You may as well taste the rainbow, because this sequel is hardly going to make a profit if at all: in summary the three daughters of Atlas are free; Hespera [Helen Mirren:] is the oldest and the wisest of the three sisters, but make no mistake do not take her wise attitude as a sign of weakness, because she will gladly show you what she is capable of. Kalypso [Lucy Liu:] the middle sister, which is blinded by anger and vengeance and then we have Anthea/Anne [Rachel Zegler:] that isn't so tainted by life as her to order sisters, she believes in their mission but not at the cost of the Earth realm. On stealing the magic staff from a museum, they are now on the search for those that shout out "Shazam!" and a golden apple.

The framework and pacing of this 130 minutes to sequel; well when you want me to start really? If you have been following me long enough you know I tried to section off in different components of a product in question, but in this case I would be making this content harder to dictate and consequently to read.

Obviously I will try to keep it in some kind of order, but other than that here we go.

So the framework and pacing; it does something really lazy and very quickly monotonous; it uses the identical comedy level from the first film, where you can get away with that kind of comedy once, because to sum it up in a nutshell it is origin script comedy. Yes generally speaking you can use a similar comical tone in the project in question sequel, but and this would be a big but; but it has to be more, so much more evolved to slot in with your characters maturing and yes before I receive backlash they did this once in awhile so there are signs of it in this sequel. But for especially more or less the first section of this sequel this is monotonous comical content [on a quick side note the Skittles: well-known sweets; is a imaginative way of product placement.] But I digress; someone had the bright idea instead of using a similar frame for delivering the actual comedy, where it was quick and snappy or/and easier to pull it back and forth in the film, you know actually concentrate on the storyline or the hard-hitting stuff from the previous project. In this sequel they went with merging the frame and the comedy, which creates issues not only have we got a very similar comical tone, we actually lose a quick and snappy nature which also makes this monotonous. Speaking of the framework yet again; can I just ask what the hell was going on in the dark sequences? Because there are either some scenes or sequences in this film that were really dark as in from an artistic perspective, I could see vaguely what was going on, whatever away you choose to watch this sequel you may want to take the torch with you.

Now there is a reason why I have specifically made reference to these three sisters and it is because singling or indifferent pairings or altogether they say this sequel. Be it them following their character types or Hespera reading this letter from Billy Batson/Shazam/Captain Every Power Jr. [Asher Angel/Zachary Levi:] a teenager coming up to being 18, he is concerned about his living arrangements when he turns 18, but is also the leader of the unofficial team name "Philyfiascos" and between them and mystical pen that goes by the name of Steve which writes down anything they say; they send Hespera a mystical letter and I won't give any more of this scene away, but she reads it; this scene is comedy genius, because you have a mixture of grown-up characters, not realising they are reading something comical, but obviously responding to it as they would usually; I mean this is how you get naturally free-flowing comedy without it being forced, they just had to be a bit more creative.

Any action sequence involving these three sisters be it from an action perspective or an art perspective is good fun for an example Kalypso riding the Dragon known as Ladon; not only is it very large, powerful it has a special ability to paralyse its prey with fear which is a very cool wrinkle to this character or/and separately these mystical monsters; they all look fantastic.

Character developments and the performances; well generally speaking if this is what they were going for, they are all safe and reliable. But if they haven't made this clear enough already Helen Mirren as Hespera, Lucy Liu as Kalypso and Rachel Zegler as Anthea/Anne; do so much for this sequel and on reflection including another character which I can't say, you'll find out if you watch this film, even this individual brings some fun to the table.

This film receives: 5/10, this film is mixed; after seeing this sequel, I don't know too much about this character, but I do know that Billy Batson/Shazam/Captain Every Power Jr. is more of a comical character, but after this second outing for this character I am stressing question-marks over his usage in any future projects, because I am now of the mind set you could be more of a detriment than anything else and one final thing there is two ending credits scenes one each at the ending credits sections.
