Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWE Hell In A Cell 06/10/2019 Match 8/Part 8/Conclusion by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there are some flashing/colourful effects in their entrances and in the video package which includes horror and potentially unsettling elements as well.

Background information: we get this video package of how we got to be here before this match.

Match/Stipulations: "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs. the Universal Champion "The Beast Slater" Seth Rollins: Hell In A Cell Match for the WWE Universal Championship

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 1/10

Match Storyline: 1/10

Crowd Participation: 10/10

On Commentary: Raw of; Dio Maddin, Vic Joseph & Jerry "The King" Lawler 5/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 1/10

Recommend Watch: 6/10

Match Total: 24/60 - this match is poor

Comments: wow this is quite possibly the worst ever main event in this wrestling promotion's history [it is the worst as far as I can remember; the only reason I have said quite possibly is to cover my back,] but I can't discuss that here; but I can discuss my categories attribute markings here in a nutshell the Crowd Participation: 10/10 is loud and clear okay it is negative, but still it is participation and for the Recommend Watch: 6/10 it is just down to you need to see this match once in your lifetime, just to see how much faecal matter it really is.

I mean the only one that wins here is Mr McMahon; you see right at the end of this pay-per-view we have Bray Wyatt's laugh with dark intent going on and to be completely honest it may as well have been Mr McMahon laughing as he sticks it to his fan base/Universe and not only that he actively harms these three characters/performers, because simply put; everyone here takes a hit to their credibility, no one walks away from this match in a positive light whatsoever [I am including the Referee Darryl Sharma; but I could be wrong if this is him or not, based on this match has been put in "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt's red light.] Now without giving too much away the conclusion of this match is an impossibility, because of the stipulation used as in a Hell In A Cell Match. So on one hand why book this match? Whilst on the other hand if you want it to keep the Universal Championship where it was why didn't they just come up with an air of mystery by the end of this pay-per-view just having Rollins being dragged under the ring by "The Fiend" I mean okay people would have still been furious, but at least it wouldn't have felt a 110% flying the middle fingers to their audience in attendance and many watching around the world.

With their audience booing or chanting refund back, which in this case I believe it would have been the right thing to do [I know this company wouldn't have done this.] But in this situation this is just all kinds of wrong. I have spoken about this match once before and I will leave the link down below of Wasted: “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt vs. the Universal Champion Seth Rollins at WWE Hell In A Cell 2019. But to finish this off we have Lawler making a blooper on commentary where I am paraphrasing here; where he says I was at the first Hell In A Cell Match between The Undertaker vs. Mick Foley; it wasn't Mick Foley it was one of his alter egos Mankind: WWF/WWE King of the Ring 1998; Mankind vs. The Undertaker: Hell In A Match, so well done Lawler for keeping kayfabe alive there.

Basic Result: Draw

This Pay-Per-View receives: 2/10, this Pay-Per-View is poor: this is my first time experiencing the main rosters recent product and man it has been painful to watch and because of this main event match being what it is I had to take off so many marks for this; don't get me wrong there are some positive matches on this card, so I am not being harsh, but this main event, just this main event is diabolical. The crowd where generally speaking a bit all over the place, depending where you are in this pay-per-view with a more they play ball, like for the first two matches and after that they don't give much or do a role reversal kind of thing or rightly furious.

The highest ranking match on this card based on Attributes that we see in full would be: "The Big Dog" Roman Reigns & Daniel Bryan vs. Eric Rowan & Luke Harper: Tornado Tag Team Match with 58/60

The lowest ranking match on this card based on Attributes that we see in full would be: "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs. the Universal Champion "The Beast Slater" Seth Rollins: Hell In A Cell Match for the WWE Universal with 24/60.

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWE Hell In A Cell 06/10/2019 Match 7/Part 7 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there are some flashing/colourful effects in their entrances.

Background information: Graves and Cole are promoting the WWE 2019 Draft, then we have a replay after why we have this match, when our two competitors are in the ring we then have the WWE 24/7 Championship changing hands from Tamina to R-Truth with the assist from Carmella; at some point R-Truth comically intended dose this martial art getting ready to do combat with Funaki sequence [he is a member of the Japanese commentary team; which he does get ready to do combat in a stance which R-Truth continuing in Asian culture by bowing his head and bringing his hands together asking for forgiveness; Tamina shoving Funaki into R-Truth to make a quick getaway.] I am not being a snowflake here, but you know when something is first done to a poor impression and then secondly at this point it was 2019 so times change, so if you add these two individual points together this just looks another clear example of this wrestling promotion is stuck in the 2000's.

