He-Man and the Masters of the Universe [Season 2,] Episode 93: Trouble's Middle Name by AverageMansReviews
Review Time:
5 things about this episode
Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects/transformation
Storyline/Moral message: like the previous episode, these two components have been
sent out with a purpose in mind which is in short and I am paraphrasing here
"The dangers of pushing playing a joke too far."
Prince Adam/He-Man vs. Wolfbats: we have the Art and Action going hand-in-hand in one way
or another; I like the Art here; they are as their name would suggest Wolfbats
they appear in that chronological order. But now slightly moving on; Prince
Adam/He-Man comes up with the idea to create this sandstorm [via Prince
Adam/He-Man very quickly spinning The Sword of Power around his body 360° using
both hands with the Sword being up right to create this sandstorm attack/it
represents its self in the form of a hurricane attack;] consequently these
Wolfbats don't stand a chance as they get blown away with ease.
This episode receives: 5/10, this episode is mixed; likewise this episode has
the same problem as the previous episode from the perspective of the Storyline
and the Moral message have been specifically designed to fulfil a purpose and
like I said or something to the effect of this in the previous episode as well.
I know the Storyline and the Moral message goes in hand-in-hand in this TV
program anyway, but usually not this stiff, compared to this episode and the
previous one, I most definitely preferred one the Storyline and Moral message
still go hand-in-hand either rotating between front and centre for a sequence
or scene or scenes or in the background or any kind of rotation that is
possible, anything but the feeling of spoon feeding your audience in this rigid
manner. [Before I receive feedback; I don't see the Moral message section of
any of the episodes as spoon feeding on their own merit, I see them as talking
about what we have learned today in a pleasant and friendly manner. But to have
the Storyline and the Moral message in this rigid manner comes across as
overkill.] But to leave this episode review on a positive there are some good
Action and Art that goes hand-in-hand here.
