Review Time: this title is mixed
Fundamental elements: there are words and numbers on screen, cultural elements,
voice-over elements, no subtitles when another language is being used,
slow-motion effects, quick moving effects, background music, time jumps and
place jumps.
Storyline: it is
okay it is of a very basic formula and it sticks to it from beginning to end.
Action sequences:
there are weapons being used, helicopter, armoured resources being used,
combat, workout element, chasing and a underwater rescue.
Artistic visions:
the bullet casings are a nice touch
Comedy level: a
heavy percentage of it is cheap, but there is one very, very tiny element which
is good. Basically a character says "This guy is like the Terminator"
and the camera swivels to look at Robert Patrick looking back in the car
mirror, because he was T-1000 in the film title Terminator 2: Judgment Day 1991
and this scene which ends up our lead role putting someone through glass of
this place of his new job this element is okay, it is something for you to look
out for.
Character developments/Performances: generally speaking the character developments are
something safe and reliable and the performances reflect that. I mean the lead
role and his love interest; well I can see it, but feeling it is a different
subject altogether, yes there is a little bit of panic/feelings I can feel
right towards the end of this project [I can't say too much more than that,
because that would be giving too much away.] But other than that the chemistry
between these two characters/performers, as I have already said it looks like
it is there but anything else not much and briefly there is friction between
some of these characters/performers in this title as well.
Robert
Patrick as Rome, is the all round character/performer in this project, he takes
what has been given to him and works with it.
This film receives:
4/10, I don't know what to say here; now I have done this film review I
wouldn't see this film again, let's just say I was really, really struggling to
keep focused on this project. But in fairness and balance if you are a fan of
John Cena or Robert Patrick give this film a look, I just wouldn't expect too
much.
