for people to find it in maybe 100 years.

This film receives: 6/10, this film is good; as you can see it is no way as good as its predecessor, but as I have made it crystal clear by now if you want to see more of Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm, this sequel will suit you down to the ground. This film has award accredited to its name and no they are not all positive ones either 4 Winners that includes Las Vegas Film Critics Society Awards 2011 Sierra Award Best DVD "Jurassic Park Ultimate Trilogy (Blu-Ray)" Shared with: Jurassic Park · Jurassic Park III.
