In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE SummerSlam 2021 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up: these matches may be in the wrong order and I haven't been keeping up-to-date with the most recent product. But as you will see I think they could have some great potential matches down the line if they play their cards right would mean they will probably screw it up or they have missed a golden situation where any outcome would be a win-win combination, but silly me I have just remembered the hierarchy of this company doesn't do long-term booking or anything more than three weeks on the Main Rosters or more matches get added to the card, the more matches get added to this card I am like boring.

Charlotte Flair vs. Rhea Ripley vs. the WWE Raw Women's Champion Nikki A.S.H.; Triple Threat Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship: my pick is Nikki A.S.H. If I had to be a little bit more specific she takes the opportunity to quickly roll up someone to retain;] Becky Lynch makes her return and makes it obvious what she has come back for which is the WWE Raw Women's Championship with her staring down A.S.H.

Rey & Dominik Mysterio vs. the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso;] Tag Team Match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships: my pick is Rey & Dominik Mysterio. Consequently yes I am very much aware that it makes these Championships even more worthless with them being essentially hot potatoes between these two tech teams, but then again that isn't a great loss, I am going with the narrative that it feeds into another match later on; on this pay-per-view.

Damian Priest vs. the WWE United States Champion Sheamus; Singles Match for the WWE United States Championship: my pick is Damian Priest. Please make this happen, because Priest deserves a push and needs to be doing something much, much better than what he has been doing so far on the Raw feuding with Miz and Morrison with or without Bunny by his side. Priest could be/should be a big deal if they were to put a rocket on his back, but then again the hierarchy of the Main Rosters; Mr McMahon has as great vision as Mr. Magoo.

Drew McIntyre vs. Jinder Mahal Singles Match Veer and Shanky are banned from ringside: my pick is Jinder Mahal. Now obviously I know some people are laughing out there at my pick here, but this is a case of WWF/WWE booking; meaning they will probably use this play; out of their very old and ancient playbook. Where to give this new trio credibility and the street credibility Mahal will pick up the W. via Veer and Shanky interference; yes I really don't care about the recently added stipulation; this is only here to protect McIntyre from the loss. Now is it me or is McIntyre slowly drifting down the card or is this a holding feud for him until the 2021 WWE Draft? Because I get to the history between Mahal and McIntyre being another trio consisting of Heath Slater and these two individuals by the name of 3MB and at one point or another both of them being individually the WWE Champion. But for me McIntyre is such a big fish he should be doing better things, maybe not around Championships for awhile but working with a new guy like Keith Lee and they have them beat the hell out of one another, because whatever the result or results may be it reinforces your possible mid-card or main event scene for here and now and the future as in if this is what they can do to one another just in a Singles Match, imagine what they will do to one another when there is a Championship on the line which in turn would galvanise any Championship in the future which they were feuding over be it a mid-card or main event Championship.

Goldberg vs. the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley [with MVP] Singles Match for the WWE Championship: my pick is Bobby Lashley. Yes it is very true I haven't been keeping up-to-date with things, but this match just smells of WWE Extreme Rules 2021 build up here and yes this is purely based on speculation mixed in with a little bit of fact [the fact being Goldberg cannot do long matches any more,] so in short Lesnar will return to cause the disqualification to protect Goldberg, Lashley remains as Champion to set up Lesnar vs. Goldberg vs. the WWE Champion Lashley [with MVP;] Triple Threat Match for the WWE Champion at WWE Extreme Rules 2021.

Sasha Banks vs. the SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair Singles Match for the SmackDown Women's Championship: my pick is Bianca Belair. Now once again this is speculation/opinion they are very close to running this feud into the ground, because this is how I see it; we have had them feuding at WWE WrestleMania 37/2021: Night 1, here and I can guarantee you it will end in a disqualification for Banks, so Belair retains here but they will have another match at WWE Extreme Rules 2021 possibly/more than likely a stipulation around the web and which Bank users here for the SmackDown Women's Championship which Banks will win; which Belair will win it back by the end of the year at WWE TLC 2021.

Edge vs. Seth Rollins; Singles Match: my pick is Edge. The hierarchy of this company have really missed a golden opportunity here, by not adding A No1 Contenders for the WWE Universal Championship Stipulation. You see any combination between these four characters/performers Edge, Rollins, Cena and Reigns [with Heyman] is very much worthy of headlining a pay-per-view at some point.

RK-Bro [Randy Orton & Riddle] vs. the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions AJ Styles and Omos; Tag Team match for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships: my pick is RK-Bro [Randy Orton & Riddle.] But honestly who cares I really like/enjoy tag team wrestling. But at this point and with the Main Rosters being the way they are who cares about any individual Championship or Tag Team Championships, but back to here and now even though I haven't been up-to-date with the current product, it isn't like Styles and Omos has been doing much with these Championships in their reign anyway and one other thing could they not come up with a better Tag Team than RK-Bro, newsflash it isn't 2006 any more [Rated-RKO.] I mean they could have gone for something like "Vipers in the Grass" I mean that took me about 15 minutes to come up with. But whomever wins here it is just going to be the at least 80% the same at WWE Extreme Rules 2021 and I know RK-Bro has broken up and got back together again or something, but I throw you back toit isn't like Styles and Omos has been doing much with these Championships in their reign anyway so they may just go with something different here, okay possibly more than likely the same garbage, but at least it will different garbage.

