Review Time

Warning: this film is anime with robotics showing/body elements showing on different levels and death so in short I wouldn't recommend showing this project to children; stick to the certificate which is a 15.

Storyline/Characters/Performances: it is excellent; it has a solid ending if you were going to build a sequel off from here this feels like a good place to stop that kind of thing; there is more going on here than what is just on the surface [I will discuss this more in a minute,] the pacing is something safe and reliable.

Now back on to the storyline, but this time I will include the character developments; because without giving too much away as I have already said there is more going on here than what is just on the surface; on the surface in a nutshell we have this Cops and Criminal thing going on; but deep down beyond that we have two main characters [yes I have deliberately chose this wording as to not give too much away;] individually either questioning, wanting to experience more out of life than what they are designed to do, but as it relates to one character this individual cannot, because if they were to leave their job they would have to give back their robotic and other elements, basically there wouldn't be much of them left after that, basically they would be like a brain in a jar [the nicer version is where the TV program Futurama 1999 - 2013 put heads in a jar.]

There is more than enough here to suggest; we the human race are just a Ghost in the Shell, but we have the ability to break our program at every stage of our growth based on many factors in our lifespan.

So as you can see/read the storyline and the character developments on a grand scale range between generally speaking good to a deeper meaning with excellent on-screen chemistry between these characters and the performances are all good.

Art/Action: well these two components go hand-in-hand; they can either be very beautiful, eye-catching as it transports its viewers from our world into theirs with the landscapes and scenery; for one example the sky being awash with colours and textures; when we have one of our main characters and this supporting character having a drink on this boat whilst having this conversation with this main character] or being graphic [I mean this as a positive] as it relates to robotic creation or showing or the action sequences being lots of carnage with death for one example this is without graphic details; we have our main character which has the ability to go 99% invisible [I have said 99% invisible, because if is a character in this world you know what you are looking for providing you're very quick and the situation meaning if you are in a dark location without something like a torch, good luck trying to find this character; but in this situation being daylight our lead character may be standing there is this very faint outline of where this individual is standing or there is this hardware that when you put it on it will show you where they are providing you're looking in the right direction or area [just to cover my back and make sure I don't irritate any fans of this franchise I should just point out in this film this works on a cloaked character, I'm not sure if it would work on our lead character just because this cloak may be inferior technology, having said that in theory it should work.] But I digress; the viewers can see this criminal getting his posterior handed to him [by thin air/our lead character for a little while.]

This film receives: 10/10, this film is top-notch entertainment; this is an anime that you need to see once in your lifetime [I should quickly add providing you like anime to begin with.]
