4 things about this episode

Warning: there are flashing/colourful/other effects in this episode.

Storyline: this is excellent; in short the egg timer is running out for Tommy/The Green Power Ranger.

Bloopers: the first one is where we have this monster saying in combat with Tommy/The Green Power Ranger "You want the Sword: here it is." But the problem is he is not hitting him with the Sword of Power, he is hitting him with another handheld weapon [The Rod of Destruction] and the next one is where; the majority of The Power Rangers fall into this earthquake created by this monster; more specifically this Sword of Power so how is it that The Power Rangers get imprisoned in this torso armour plating on this monster, shouldn't they be technically still stuck down where this earth divided.

Things are getting real: in the closing scene of this episode; we the viewers are in Angel Grove High School [location on this intersection of steps; Kimberly on the left-hand side, Tommy in the middle both sitting down and Jason on the right-hand side standing against this wall which is connected to these two sections of stairs.]

Where at some point in this scene we have Kimberly trying to be positive and Jason being supportive, but deep down Tommy knows in fact everyone knows deep down in this scene, he is pretty much done as The Green Power Ranger; great on-screen chemistry to put over how Tommy is thinking and feeling at this moment in time, including his fellow Power Rangers going through this process with him [not forgetting Alpha 5 and Zordon as well.]

This episode receives: 10/10, this episode is top-notch entertainment, because it focuses on a hard-hitting storyline and everything that comes with this ongoing situation.

  1. How did Zordon not know of Tommy's betrayal? And why didn't he actually say anything when Tommy menacingly swung the sword at the others, including Kimberly, right in front of him?!

JDF is so much better as evil Tommy. At least when he's being sly, sadistic, and malicious. Personally, I think it was much better than his performance in "Green With Evil".