Alexa Bliss [with Lily] vs. Eva Marie [with Piper Niven:] my pick is Alexa Bliss. But unfortunately this is another case where I have to say who cares, because the WWE hierarchy have thrown Bliss under the bus as it relates to the entire Wyatt situation, I have no idea why they brought Marie back when on one hand they are doing all of these pay-cuts specifically in this case to their young female talent which based on my memory of the last time Marie was under contract with the WWE she didn't wrestle much or because of her last gimmick before being released or leaving in 10/02/2017 not actually wrestling if my memory is correct so I could be wrong; it was basically finding different ways not to wrestle or be in a match to eventually being forced to wrestle or something like this, we didn't have the pay-off to this because she had got released or left. Which swiftly moves me onto the other hand when you have a competent wrestler in Piper Niven standing right there and yes I refuse to call her; her WWE Main Roster gimmick name of Doudrop, because it is so very stupid and yes if you have been with me long enough what I am basically saying is this; I refused to call Chad Gable Shorty G at that point in history based on essentially the same reasoning, you have to excellent wrestlers in Gable and Niven and the hierarchy of this company gives them two immature names/gimmicks so they can't be taken seriously or move around the card and be seen as a real threat to anything be it a feud or a Championship or Championships [but then again who would want the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships anyway; they are just very expensive paperweights at this point who is the current Champions?; I mean as we speak they are not on this card so that tells you how much this company thinks of them.] Just for the record if anyone cares the current WWE Women's Tag Team Championships are Natalya and Tamina, I remembered after looking it up [when this was first being dictated to it looks like that Natalya is currently out injured.] But my comment about these Championships and in short being paperweights still stands, because even way before these current Champions the damage to these Championships has already been done as it relates to their reputation and seriously lacking of prestigious value to them but then again you can say that about the men's equivalent on the Main Roster as well in fairness and balance. But then again it is just come to me why doesn't this company just have one pair of these Men's Championships over the Main Roster Brands that way it forces/it is a very, very quick and easy and incredibly lazy way to manufacture a Division for these Championships, yes absolutely this Division will be an absolute shambles of human excrement, but it will be mildly better than the current situations and unfortunately just retire the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, because they have filled their purpose [a part of the publicity stunt of The Women's Revolution and not forgetting WWE Evolution which is now coming up to its fourth anniversary 28/10/2018.] But now these Championships are pretty much gone the way of Old Yeller.

John Cena vs. the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns [with Paul Heyman;] Singles match for the WWE Universal Championship: my pick is Roman Reigns. But this is déjà vu on three counts [okay the third count is a little bit of stretch but you will get my point when you get to the third point] the first is; who cares about this match! Based on the grounds we have been here once already WWE No Mercy 2017 [24/09/2017] Roman Reigns vs. John Cena: Singles Match where in short this feud at this time was designed to put over Reigns and in essence it was to point out that Reigns wasn't doing his job correctly and that was to be the next guy to carry this company hence why Cena was brought back. Now fast-forward to now and this feud, it just feels like even though I haven't watched 99.9% of this I have seen some of Cena's 1-2-3 promo [on SmackDown Friday 30/08/2021] and yes it was top-class, but however he does point out so much more than what he actually says and does, this is purely speculation/my opinion again/accidental, well I am going with it is purely accidental based on the grounds even Mr McMahon wouldn't be this stupid to willingly point out/bury their current product on the Main Rosters you know that they haven't built up anyone or more behind or around Reigns to be a foe or something like that and I know Reigns is meant to be "The Tribal Chief" but without competition or characters/performers that can offer something different but can bring something to the table things can become stale and so on and so forth, but then again I have just realised I have pretty much summed up the Main Roster product and problems.

I feel that they may try to come up with a pay-per-view narrative on the night where because The Usos [Jey & Jimmy Uso] lost their Championships; Jey gets concerned and voices those concerns that his real life cousin Reigns may lose his Universal Championship as well to Cena, which Reigns does not tolerate and says something to the effect of " It isn't going to happen believe in that." So to somewhat speed this up expect Jey to get involved with a dusty finish to this match Jimmy may try and stop his real life twin brother after getting involved but Jey achieves his objective so they argue and whilst they argue they go back to the locker room. So Cena is somewhat protected by the loss here, but this is one of those rare occasions where if the WWE were smart they would have a payoff here where Reigns and Cena continue fighting, Cena hits an Attitude Adjustment and look who comes down to the ring Big E. and clashes in his Money In The Bank Contract to become your New WWE Universal Champion which Cena hands over the WWE Universal Champion [a passing the torch to Big E.] and raises his hand like he did with Reigns at WWE No Mercy 2017 [third déjà vu] to put E. over so just to finish off yes Reigns is protected by the loss here and yes I did say who cares about this match, but I didn't say anything about this match slot did I; to finish WWE SummerSlam 2021 on a high.
