In-depth Predictions/Other elements for AEW All Out 2021 by AverageMansReviews
Just a heads up/Spoiler Alarm!: these matches are mostly in the wrong order and I haven't watched much wrestling content lately due to lack of time and this blog will contain one spoiler.
Best Friends [Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & Wheeler Yuta,] Jurassic Express [Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus with Marko Stunt; not booked in this match] vs. Hardy Family Office [Matt Hardy, Private Party Isiah Kassidy & Marq Quen,The Hybrid 2 [Angélico & Jack Evans;] 10-Man Tag Team Match: my pick in short is Best Friends & Jurassic Express. Basically this is wrestling booking 101 here, if you want to kick off your pay-per-view regardless if it is in the Buy-In or Kick-off show before the pay-per-view in question or in the first match slot on the pay-per-view/the night it is generally speaking good practice to begin your pay-per-view on a positive [maybe the WWE Main Roster hierarchy should pay attention to this] so it creates an atmosphere for the rest of the night to bounce along to; hence why the Babyfaces should go over here.
21-Woman Casino Battle Royale for a AEW Women's World Championship Match: my pick is Hikaru Shida. Because I think she has been away from this Championship picture for the right amount of time, so they could bring her back into the picture, consequently I expect her to be seen again on this night, which I will bring up later. On a quick side note for me it would be Shida or Thunder Rosa [I have just given myself a headache, but I will stick with my original pick because I hate it when I pick something and it usually comes true but I end up over thinking it and go for the other option, but either one of these two would be a great outcome.]
Jon Moxley vs. Satoshi Kojima; Singles Match: my pick is Jon Moxley. Just based on the grounds I know next to nothing about New Japan Pro-Wrestling, I know about a grain of salt or a little bit more than this but that is about it, like this for an example I know this is going to be a good match, because AEW and NJPW individually or together are well-known for putting quality match is on.
Spoiler Warning!: Paul Wright vs. QT Marshall [with Aaron Solo & Nick Comoroto;] Singles Match: my pick is Paul Wright. This looks like another occasion where a veteran is going to return to in ring competition, so they will put over Wright here as someone that has easily still got it, to give him his credibility back, his job here a little bit and next is put over the younger talent in this case this stable known as The Factory [these characters/performers in this paragraph and including Anthony Ogogo; Wright vs. Ogogo would be an excellent pay-per-view match for sometime in the future, especially when they can write a narrative around Wright having a history of losing matches to boxers [WWE WrestleMania 24/2008 against Floyd Mayweather
Chris Jericho vs. MJF; Final Fight Singles Match, If Jericho loses, he must retire from in-ring competition: my pick is MJF. I am not overly happy with my pick here, but the sign of Jericho retiring from in-ring competition has been there and if you cannot read between the lines and you have no idea what I'm talking about; it has been right in front of your face with The 5 Labour's of Jericho [this sounds/looks like a farewell tour to me and the wording/stipulation of Final Fight sets Jericho up to retire from in one competition.] I mean if Jericho was 54 years old, I would say okay if you want to hang up your boots, which is fair enough. But he is only 50 years old and under AEW he could still wrestle for comfortably a few more years, I would have preferred the stipulation of Jericho is banned from wrestling until this pay-per-view in 2022. So to begin with Jericho can focus on putting over members of The Inner Circle but the closer we get to his return we build up to this rematch, I would be more than happy to get this prediction wrong, because I believe Jericho creatively still has a lot to offer in the ring, yes he can eventually do it outside of the ring as well. But whilst he's still has fuel in the tank, I would still like him to have hands-on and not forgetting it would be nice to see MJF getting a little bit of comeuppance for once, But Jericho couldn't have chosen a bigger stage than this pay-per-view to go out on, if he is going to retire from in ring competition, but Jericho can still have a big impact on AEW anyway and one final thing I would expect some kind of bloodshed in this match and the next one is well.
Eddie Kingston vs. the AEW TNT Champion Miro; Singles Match for the AEW TNT Championship: my pick is Eddie Kingston. Now for some strange reason I think there may be either a surprise like a Kip Sabian return to have a hand in making sure of a new AEW TNT Champion or Kingston pushes Miro to his limit, consequently he gets disqualified at Kingston still picks up the win which on top of that he gives Miro a really good feud instead of him running through everybody for a little while.
