The Transformers 1984 -- 1987 [Season 2, Part 2, Volume 4, Disc 1] Episode 44: Child's Play by AverageMansReviews

Review Time: this episode is excellent

Storyline: now after the opening credits the viewers get put down possibly in the middle of this situation where the Decepticons have taken over this sporting event [I say possibly in the middle of this situation,] because that's how this feels, I like this approach it just feels like this episode hits the ground running, I like a little bit of variety in anything I watch and by doing this it frees them up some time to do other things with the time of the episode. But I have to say the storyline is a little bit cheesy and there is this attempted dissection sequence, which I did find a little bit strange this species can understand the Autobots and the Decepticons, so they can have conversations and if it is just to see how they work [there is one character which is interested in doing this] they can still talk about this as well, this is one of those points where the more you think about it, the more it does take a little bit of the shine off this episode, because it doesn't make sense.

Action sequences/Artistic visions: the action sequences and the artistic visions; these two elements have lots of imagination and fun to them as well, it could be in this sporting event where many characters are involved in one way or another or without giving too much of the storyline away, having a smaller selection of characters being in this different place where everything looks bigger.

This episode receives: 9/10, as I have been saying throughout this review there are plenty of imaginative elements in this episode, but my opinions on the storyline keeps changing the more I think about it, but to be fair this mark represents everything else in this episode.
