Review Time
Warning: this film does contain flash photography
Storyline: well in theory this storyline
should have been something safe and reliable, but in reality it is so, so slow.
I mean yes the viewers do get lots of information at the beginning of the film
and in the final stages as well, but other than that it drifts throughout much
of the film until much later, all I can say about this section is yes it is
noticeably quicker but at this point in this film, you may not even care and on
top of that the ending style is poor; it has a question mark ending for an
ending of what happened next?
Action/Art/Comedy: the action in this
project is weapons being used and combat, the art component is the best
component about this project by some distance; it is in many scenes at
different times be it day or night on land or in the sky and we have this band
playing music in one scene, moving on to the comedy; there are two comedy
elements in this one scene; it is where we have these two characters/performers
[one of them being our lead character/performer Ross/Couture and the other being
Southwell/Purcell dealing with this explosive situation and they are discussing
what colour wire to cut and then on top of that we have this
character/performer shooting another character/performer [because she was about
to shoot our lead character/performer] and our lead character/performer giving
this other character/performer a momentary look and then going back to this
explosive situation.
Character developments/Performances: these character developments are a cliché of these character types
and the performances are generally speaking do the job and their on-screen
chemistry reflects that.
But on
reflection be it Ross/Couture and Ballard/Jones or Ross/Couture and
Southwell/Purcell; this is good on-screen chemistry.
This film receives: 2/10, I mean this is just an opinion/speculation,
because we will never know but if this film had a lot more get up and go to it;
it may have been a solid film, but as I deal with reality this film is poor.