Lucha Brothers [Penta El Zero Miedo & Rey Fenix with Alex Abrahantes] vs. the AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks [Matt & Nick Jackson with Brandon Cutler;] Steal Cage Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships: my pick is The Young Bucks [Matt & Nick Jackson.] Andrade El Idolo and Chavo Guerrero Jr. with the interference to cost the Lucha Brothers [Miedo & Fenix] these Championships to continue this feud/declining this business opportunity to join them and to turn their backs on PAC. The thing is I really want to see The Death Triangle faction of PAC, Lucha Brothers [Miedo & Fenix with Abrahantes;] yes I know this is a square am not a triangle, but my point is this; this triangle has unbelievable potential not just in a script/characters sense, but in a wrestling sense, I really wanted to make new Champions here, on watching a little bit of AEW Dynamite [about a month and a half ago roughly] I just can't see it happening now and they want to probably/more than likely keep all of these feuds separate and ticking over nicely. But to finish off at some point they really need to put some gold around The Death Triangle before this faction is all said and done it would be an absolute crime against wrestling if this was to never happen.
Kris Statlander vs. the AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker [with Rebel;] Singles Match for the AEW Women's World Championship: my pick is Britt Baker; to then have Shida [or Rosa] come down to save Statlander and to get in the face of Baker, because she is the new No1, because of events before this pay-per-view.
CM Punk vs. Darby Allin [with Sting;] Singles Match: my pick is the Draw. Yes it is very true I didn't want Punk anywhere around this company, based on the grounds at the time he was asking for lots of money, I don't want anyone around this company that's solely focused on money obviously everyone has got to get paid. But wrestling historians will back me up here, when I say I just don't want another situation like WCW where in short they were burning through money at one point to get these massive names and mix that with terrible scripts and eventually went out of business, but if Punk has come to AEW to buy in to what they are doing, trying to stay away from controversy and be sensible with his financial package; then he can be a great asset to AEW; no I am not backtracking here but if he can do these things then I would be stupid not to see him as a great asset and if you're wondering where I said I don't want him to be anywhere around this company; you will find it here The Building of: WWE vs. All Elite Wrestling Volume 21 Link https://averagemansreviews2017.blogspot.com/2020/07/the-building-of-wwe-vs-all-elite.html. The reason why I have gone for the draw is I believe it will put over both competitors; Punk will give Allin the rub and Allin will put Punk over as he hasn't missed a step, I know if it isn't the draw I expect Punk to pick up the W. here [like 99.9%, because it has just hit me where this pay-per-view is being held; in Chicago; Punk's hometown.] But again I would have prefer if they save that for the rematch, because as I have just illustrated there is too much to positively game here from the draw, but in the rematch them to go with Punk vs. Allin one-on-one without Sting being at ringside.
The Impact World Champion Christian Cage vs. the AEW World Champion Kenny Omega [with Don Callis;] Singles Match for the AEW World Championship: my pick is Kenny Omega; with the dusty finish/assist from Callis. Now this is purely based on speculation again but why can I see at the next AEW pay-per-view down the line; AEW: Full Gear 2021 there being a rematch but with these two stipulations; the first being in a structure of a Cage Match and both of these Championships on the line; yes as I have previously just disclosed I haven't seen much wrestling content, but with my many years of watching wrestling, it would seem logical that they are heading this way as they have after this had one match each for each Championship and the Cage is just to keep everyone out in theory [or based on the fact I am dictating this predictions from back to front, because I had more time, I have just realised they are using a Steel Cage Match stipulation here at this pay-per-view, it may be a Ladder Match where any outcome these two competitors are protected from the loss either way they want to do it]. Meaning continuing with speculation this would be an excellent place and time to debut Daniel Danielson to assist Cage, by keeping out the other members of The Elite. I mean I really wouldn't rush his debut, but wait for a big event such as AEW: Full Gear 2021; lastly this pay-per-view looks like lots of fun.
