Review Time

Warning: there is flashing effects/colourful effects/scarring/racism/stabbing/burning

Almost completely forgettable: basically California has decided to democratically join the United States of America, but Jacob McGivens [Nick Chinlund] and others try to steal the voting box, so the vote can't go through. But don't worry Don Alejandro de la Vega/Zorro [Antonio Banderas] will put a stop to it. Because this film is done as a mystery or something from that neck of the woods, that is as much as I can tell you about the storyline.

What do you want me to tell you; that this film is roughly 130 minutes long, the pacing is pedestrian. The action mixed with the comedy is not worth writing home about. I mean there is this one sequence that takes place high up on the building where this henchman character eventually lands on this poll urging his grapefruits with Don Alejandro de la Vega/Zorro indicating "That must have hurt." I am pointing out this sequence of events based on it is a good action sequence and as the art goes this is good as well, briefly and on a quick side note I like the hiding places of things in;it shows a little bit of imagination and creativity, the scenery, the wardrobe and all of this is good in this film and just for the record the comedy is cheap mainly not worth dictating about, yes I am fully aware I have made reference to it a little but that was to make reference to and action sequence and not the comedy itself.

Character developments/performances; the character developments are safe and reliable versions of what they are meant to be the cast put in mostly safe and reliable performances. Minus these oncoming names; Antonia Banderas, Catherine Zeta Jones as Elena de la Vega and Adrian Alonso as Joaquin de la Vega; I felt nothing for these characters and performances. The only one that I can point out which is good would be Rufus Sewell as Armand.

This film receives: 1/10, this film is poor; yes there are some very small positives, but it to counterbalance thing going on here hence why this mark. I have no idea what happened here between this one and its predecessor, I mean the previous film title had Anthony Hopkins in it which he does bring a lot to any project he is a part of anyway. Boat as it relates to this project it has very little to offer hence why this review is on the small side which I haven't done one for a long time on the small side. But somehow this sequel has awards credited to its name and no they are not all positive ones. Won 2; Young Artist Awards 2006; Young Artist Award; Best Performance in a Feature Film - Young Actor Age Ten or Younger Adrian Alonso and negative The Stinkers Bad Movie Awards 2005; The Spencer Breslin Award for Worst Performance by a Child Adrian Alonso. 3 Nominees for an example Imagen Foundation Awards 2006 Imagen Award Best Actor Antonio Banderas.
