In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE WrestleMania
37/2021: Night 2 by AverageMansReviews
Just a quick heads up: these matches may be in the wrong order.
Natalya & Tamina vs. the WWE Women's Tag Team
Champions Nia Jax & Shayna Baszle [with Reginald:] Tag Team Match for the
WWE Women's Tag Team Championships: my pick is Natalya & Tamina, I have pretty much lost interest
in these Championships, so I don't care and don't get me wrong I like my tag
team wrestling of any gender or it could be mixed but like the men's tag team
versions they are absolutely worthless, but at the very least the WWE in this
case are showing excellent equality here as in men's or women's tag team
wrestling on the Main Rosters they are happily giving the "Stone
Cold" Steve Austin salute to all of tag team wrestling, but hey as I have
already said at least they are showing excellent equality here, so I suppose
that is good and if my guess is correct just based on respect and long-term
service to the WWE it is good Natalya is going to be given one half of these
Championships; yes I am trying to find the positives out of this situation,
just so I don't come across as completely negative all the time about the WWE.
Sheamus vs. the United States Champion Riddle: Singles
Match for the United States Championship; my
pick is Sheamus, if they go with a Championship change of hands here, could
they please just put it on Sheamus to attempt to rebuild this Championship and
the Division/Mid Card on RAW? And likewise like Natalya it is well deserved,
because firstly of his long service to this company and secondly more
importantly what I have heard and seen from other people's content, Sheamus is in the best form of his career as
it relates to his in ring work. But I strongly doubt they will go with Sheamus
rebuilding this Championship's credibility or prestige or Division/Mid-Card,
because speculation on my part here, it looks like quite possibly we will get
another domination of Baron Corbin and a faction involving him and this has
worked out really well in the past hasn't it WWE? [If you cannot pick up on the
sarcasm, I am being sarcastic,] of what I can remember they tried this on both
Main Brand's already and yes on SmackDown there was a little time it was given
Main Event status so they could involve Reigns yes I am making reference to the
dog food thing and I know on SmackDown we didn't get to see much of one of his
trios based on Steve Cutler got released from his WWE contract and Wesley Blake is at this point still under contract with the WWE, I have just spent a little while
trying to find out the name of this trio and I can't; but let's just move on to
the next match shall we.
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn: Singles Match; my pick is Sami Zayn, I was genuinely looking forward to this
match based on the grounds that when these two meet they bring down the house.
But after the inclusion of Logan, I am not interested in the slightest; because
it is so obvious he is going to get involved after Owens spoiled his
Debut/Premier of his documentary on SmackDown Friday 02/04/2021.
Apollo Crews vs. the Intercontinental Champion Big E:
Nigerian Drum Fight for the WWE Intercontinental Championship; my pick is Apollo Crews, if Crews cannot win a stipulation which
has been built for his character in mind there is a real problem, I should
point out this is another match I have no interest in. Because it doesn't
scream out WrestleMania and on top of that as I stressed in previous content;
In-depth Predictions/Other elements for WWE Fastlne 2021; I will leave the link
down below, I just see at some point down the line massive problems with
Crews'new gimmick. Is it me or has this current Intercontinental Championship
run been really uneventful for Big E or have I missed something here? When are
the hierarchy of this company going to realize that Big E is big money, as far
as I'm concerned Big E is in the model of Ron
Simmons/Faarooq, without being disrespectful to Simmons E. is possibly more
athletic, I just get this feeling E has more to offer than what we have seen so
far on the Main Rosters and no this is not his fault, if the hierarchy give him
a decent program with the Intercontinental Championship and let's see what he
can do with that, I mean I would put him in the Main Event picture, but at this
precise moment there is lots going on here and he would possibly get lost here,
I know he has a big personality but when you have Bryan, Edge, Jey Uso, and
Reigns with Heyman, I wouldn't feel comfortable putting E in the mix as well,
because in a nutshell what I would be doing is throwing E in the deep end,
knowing full well he is just there to make up the numbers. I have absolutely no
doubt he would give me his best and make an impact in some way, but I would
feel if it goes well; it goes well, but if it doesn't it could set him back
like Charlotte vs. the NXT Women's Champion Ripley at WrestleMania last here
for Ripley when she lost that match, it just to clarify and to cover my back I am
just saying there is too many characters/performers in the Main Event picture
if I was to add E, so for now I will take the Intercontinental Championship
picture, but sooner or later I would strap a rocket to his back and push him to
the moon to go one-on-one with someone like may be Reigns; win, lose or draw to
make a statement he is a Main Event caliber player.
