Review Time:

5 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing effects/other effects/electrocution/medical procedure/face making/facial scarring.

Storyline/Too much character developments/New face/Checkers: in one way or another these four components or elements go hand-in-hand and not for all positive reasons.

The storyline is something safe and reliable, but once again the character developments and yes I know I keep going on and on about this; but what am I meant to do when this TV program keeps on doing the same thing time after time. So everything minus the two characters I will be discussing later is now looking and feeling forced, so unnatural, a knee-jerk reaction response [I will bring this up later as well,] trying to close the void between the other characters and these two characters, so in short they are heading right up the creek without a paddle.

But on to the glorious positives of the character developments and on-screen chemistry of these two characters Beth Kane/Alice and Jonathan "Johnny" Cartwright/Mouse; if you have seen this TV program it should be absolutely no surprise to you I have brought these two characters up again, everything about these two characters individually or together is priceless to this TV program, because they are beautifully, lovingly, caringly insane to really cement the idea that everything they do has this sense of normality to it; be it when Beth Kane/Alice is artistically finishing off this new face for her Stepbrother [made from real flesh] this is good art and character development and caringly assisting him to put on his disguise  or when in a nutshell Jonathan "Johnny" Cartwright/Mouse; he wants to let his Stepsister win this game of Checkers, because he puts over to the viewers by his body language, mannerisms and dialogue; he knows what is coming next; as Beth Kane/Alice doesn't like losing which is illustrated by her being angry and her tipping the checkers board over upside down; this is also good character development, on-screen chemistry and good comedy between these two characters.

Individually for a second Jonathan "Johnny" Cartwright/Mouse is now firmly besides his stepsister as it relates to his and their all round character developments; they are just on two different sides of the insane coin Beth Kane/Alice will think everything out to the smallest detail, whilst Jonathan "Johnny" Cartwright/Mouse comes across as intelligent, but he just goes in for getting the job done as in point, aim, shoot job done.

This episode receives: 6/10, this episode is good; now if you were wondering if I had forgotten about the knee-jerk reaction. I hadn't I just wanted to bring it up here. I don't know what they are thinking of doing this knee-jerk reaction response thing; it just feels really desperate, really obvious that they know something isn't right and they are trying to remedy it as soon as possible, but as you can probably tell from this review it is spectacularly failing.
