Review Time

Warning: I should just say this to cover my back; if I bring up anything it is just based on the fact it is in this film and if you are of a sensitive nature like a snowflake I wouldn't recommend you watch this film as this film when this review/blog was first dictated it is roughly 41 years old; there is flashing/colourful effects/suicide/drugs/beastie allergy reference/under age sexual; for an example a boy and a girl are acting older than what they are physically talking about how they like their coffee/medical

Storyline/Characters [Character developments]/Comedy/Action Art/Performances: these components at one point or another combined. The storyline is good; firstly and ongoing we have this romantic situation between Striker/Heys and Dickinson/Hagerty; Ex's and individually they have their own shimmery effects recalling their time together storyteller in the case of Striker/Heys or him remembering these wartime moments [over Macho Grande] or Dickinson/Hagerty remembering their time together and on top of that we have this situation quickly developing and all I can say about that is "Don't eat the fish." The piece of this project is likewise good as the comedy is in some way a continuous presence and as it relates to the comedy I will just give you some examples of it, so I can pick the relatively safe ones to leave in this review; a parody of from Saturday Night Fever 1977, McCroskey/Bridges choosing a bad week to give up these things [it changes every time.  Dr. Rumack/Nielsen says "I just want to tell you both good luck. We're all counting on you." [He repeats this sentence/sequence; during and after this situation as well.]

The performances are all good there is really good on-screen chemistry from everyone involved in this project but there is someone that stands head and shoulders above everyone else and that would be Leslie Nielsen as Dr. Rumack; his deadpan delivery is spot on and it is of the highest order; serious or comical he just delivers it the same way with our breaking character.

This film receives: 7/10, this film is good: as I have just said this film is good and it knows what it is trying to deliver and deliver on that it does by being bonkers. It also has some Awards to its name in total 10; 3 Winners; to represent the Winners; Online Film & Television Association 2021; OFTA Film Hall of Fame; Motion Picture and National Film Preservation Board, USA 2010; National Film Registry. 7 Nominations; to represent the Nominations The Stinkers Bad Movie Awards 1980 Nominee; Stinker Award Worst Performance by a Child in a Featured Role; Jill Whelan. Young Artist Awards 1981; Nominee Young Artist Award; Best Young Comedienne; Jill Whelan [and separate] Best Young Comedian Rossie Harris.