After this match; we have a on the spot interview with Shorty Gable being interviewed by Kayla Braxton where she accidentally calls Gable Shorty Gable and he says basically in short call me what you like and make some short references of his own in this interview/promo and then he is attacked by King Corbin, so they are really pushing/foreshadowing repackaging of Chad Gable into Shorty G, nice and subtle there aren't you WWE; Not! which because I have brought this up earlier in this pay-per-view I will just leave the link of this match if you want to know what I think of this new gimmick.

Match/Stipulations: Charlotte Flair vs. the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley: Singles Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Match Attributes:

Satisfying Conclusion: 6/10

Match Total: 37/60 - this match is good

Comments: as I have already said this match is good, but the before or after things really do cheapen this match and not give it the respect it rightly deserves, as I have already made reference to in that paragraph at the top, but now including Bayley almost in tears [the camera spending way too long on this and throughout this segment/match she is showing more evidence as things go along of turning Heel.]

Basic Result: Charlotte Flair is your New WWE SmackDown Women's Championship

Pay-Per-View Rewind of: WWE Hell In A Cell 06/10/2019 Match 6/Part 6 by AverageMansReviews - Spoiler Alarm!

Warning: there are some flashing/colourful effects in their entrances.

Background information: we have a backstage segment in short with The Street Profits [Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford:] promoting the WWE Draft 2019, Tyson Fury and  Braun Strowman will be on tomorrow's RAW [it isn't like they put this across in the previous match on commentary, Oh wait they did.] Then we have Tamina becoming the New 24/7 Champion, Defeating Carmella and after this we had a package of where we are in this feud King Corbin and Chad Gable, but be honest I couldn't care about this feud.

Match/Stipulation: King Corbin vs. Chad Gable: Singles Match

Match Attributes:

Match Quality: 7/10

Match Storyline: 4/10

Crowd Participation: 7/10

On Commentary: SmackDown of; Cory Graves & Michael Cole 2/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 3/10

Recommend Watch: 3/10

Match Total: 26/60 - this match is mixed

Comments:  they did really spoil this match so much so I was just glad when it was over with. So we have Corbin making short jokes at Gable's expense, then we have Corbin dubbing Gable progressive name change to "Shorty Gable" [which eventually it will change to Shorty G; which if you don't know I absolutely hated this gimmick, I honestly  refused to say it.]

Simply because I have only seen a little bit of Gable's work, but he is another talent that just screams main event status, but because of his height and this company being against average or less height talents on the main rosters, the hierarchy are highly unlikely to allow him to achieve what anywhere else he could achieve.

It is crystal clear that Graves [Heel] has been given the task to really push the narrative of this slow transformation/new gimmick, because man he really does push it, Cole [Babyface] defending Gable and even the SmackDown ring-announcer Greg Hamilton acknowledge this as he announces "."

Even though the crowd where engaged in this match there was a chant of "Boring, Boring, Boring." I will be discussing the crowd participation in the conclusion of this pay-per-view.

Basic Result: Shorty Gable goes over here.

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Hell In A Cell 2021 by AverageMansReviews

In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Hell In A Cell 2021 by AverageMansReviews

Just a heads up/Spoilers in this blog: these matches may be in the wrong order and on top of that I can quite easily like 85% see of these singles Championships not changing hands, so what I am suggesting here is I suspect that this pay-per-view is just going to be a holding pattern until the WWE Draft 2021 that is going to take place RAW Monday 30/08/2021 and Friday SmackDown 03/09/2021.

Just to add weight to my point has of Saturday 19/06/2021 and there are no signs of a Intercontinental or United States or WWE Raw or WWE SmackDown Men's [yes I don't care who has hold of them in fact now Reigns is off this pay-per-view due to retaining his Universal Championship against Ray in a Hell In A Cell Match on last night's SmackDown on this pay-per-view Rey and Dominik Mysterio are now free to defend their WWE SmackDown Men's Tag Team Championships against anybody; you know do an open challenge; I mean they are clearly going to win, but it would be the way of a little surprised and at least another reason for why people should watch this pay-per-view.

Don't worry I haven't forgotten the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships, this is speculation on my part, but they will probably be announced to be put on the kickoff show, because they need a match on there; yea the woman's revolution; I am not being disrespectful to women performers, but at least they are getting treated as the male equivalents of these Championships good to see the WWE main roster showing equality.