But I have heard and seen this particular feud
here match wise has been positive, but this dark cloud is now hanging over this
feud of Crews'new gimmick, I would prefer E. to retain here. But as I have
already stated it would most definitely harm Crews'new persona/gimmick to lose
back to back Intercontinental Championship opportunities especially this one,
because as I have already said the stipulation is designed for his character in
mind and not forgetting a tiny detail this is happening at the grandest stage
in all of wrestling; WrestleMania so I know Crews' persona/gimmick is
relatively new, but if he doesn't win here, what was/is the point of giving him
a new persona/gimmick if after a short time with it he is going to be very much
dead in the waters.
The Fiend vs. Randy Orton: Singles Match; my pick is The Fiend, obviously this match in one way or another
is going to be some kind of spectacle to watch, but after this; please let this
feud end WWE.
Rhea Ripley vs. the Raw Women's Champion Asuka: Singles
Match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship; my pick is Rhea Ripley, this match should be good. But once again
it will be at the expense of Asuka, so WWE if you are going to give it to
Ripley, does that mean we are going to see more women's wrestling on RAW and it
have a decent storyline miles away from the love triangle thing between
Charlotte Flair, Lacy Evans and Ric Flair? But at least it isn't another
undeserved Championship run for Charlotte hey we will take the rough with the
smooth here.
Edge vs. Daniel Bryan vs. the Universal Champion Roman
Reigns [with Paul Heyman:] Triple Threat match for the WWE Universal
Championship; my pick is Edge, likewise this match should be good as
well if a tiny little bit predictable Edge is going to pin Bryan; to give this
picture-perfect moment at WrestleMania for Edge and to end this Pay-Per-View on
and it protects Reigns from the loss so he remains looking as this dominating
force with Heyman and Jey Uso just minus the Universal Championship; it has
just come to me Reigns is going to enter the Men's Money in the Bank Match,
either officially or taking someone out to take their spot even possibly
telling Jey “I am taking your spot “ and cash it in on Edge in some way; they
would have to give Edge sometime with this Championship and the big stage to do
this Championship changing hands again so if I had to put money on it I am
going to say WWESummerSlam 2021 your New Universal Champion Roman Reigns.
Generally speaking I would have been more up for this
WrestleMania if the build up wasn't so poor on some of these matches over these
two nights or actually put some time and effort into the Women's Tag Team
Championships or Division, I mean they could have just had one match and I
don't know put the SmackDown Men Tag Team Championships somewhere over these
two nights, instead of leaving it off the weekend. I genuinely had to go and
genuinely do some research on who are the current holders of these
Championships; The Dirty Dawgs [Robert Roode & Dolph Ziggler.] So you are
telling me they couldn't have this tag team hold a open invitational for anyone
to challenge them at WrestleMania this year? [Yes I have just found out they defended their Championship's on the SmackDown before WrestleMania, Friday 09/04/2021.] But still they couldn't have a big surprise
like a tag team from NXT debut here to pick up these Championships, I know like
the Raw versions they are worthless or to be fair have been treated as
worthless, but you may as well try and do something positive to build new stars
or rebuild the SmackDown Tag Team Division from the ground up, at this current
point it is just buried 16 foot under with rubble on top of it of what used to
stand a SmackDown Men's Tag Team Division.
