Storyline/Characters [Character
developments]/Action/Comedy/Performances:
now and again at some point these components combined; the storyline is
something solid; the viewers meet this criminal in doing this criminal
activity, accompanying this criminal activity the viewers here these many news
reports of this criminal quickly getting a reputation and get given the name of
"The In-and-Out Bandit" or his real name is Tom Dolan/Neeson that is
also an ex-US Marine and demolitions expert, but will do the right thing to
have a clean start with his girlfriend Annie Wilkins/Kate Walsh, but this goes
far than according to plan. The pacing for most part until roughly around Tom
Dolan/Neeson seeking revenge is slow and steady and then after this it gets
fluently moving with a get up and go to it.
I will give you a somewhat detailed
description of this action and comedy sequence of events, but I will miss out
some bits and pieces, because I don't want to give too much away. So we have
Dolan/Neeson and Wilkins/Walsh sitting outside in his van on the far side of
the street from FBI Agent John Nivens/Courtney house/home, he telephones FBI
Agent John Nivens/Courtney, I am paraphrasing here; if he is going to confess
which in a nutshell he declines, so Dolan/Neeson begins counting from 10
downwards with this device in his hand, which FBI Agent John Nivens/Courtney
get the idea he isn't messing around so he quickly escapes from his house just
in time before it explodes, Wilkins/Walsh is briefly amazed by what she sees
and to finish off this section Dolan/Neeson does say and this is just an exact
"If I wanted you dead you would be dead." To highlight that he
doesn't miss; this is all good.
The performances are good or if
this is what the director Mark Williams [written by him and Steve Allrich] was
aiming for they gave it to him.
This film receives: 4/10, this
film is mixed; as this relates to my previous comment these FBI characters to
begin with are blasé about this confession by Dolan/Neeson and I get why what
with other people claiming to be "The In-and-Out Bandit" but there is
being blasé and then there is being; being polite " We couldn't care
less" this in turn doesn't help this film in the slightest it takes the
entire cast to get this film on track again, so after this I would say combined
with the pacing getting up and going, and character types and the performances
but however if you are a fan of either Liam Neeson, Kate Walsh [associated with
the US TV program Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2012 and 2021 amongst other
things,] Jeffrey Donovan as Agent Sean Meyers [best known for the US TV program
Burn Notice 2007-2013 as the lead character Michael Weston and the TV film Burn
Notice: The Fall of Sam Axe; character of the same name,] take a look at this
film and finally when this was first dictated this project has one Nomination
to its name Hawaii Film Critics Society 2021; HFCS Award; Worst Film of the
Year.