But I have more evidence here; Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn: Singles Match [WWE WrestleMania 37/2021: Night 2 and here,] Bayley vs. the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair; Singles Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship [WrestleMania Backlash 2021 and here;] Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn: Singles Match [WWE WrestleMania 37/2021: Night 2 and here] and Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins: Singles Match [WWE WrestleMania 37/2021: Night 1 and here.] I have no doubt this match is will be good, but it does add weight to this holding pattern and the final cherry on top of this cake is they are running these positive options/matches into the ground, but then again this wrestling promotion is well-known for doing this with anything positive or a positive option providing it has been given time to breathe at some point which they don't do this for like 99.9% of the time.

Alexa Bliss vs. Shayna Baszler; Singles Match: my pick is No Contest; I haven't been in the wrestling universe for some time, but Alexa Bliss I still think without a shadow of doubt they have really screwed up with individually or together "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt/Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss; they could have really made a year or more of content to begin with and slowly made something special and I am talking about the level of The Undertaker, yes it wouldn't have been the same which don't want it to be, but they could have carried on the mantle of darkness within the WWE Universe. But then again everyone knows that this wrestling promotion struggles to even comprehend medium-range booking, that is a foreign concept from our planet to them, so you may as well be speaking Klingon as it relates to long-term booking and real vision, so as it relates to this pay-per-view I expect Lily [Bliss' soft toy] to get involved.

Spoiler incoming in the next paragraph!

[Yes I originally went for Bliss for my pick and prediction but that was until this.] Something has just dawned on me which I am hoping I am wrong so, so wrong, I expect something supernatural/horror to happen, but what I really want to be wrong about is the result; consequently the result will be a no contest or something to this effect, because firstly it would protect everyone in this match and secondly they did this two years ago with "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt vs. the WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins: Hell In A Cell Match for the WWE Universal Championship [Match ended due to stoppage.] I know it isn't exactly the same situation, but I can see it coming from miles and miles away, like I have said I am hoping I am so, so wrong; but then again I know by many years of experience this is the kind of thing that would float Mr McMahon's boat, meaning we would absolutely hate this, but Mr McMahon would find it highly comical because we hated, because that is the kind of person he is and considering this entire universe meaning the entire WWE Universe minus NXT is designed for the audience of one; the one being him I wouldn't put this outcome past him in the slightest. Where is Wally? Oh apologies I was meant to say where is Bray Wyatt/"The Fiend?" I mean I know I haven't been around much lately but I do know he has been missing since losing to Randy Orton at WWE WrestleMania 37/2021; Night 2; Sunday night 11/04/2021 and that was roughly 2 months ago give or take

Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn Singles Match: my pick is Sami Zayn; just based on when they previously met Owens picked up the W. so yes what I am suggesting here is 50-50 booking which this company likes to do.

Cesaro vs. Seth Rollins; Singles Match: my pick is Seth Rollins; just copy and paste most of what I said in the previous match just replace Sami Zayn with Seth Rollins

Bayley vs. the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair; Singles Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship: my pick is Bianca Belair, Bayley is just here to take the loss, which if this is the case this will slowly but surely eat away at her credibility, but we all know this; this is not exactly breaking news; this is the biggest problem with replaying matches time after time, not only does it get stale it damages these characters/talents yes it damages the loser's quicker, but in my opinion it also damages the Champion or Champions, based on the grounds either repetitive No1 Contender or Contenders or it can be done as long as it makes sense in storyline, but even this has a limited number of uses back to back [I know 50-50 booking has been made into a filthy thing because of this company and its main roster, but this method if used properly and not lazily like most things in wrestling it has its uses you see AEW from day one have created this atmosphere of most of the time anyone can beat anyone or if they don't they look better for having this match or the Champion or Champions had to really work on retaining their Championship's here, generally speaking they don't have squash matches;] basically thriving divisions, makes thriving competition, makes thriving Champion or Champions. I think in hindsight this is why people or most people want to see a talent ex-WWE talent at AEW or between them and Impact, just so we can see what they can do in the ring with their creative choices being taken away from them, so this is nothing against Bayley or Belair; it is just when things are thriving your viewers of your product don't mind seeing occasional or consistent rematches depending on the storyline, as long as creatively/storyline they understand this No1 Contender has been in some matches or done something to get here by picking up the W's it doesn't matter how they do it depending on their character.

Charlotte Flair vs. the WWE Raw Women's Champion Rhea Ripley; Singles Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship: my pick is Charlotte Flair; I absolutely hate my pick here, because I have a feeling of déjà vu here [Charlotte vs. the WWE NXT Women's Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 36/2020: Nigh 1, where Charlotte became the new  the WWE NXT Women's Champion, consequently of what I heard from online and her at the time this situation took her ages to recover from as in momentum and getting back into her groove.

I originally went for Ripley here, but I feel the force is too strong here for once again Mr McMahon not to do a "Stone Cold Steve" Austin two fingers salute to his Universe and really get his laughs in and I guarantee if this does turn out to be the case Charlotte and consequently the Raw Women's Singles Division will get more on-screen time; not to show more of what these women wrestlers can do, don't be silly that would be too progressive, it is just going to be a case of the Charlotte show again and Mr McMahon will probably see this as a rating draw for Raw which I couldn’t think of anything worse other than maybe having Hulk Hogan back on TV and not forgetting putting on those glorified house shows/pay-per-views in the Middle East.

Drew McIntyre vs. the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley [with MVP]Last Chance Hell in A Cell Match for the WWE Championship: my pick is Bobby Lashley; only this wrestling promotion can make a match seem must-see, should be good fun but also predictable consequently it completely undermines the must-see factor.

Because they have used the wording/stipulation of "Last Chance" they have telegraphed that McIntyre will be heading to SmackDown when the Draft comes round; which should be great, because since he has lost the WWE Championship, is it me or has he lost some of his mojo, what do I know I haven't been around for awhile I hasten to add this is not down to McIntyre it is because of people above him and the hierarchy, but I didn't need to know this draft move well before schedule or before this match at the very least. Now consequently because of this; I suspect a dusty finish, I mean I did beforehand anyway what with MVP being around it could be him or another person, but if it is someone from SmackDown currently that will also indicate McIntyre's potential/probable first feud on SmackDown.

On Commentary: SmackDown of; Cory Graves & Michael Cole 7/10

Satisfying Conclusion: 7/10

Recommend Watch: 7/10

Match Total: 40/60 - this match is good

Comments: as I have just said this match is good, it is solid in this match slot; I now find it incredibly difficult to get invested in these Championships or the Men's equivalents on the main roster, because this company have treated these divisions as dumping grounds for talent for when they have nothing better for them to do. Unfortunately I have been proven right about the Women's Revolution just being a publicity stunt for most parts [yes we had Bianca Belair vs. the WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Sasha Banks: Singles Match for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship main event WrestleMania 37/2021; Night 1 and other matches headline other pay-per-view or another WrestleMania 35/2019 this was just the most recent one,] but this not enough in fact be you men or are women or other everything should be progressing forward in short they should be saying " That was okay it gives us something to work on but we could do better and we will do better" and no I'm not talking about the talent here I'm talking about the people above them and the hierarchy of this company; it isn't like they don't have the talent to do this because they do, it just takes firstly vision, secondly creative plans which last more than three weeks without a contingency, so a contingency plan would be very useful and finally time.

The Kabuki Warriors [Asuka & Kairi Sane's] entrance is just a massive pile of laziness it is just a mash of their two individual entrances together, I mean at the time I heard about it from online; it's like someone had forgotten or left their homework until the last minute and just said "Oh I need to come up with something quick, Oh wait that will do, no one will know it took me about five seconds to come up with problem solved." I mean individually or together these two women are excellent at wrestling [full disclosure I have only seen little bits and pieces of Sane, but it is transparently clear she can wrestle.]

Oh I have just remembered this is the WWE so on the main rosters they don't treat the very high percentage as real deals so I get it now. Just to cover my back I am not saying racist here, this is the ethos of the main rosters and it has been this way for decades so that is why I can say this with ease, because I have decades of history on my side and obviously I don't say this with happiness either, because I don't care where the talent comes from or what gender you are; if you prove and you are good enough or bring something to the table that is all I am interested in.

I would have given The Kabuki Warriors [Asuka & Kairi Sane] everything to make them a real colossal deal to build this Tag Team Division around them so they can just build it up into something in-depth, engaging and competitive; but like  most great opportunities that the WWE has at their disposal and consequently goes to waste based on the lack of vision and creative plans.

Basic Result: The Kabuki Warriors [Asuka & Kairi Sane] are your New WWE Women's Tag Team Championships
